Jasmine was sitting on a chair like a stone. She doesn't want anyone to know she woke up. She knows she's somewhere she doesn't belong to, somewhere no one belongs. Her eyes were covered with a blindfold and hands and legs were tied with a rope.
The whole time she observed her surroundings even though she couldn't see anything. There was a pin drop silence, not even the ticking sound of clock could be heard. Either it must be an abandoned place or any luxurious one.
Jasmine slowly started to take deep breaths to calm her accelerated heartbeat, which was harder than she thought. Well body betrayed and that only increased when she heard the murmurings from outside the room, it was low and muffled like what they were saying was confidential.
Her curious and inquisitive mind forced her to listen to them but it was impossible.
"Where the hell am I?" She mumbled to herself slowly. She doesn't want them to catch her.
Jasmine spent the other 10 minutes by blabbering to herself and making up plans in her mind to escape. Maybe she won't make it out of here but she has to expose them to the world. Murderers are sinners that have to be punished. "Wage of sin is death" said the Bible. Every sinner deserves to be punished and he is no exception.
Jasmine's breathing got faster and heavier when the door to that room creaked open, followed by some footsteps. The sound of shoe heels hitting the floor resounded and with each step her heartbeat increased. All her confidence and courage drained out from her body like water. She was sure that they could hear it too because it was beating that much louder. Never in her past twenty-one years did she feel this much fear, nervousness and trepidation. Not even when she made up her mind to record them.
"Sir, looks like she hasn't woken up yet" she heard one of them saying and she shut her emerald eyes tightly as if closing it like that would help her to get away from that demon.
A hum was heard and the vibration that left from that voice was spine chilling. That voice, it was raw and hard, the depth of his deep voice, just like the ocean. It was neither rough nor soft but deep and sexy. Dominating.
Soon the sound of door opening and closing was heard and she sighed, a sigh of relief. The breath she held involuntary from the moment that particular person entered the room, a breath she didn't know she was holding until she exhaled them with such force but soon that breath was caught up in her throat, choking her when she heard the screeching sound of the chair.
What the hell! He didn't leave. Her mind screamed. She thought he left earlier with his men but she was unfortunately mistaken.
"You know what? You are really..... not a good actor" that man with authority spoke. From his voice she can clearly sense the lack of interest and the growing irritation but Jasmine didn't budge, she remained silent because she couldn't find her voice. If it was any other person she would obviously say 'sorry my acting skills are awful just like you' but she knows he isn't someone to mess with.
"Now why the fuck are you acting, Miss Jasmine Johansson?" Her name rolled out from his tongue just like how honey dripped from mouth. She never heard someone taking her name like this. It may be because of his thick British accent or the roughness of his voice.
Soon her body flinched a little and a low squeal escaped from her vocal cord when a pair of hands touched the back of her head, removing the fabric that covers her eyes.
Jasmine fluttered her eyes to open, blinking it rapidly in order to make her vision clear as it was blurry after closing her eyes for so long. Her vision became clear and eyes functioned properly only for her other organs to stop functioning. The second her emerald eyes caught the very sight of the giant man who's sitting in front of her on a chair like he owned everything, her breath knocked out from her lungs. Her eyelids opened and closed, repeating the same process again and again. It's her first time seeing him this closely and it is really suffocating. It's like getting trapped in a lift with a handsome vampire. His aura screamed danger and only danger.
In the meantime his gray orbs took their time to study the woman in front of him. He knew it was a girl when he caught her that night but never imagined her to be this beautiful. There is an innocent touch in her beauty that attracted him when he laid his eyes on her. At that time her eyes were covered but now they are open like the ocean, wide and pure, deep and calm.
The aesthetic beauty of her eyes were so appealing, so mesmerizing. For a second he got lost in them. That rare orbs and unmatched beauty instantly caught his attention just like how a celebrity attracts fans when they are in public.
"Are you deaf?" He asked, interrupting her thoughts. She averted her gaze from him when she felt insulted. He's being rude and cocky with her and she from the bottom of her heart disliked it.
"I assume you are" he answered to his own question. Never for once his eyes left her figure as he studied her every action and reaction. He saw how her hands formed a fist and jaw clenched with his offensive comment.
"Might be dumb too 'cause no normal person would dare to do something like you did" his voice was mocking and she once again felt humiliated. No one can stand it when someone humiliates them, especially for a well dignified girl like her.
