02~ Lollipop

Oh my God! Is it real? I couldn't help but smile at the mere notification that flashed on my phone screen. 

I accepted his request , and gave him a follow back. Ichecked my phone screen for every two minutes.

" Give some rest to your phone! Wash these vessels." 

I placed my phone on my study table and went to wash the vessels.After my dinner , I opened I*******m only to find he accepted my follow request.

I took screenshots of his pictures from the posts and stories , and saved it in a separate folder. 

He is damn hot and I couldn't help but overthink about his future.

He's like a robot ! How will he behave with his wife ?! I'm eager to witness it.

I couldn't help but just slap my forehead at my stupid thoughts . I started checking his followers only to be confronted by the harsh reality.

Not only me! He gave follow request to my friends too. Now I understood , he was following others from the beginning. The only few left are our gang and the front benchers. 

If he gave follow requests to us, then why didn't he give it to front benchers?! 

But I thought he only gave it to me! I'm disappointed to be honest.

I know if I remain in the same position , my overthinking mind will build a fort of stupid thoughts so it's better for me to sleep.

The next day : 

The forenoon classes sucks! Still ten minutes is there for lunch break but I couldn't control my hunger.

"Do you guys have anything to eat?" Radhika asked us.

" No yaar! Not even a chocolate." Sadhana replied her.

Suddenly I remembered about the chocolate in my bag.

" I'm having KitKat." Saying so I took the chocolate from my bag and passed it to Akanksha who divided it into eight pieces and we ate it.

Myra grabbed a chips packet and opened it creating a sound amidst the silence in the classroom making our maths mam glare us.

" Irresponsible idiots." She murmured and we broke into laughter noticing her expressions.

Soon the class came to an end and the chips packet is also empty by now.

Sadhana , kavya and the last benchers went out to have lunch while Vennela went to the hostel.

Akanksha accompanied me to the canteen , we had our lunch there and made our way to the class.

" Hey! Vedanth " Akanksha patted my shoulders and I turned only to see him walk towards the lift near parking lot.

" Why can't he go by the lift in A block entrance?" Gritting my teeth , I pulled Akanksha taking fast steps towards the parking lot. 

When we reached the lift it's almost closed , thank god he stopped it for us.

The lift is almost full with seniors and only we three are from second year. 

Vedanth moved a bit backwards sparing some space for us to stand.

" Don't close the lift ! Manik said he will be here now." I heard one of our seniors whisper .

So I can stare at him for few more seconds . Yayyyyyy!!He is busy with his phone .

My handsome robot ! This is the second time I'm standing close with him. Just a few inches difference between us.

His eyes are fixed on the phone screen . His upper lip covered by his moustache while it's twirled , not like the big ones in movies but a perfectly twirled thin moustache. His beard covered his cheeks. The beard is making him look more hotter than he's already. The first button of his shirt is left open revealing a bit of his chest , his chest hair .......Ufff he's literally killing me with his hotness.

My heart is beating fast like it would fall out of my skin . I'm feeling some warmness around me .

But sometimes I question myself . Is it just an infatuation? My eyes never searched for anyone the way it searched for him. I never had any dirty thoughts about the men I said I'm attracted to, until I met him.

He made me unravel my dirty side lol. 

With a frown on his handsome face , I could feel his eyes avert from the phone screen.

His eyes met mine , making me clutch my shawl in nervousness. 

Did he caught me? 

I think he did! How foolish I'm to stare at him shamelessly in the lift. 

" Will it take some more time?" I asked him suddenly as I realised that the senior they mentioned haven't arrived still.

" I don't know!" He replied me , averting his gaze from me he asked one of the seniors.

" How long should we wait bro?" 

" There he is!" The senior they said entered the lift breathing heavily.

I turned only to find Akanksha glaring at me.

Smiling sheepishly at her I squeezed her hands with excitement.I talked with him for the second time.

She smiled understanding my feelings. 

" Yeah! It's near my bookshelf . The third one near the laptop bag. 

No no , not the blue it's black." I could hear him say.

It feels new to hear his voice near my ears . I could feel his hot breathe hit my nape. 

That's how close we are standing! 

I signalled Akanksha to check our heights. She nodded her head with a smile. 

We reached the fourth floor and I stepped out of the lift followed by Vedanth.

" Vedanth ." Akanksha called him making my eyes widen in shock.

What's she upto now?!

He turned and looked at her like what.

" Are you attending the seminar in mechanical seminar hall?" She asked him.

" No! I heard even the girls aren't attending." He said glancing at us.

" Umm..Yeah actually problem solving hour na! So we didn't attend it." I replied and he nodded his head at us before leaving.

" He's few inches taller than you . No problem." She said with a wink making me blush.

" Your cheeks turn pink whenever you blush ." She said pulling my cheeks and I laughed.

The natural pink shade captures my cheeks whenever I think of him.

We moved to the B block lab , as our afternoon session took place here. 

After practising some sample programs on Java , we were asked to do our incomplete works.

The lab assistant was busy in chatting with the senior faculty, so she didn't notice us .

Nandhini forwarded me a novel , and I couldn't control my excitement. 

" Thank you girllllll!!" I squeezed her hands.

" Haha , Give me a review after reading it yaar! I purchased it in the book fair ." She said with a small smile , I nodded my head and peeked through the pages.

If I opened it now , I'm damn sure that Akanksha will strangle me . 

" It's hell boring." Akanksha whispered as she pulled her rolling chair towards mine.

"Let's play something." I said and we formed a circle. 

We heard the sound of fast footsteps , we immediately rolled back to our places . 

The senior faculty here is very strict , earning his wrath is the worst thing , one could do in this department. 

But Vedanth approached us with a smirk and I sighed in relief. Nandhini glared at him , but he didn't give heed.

He pulled a rolling chair and sat near Nandhini. Akanksha occupied the free space on the left side of Nandhini's chair. I didn't have any option , but to sit beside him. 

My heart beat raced for each passing second , Lowering my head I pretended to use my phone. But in reality , I'm secretly watching him through my phone's black screen.

Kavya who was at the opposite side of my system , forwarded us four lollipops , two green apple , one orange and one grape flavour. 

Before I could pick my favourite green apple , Akanksha grabbed them from my hands . 

She took one green apple for herself , and forwarded one to Nandhini smirking at me. Before I could grab it , Vedanth grabbed the green apple and unwrapped the cover. 

I unwrapped the grape one without any option.

" Arey Girl! What happened?" Nandhini asked and I glared Akanksha who winked at me .

She very well knew that I won't do anything stupid infront of him , that's why she's testing my patience. 

" Green Apple." I replied with a pout. 

To my surprise, Vedanth forwarded his lollipop to me . Nandhini looked at him with widened eyes , I guess Akanksha was shocked too. I didn't know why. 

I gave him a small smile and , got it , I forwarded him the grape flavoured lollipop .

" Dude !" Arnav , Vedanth's friend pulled a chair and sat near us. 

" Totally thirty five ." He said and Nandhini glared at the duo.

Akanksha sighed and started to watch reels.

I didn't even have a slightest clue of what's happening. 

Vedanth took out his purse from the pocket and forwarded him the debit card. 

My eyes fell on the picture of the girl , he placed in his purse.

NISHA! 

His ex-lover , I really do wonder sometimes , how can a girl reject a man like him! 

If I had a guy like him in my life , I would have cherished him forever.
