Chapter 5

Nandini came back home very early, she was dampened because it had started raining outside. She asked Aspan the reason for calling her early, "Is everything okay Aspan?" Aspan gave him a glass of water to her tired soul.

"Today an emergency case has come to the hospital, there has been an accident on the highway and that man is in a very serious condition, although I have given my team the instructions on a video call but He needs an operation, so I have to go." 

Aspan had full faith in Nandini, so the keys of his house were also kept with Nandini. Aspan had gone to the hospital as soon as Nandini came. 

Nandini knew that Aspan would be late coming home due to an emergency. This had happened many times before and now she had become accustomed to it. 

She changed into a long powder Blue kurti along with ankle length bottoms. She tied her wet hair as she would feel problems while cooking for Aspan. 

Kids demanded to bathe in the rain but Nandini knew they would catch cold if she allowed it. Nandini made them understand t

hat this rain was not good to bathe in. The kids agreed as they knew she would never deny if there would be no harm. Nandini made dinner for kids and made them eat properly. Nandini went to Aspan's flat by putting the kids to sleep.

There was a big storm outside, it was raining heavily with strong winds. Nandini prepares dinner for Aspan. She had made his favorite biryani for Aspan today as he will be stressed today due to the emergency case.

All his troubles and tiredness would go away as soon as he saw his favorite food. 

Nandini saw that Aspan had kept his washed clothes on the balcony. 

"Shakal will never learn to keep his things in the right way, always careless, let him come, I will tell him the basics of maturity starts with taking care of clothes," she murmured as she went to the balcony where the rain was pouring.

"Oho!" She cursed when the Electricity also went off due to rain as some poles had fallen only emergency dim lights illuminating the room.

By the time Nandini picked up all the clothes, she too was drenched in the rain. She sighed when heard the sound of the door opening. She understood that Aspan had arrived from the hospital. Nandini was putting the wet clothes on the stand kept on the balcony. 

She went to the kitchen to reheat the food. Nandini was already frightened by the sound of lightning and also with the lack of electricity. But her fear increased when she didn't hear the teasing voice of Aspan. 

Aspan had a habit of calling Nandini as soon as he came home. Strangely, it did not come when the door was opened. 

Nandini felt her heartbeat increase a little but still she waited for Aspan to call her . she heard the sound of footsteps filling the drawing room, which was not of Aspan , she was sure. Aspan was very talkative , who started speaking non stop as soon as entered the house.

Nandini realized that maybe someone was coming towards the kitchen.

Oh God, has a thief come here? Calm down Nandini If he is a thief , he would go to the bedroom for almirah or cupboard. But what if he is some serial killer. Is he coming towards the kitchen? Yes, oh God, First he will kill me then he will eat food? 

Nandini was tearful while thinking about the scenario. She has responsibility for kids.

"I will kill him before he kills me." mumbled Nandini to herself. She murmured to herself.

Nandini grabbed a heavy pan in her right hand and a chef knife in her left hand. She waited for the serial killer or thief to arrive at the kitchen door. As soon as she saw a shadow on the kitchen door, she attacked with the pan with full force on that serial killer's head.

He let out a loud painful shriek "aaaahhhhh" Nandini didn't stop and kept hitting his head. "What the..." he started but Nandini didn't allow him to speak and seeing the opportunity , Nandini tried to attack him with the knife but that person was alerted by the sudden invasion. That killer pulled her towards him with a force and ceased the attack by holding Nandini's left hand and gripping her waist tightly.

Due to Nandini's dripping wet clothes, the kitchen floor also got dampened . Nandini slipped and stumbled to the person's hard chest. She felt thousands of currents pass through her veins. . Her breathing became harsh due to closeness as the person held her tight. A feeling of unease engulfed her whole self.

She raised her head to look at that killer and froze when her eyes went to his face. Suddenly the thunder roared and lightning illuminated their faces. A charcoal black pair stared at a pair of light honey brown emeralds, time had stopped and both were lost in each other. 

Aspan was sleeping due to his long shifts and back to back appointments. His incomplete sleep made him more tired so he came late and slept. 

In the morning, Falcone was sleeping when he heard some keys moving and sat up abruptly. He came out from his room and looked at the door. He saw a figure was going into the kitchen.  He furrowed his brows

Who could be here this early? 

He did Neck crepitus and went to the kitchen silently to check who was there and he saw her, a petite figure of a girl,  DiNi.

She was working in the kitchen without stopping like a perfect house …..maid? She made coffee for herself and started preparing for breakfast.

Falcone was looking at her keenly trying to figure out what this girl was?

He did not like Aspan’s behavior towards  Nandini and for Nandini he gave an earful to Falcone. He was blaming Nandini for that behavior of Aspan. 

You should be punished severely Slut! I hate disobedience and my own brother is ready to fight with me. Hah! You messed wrong babe!Very very wrong!

Realizing that someone was behind her, she turned back and jerked back. She was terrified to see Falcone staring at her. She gulped and asked valiantly 

"S..S..ir! W..wi..Will you have s..s..some c..c..coffee or something, I..I was making green tea for Aspan. I..I..If you want anything please let me know." 

Falcon was staring at her without blinking and without breaking eye contact. 

Beautiful eyes but fake ….someone said right destruction is always covered in beautiful aspects. 

Nandini got nervous looking at her and said "L..Look, whatever happened last night was because of misunderstanding. If you knocked on the door…..If you knocked on the door, I would not have been ….afraid and I would have opened the door, but I …do not know how you opened the door and I It felt like a serial killer had entered."she stammered

Nandini added, "Imagine if Aspan would have been in my place, he would have done the same thing, he too would have been scared." 

Falcon raised both his eyebrows and said, 

"Scared???Aspan???Huh!"he steped in her space and Naandini backed. He smirked seeing her fidgeting.

Doppelganger! A fool!

"I've never seen a housekeeper so headlong. Do whatever you want and get out of here. Aspan can take care of himself."

Nandini felt very bad after hearing  Falcon but thought that maybe this person is from Aspan's family who knows something about him.

"I am a cook here and it is my job to cook for Aspan, I am sorry if you feel bad about anything." Nandini held back her tears and started preparing breakfast for Aspan and Falcon.

Falcon went to the table near the kitchen and started checking his mobile . He checked his mail and threw some orders to Amber. 

Aspan came out while yawning and sat on the chair of a nearby falcon. Before he called her , Nandini was there with a cup of green tea and a cup of coffee. Aspan smiled and Falcon looked at her and saw the coffee mug was kept in front of him. She kept milk and sugar separately. “ I don’t know what coffee you will prefer so I made the coffee and here is sugar and milk add , as per your preferences.” 

Falcon started to make coffee and listen to their conversation . 

Aspan smiled and wished her “ Good morning Rapunzel. How is your health?” 

Nandini replied she was ok but Aspan stood up and started to check her “What is the need to get drenched in rain. Rapunzel , now you are looking pale? “

Nandini held his hand “ Wow Shakaal you are very careful about me. But you are the reason for my pale face.”

Aspan asked” Me? How?” Nandini pointed at the clothes in the balcony shed that were drying.Aspan understood and swallowed “ Rapunzel , you should leave the clothes outside , you are more important than clothes. “

Nandini looked at him angrily “ Shakaal you are so dead.”

Your worst nightmare..

Falcon looked at Aspan and then his eyes implied to Nandini, both were talking as if the Falcon was not there, but he kept his face stoic and expressionless.