"I'm not dumb" she argued while looking up, meeting his cold and dead orbs. "And yeah you are right, that I'm not normal, I agree. I can not stand still and watch something bad happen to someone. I'm not heartless like them" she tried to sound brave and confident but that dilated orbs, they displayed her nervousness and fear which he easily detected.
"Nice essay! but I'm not impressed girl" Ethan uttered nonchalantly. He was fed up with this essay of bravery and humanity. Every person used to utter the same when they knew he'll kill them, an act of INNOCENCE.
On the other hand Jasmine was baffled. He just shrugged her and her words off so simply. The way he behaved it is clear that he is not good for her.
"Where's it? Where did you hide it?" Came his question. He knows, she thought. She hid her phone the second she knew they would catch her. She was hesitant but there's no way she'll let that in his hands. The solid evidence against him.
"Wh-What are you talking about?" Her voice just like expected cracked but she managed it by coughing, only if that works.
Ethan didn't respond, just looked at her with his predatory eyes. His eyes drilled right into her soul and she shivered. He can not only scare her mind and body but her soul too. He never blinked and that scared her. Is he some kind of vampire? She thought to herself. The power and dominance he has, she hated them.
"Untie me" it was neither a plea nor an order. Just a statement. She said that because the knot in her hands and ankle were tight that it would surely leave a bruise and at the same time she wanted to change the topic too. His hawk-like eyes and pin drop silence were like a fuel to her inner turmoil.
"You and I both know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Now drop that drama and answer me before I make you" the warning in his voice was clear like crystal. He meant it, each and every word but she couldn't tell him, not even after trying.
Jasmine needed a second to understand what he said cause his accent was thick and fast. She'd to replay it again to understand and when she did, she wishes she didn't.
"Correction-" he uttered. A small smirk emerged in his alluring lips increasing her nervousness.
"Before my men make you" he completed and now the smirk was more clear cause it widened and his eyes shone in mischievous.
And that's when Jasmine took her surroundings. There were his men too, two in total. One beside her and one near the door. Then who left? Her mind queried.
They were muscular, his bodyguards, the one who'll kill and get killed for his boss. They were staring into space, hands on either side, touching the side of the thighs and feet closer, in an attention position.
Jasmine gulped and looked away when she realized the dark meaning behind his words. She felt ashamed and violated. No one used to say things like that to her till now and he is crossing his limits.
"So are you gonna spill the truth or-?" He stopped because he knows she knows the rest of his words.
"I lost it" she lied but she had no other choice. Lying was not a cup of her tea but lying to protect yourself or someone else from immediate danger is not that bad and once again she got no response.
She got to know that he didn't believe it, well no one will but she had to make him believe her so she opened her mouth again,
"I was running fast when they chased me yesterday night and accidentally lost it. I was running for my life" she tried to make it more believable but him being the smartest he easily found her lie. Well there was a chance to make him believe her, it'll happen only when that emerald orbs support her and her lie. That forest green orbs refused to cope up with her and reflected her inner self, that nervous one. Why does someone need to get all nervous if they are telling the truth? He's experienced in this area, a skilled Adonis, someone who's adept in judging and execution.
"Seems like you really need some assistance from my men and I'm sure you'll like it" she felt like some dirty worms crawling in her skin hearing those disgusting words.
"I'm telling the truth, I lost it there. Why are you not believing me? Where should I put my phone on that street?" She asked while raising her voice a little. Beads of sweat adorned the side of her forehead as well as the tip of her nose despite the cool temperature.
"Andrew!" Ethan called out and the man beside Jasmine answered right away. That man just nodded his head without any order as he knew what his boss wanted him to do. The next second the man removed a revolver from the back of his pants and pressed it against the back of her head, snatching her breath. She looked at that man with begging eyes seeking mercy but that was a futile attempt.
But how can she die so easily? She has no problem in dying but what about that evidence? She has to give it to someone.
"Who do you think you are? You can't kill me like that. I-I'm not your pet or toy to kill me like this." She blurted out when the anxiety kicked in with full force. Her green eyes shone when they got filled with tears, tears of helplessness.
He watched as the tears rolled down, caressing her smooth snow white skin ever so gently. They stayed a second on her chin and then fell into her dress, drop by drop. Her eyes were shut close and lips were parted a little to breathe. She felt difficulty in breathing through nose. Her chest rose up and then fell back with each breath she took. He watched how her thick and full lips quivered and hands clutched the chair tightly. She's scared, he concluded. And he likes it, every inch of it. That sight was something beautiful, like erotic.
He didn't even show his one percent of ruthless side but here she is, panting and sweating like she ran away from a stray dog. How will she look when he actually started to scare her, with his not so good ways and behavior and he wanted to see that, explore that.
Explore more about the beauty who dared to collect information about him, who dared to stand against him. After all, it'll be a waste to let go of a beautiful woman like her this easily, Especially for a pervert like him.
Jasmine opened her eyes slowly and her temple ceased when she felt that man removing his gun from her head. Isn't he gonna kill her? She thought.
"Are yo-" "I'm not gonna kill you" Ethan announced and she felt a little hope in her heart. Maybe he believed her lie, No? She asked herself.
"Now are you not going to say thank you?" His voice changed playfully and Jasmine couldn't help but move in her seat uncomfortably.
"Th-Thank you" she muttered slowly. Her eyes were fixed at the white tiles which looked more beautiful than the handsome man in front of her. From there she could see her reflection. A tied up girl with disheveled hair and messy face. Her face wasn't clear but she could see the tiredness in them. She's exhausted and she wanted nothing more than to sleep in her comfy bed. Her timid figure flinched when he got up from the chair. Her eyes followed his moments and watched him staring at her with those sinister eyes. Smiling at her he uttered,
"It's thank you, Sir, Flower"

The path got clear as the bodyguards hurried to either side of the walls, hanging their heads low and bowing their heads at their young boss. Ethan walked straight, his chin up and hands in his pockets. His polished shoes made a perfect rhythm against the marble tiles."Do you want me to put her in the basement?" His PA, Steven asked once they were inside his room. Ethan just sighed before removing his blazer and undid the first two buttons of his white ironed shirt. He loosened his tie a bit by pulling it down and plopped into the big gray coloured couch. He leaned further down into the couch and closed his eyes, obvious to the fact that the man was waiting for his response and he liked it. He liked it, Hell! he loved it when someone wait for him, for his one word, they will wait for god knows how long just to get a response from him and he fucking loved it. He loved the attention. After a few minutes he opened his eyes as well as his mouth."Not now Steven. Now I want you to go an
A small smile spread on her enticing rosy lips when the person she loves the most appeared in her dream. Her eyes were closed and features were calm, and that beautiful smile adorned her face. A few strands of her hair were on her face but they didn't disturb her peaceful sleep. Jasmine tilted her head to the other side when she felt some intoxicating presence. The air was so tense and she felt a sudden urge to open her eyes and take a look at her surroundings. Ethan placed his right leg over the left as he watched Jasmine fluttering her eyes open. She immediately shut it when the light from the windows pierced through her eyes and again she opened them, this time slowly and he watched how her pupils dilated and lips parted when her eyes caught him. She was breathing through her mouth even when she could breath through her nose which showed him she's nervous and precisely scared. "Rise and shine Miss Johansson" his thick and fast accent made her too stunned to speak. His deep voice
Ethan shifted uneasily on his bed. He was feeling weird, because of a woman? He didn't want to admit it but that's the truth. Whenever he closes his eyes and tries to sleep her emerald eyes and plump lips come into his vision making him wake up all sweaty and hard. He couldn't help but imagine taking her, the way her lips quivered and eyes widened in sheer terror amused him to no extent. She did nothing voluntarily but those involuntary actions and responses, God! He loved it. Ethan has seen many types of beauties, tall ones, short ones, blondies, brunettes, hot, skinny, stunning and many more but Jasmine was different. She's simple, elegant and timid, with long black hair, emerald shiny eyes, pointed nose, snow white skin which has natural blush and that full thick pink lips and that freckles, God they were a cherry on top. She has a different type of beauty, a beauty he had never seen, a rare combination of features. A piece of Art. He couldn't really scan her body as she was wear
Jasmine stumbled, resulting in a small yelp from her mouth. She doesn't know where they are taking her. It was early in the morning when two bulky guards woke her up saying their boss demanded her presence. Jasmine looked around the penthouse in amusement. She was awestruck by the beauty of the house, the whole penthouse, the interior works, royal furnitures, exquisite sculptures adoring the white walls, matching curtains, luxury paintings and many more. The whole house screamed just one thing, wealth. Jasmine averted her gaze from the house when the bodyguards stopped walking. She squinted her eyes when one of them opened a door and motioned her to go inside. 'Aren't they coming?' She thought to herself but chose to enter as she had no other options. Her questions were answered when they closed the door from outside, leaving her there alone. Like a lost puppy she looked around the whole room with wide stunned eyes. She flinched hard and backed away when a deep and thick voic
Jasmine looked outside the window with curious yet surprised eyes. The road which they are traveling now is very familiar to her. The trees, the buildings, the people, the houses, everything. She knew everything. Her home. They are near her house. What is he exactly planning? She couldn't find an answer to her own question. He is a fucked up man with no morals so there is no use in asking him such question. Jasmine played with her fingers in trepidation. She was nervous would be an understatement. She tried to open the door quietly but it was locked. He locked it and once again she made herself a fool. Her eyes never left the window glass. There was a hint of hope in them, if someone notices her and helps her? Her poor mind hoped but soon realization hit her, the bitter truth, she has no one. She's all alone. She's a stray kid. Her eyes watered with anger and sadness. If her parents were here then none of this would have happened. She'll be happy and alive. Why did they leave
"Why are we here?" Jasmine's throat went dry while speaking. It was like drinking vinegar, her throat was sore and burning. "What? I thought you'd like it?" Ethan spoke with a stoic face, jamming his hands in his pants pockets. "This place is so beautiful, isn't it? " He inquired and turned around, his back facing her. Jasmine refused to respond. She badly wants him to answer her but she knew he wouldn't. "The perfect plot for my company. Absolutely flawless" he said purposefully loudly, pressing on each word. He knew that'll catch her attention no matter what. "What did you say?" Jasmine queried. There wasn't any sign of anger, sadness or disappointment, only confusion was there. "Yes, you heard me right, Miss Johansson. I'm going to build my new company here." He didn't turn around but Jasmine felt his burning gaze on her, Like he even had eyes on his back. For a second that girl was numb. Processing everything. How can he build any company here?. This is not his fucking
The ride back to his penthouse was faster than Jasmine thought. She was immersed in her little thoughts that she didn't even look at the way they were traveling. Luckily he didn't go with her. He ordered one of his men whom she had met a few times before to send her back. "Come out" Jasmine was immediately pulled out from her thoughts by that voice. She snapped her head up to meet the stoic face of that same man. It was then she realized he was calling her for the nth time and she's doing nothing but daydreaming. "Sorry" Jasmine apologized as she got out of the car, slamming the door shut. She again looked up when she got no response from him. Didn't he hear her apologizing? She thought. "Follow me" And the next second that man started walking, not giving a damn about the girl behind him. Jasmine after processing his words ran after him before he could disappear from her sight. Jasmine's eyes widened with surprise as she looked around the penthouse in astonishment. It is be
Jasmine woke up before 5: 30 in the morning. The first thing she did was take a bath even though the water froze her entire body. She loves taking a morning bath, it keeps her fresh and energetic. After the shower she put on the same clothes she wore 'cause she didn't want to wear the clothes which were in the wardrobe. Jasmine let her hair down as it was wet from the shower and slightly combed it back. After satisfying with her looks she got out of the room, unwillingly. The only reason she's obeying him is that she doesn't want to repeat what happened between them last night. Him touching her burned her more than she thought. His touches were neither gentle nor passionate. It was full of dominance and lust. She obviously saw the burning hot desire in his gray orbs yesterday night. That's why she did everything in her to not to look into his eyes. That charring eyes, spine-chilling orbs. With soft steps Jasmine wandered around the house, not knowing where the kitchen was. Her eyes
Jasmine was inside the dressing room, her delicate fingers continuously wringing together as she let her breath out with a loud exhale. Her lips, painted with a bright cherry red color, were pressed into a thin line. Despite the cool temperature provided by the AC, it didn't manage to soothe her or keep her from sweating profusely, as if she were sitting inside a very hot sauna. The door to the dressing room swung open with a slight creak and Jasmine's eyes darted towards the direction from where the sound came, looking to see her aunt. She gently stood up, her hands clasped together in front of her as she watched the pair enter with a tiny smile on her aunt's face and a glimmer of guilt in her eyes."Jasmine" the woman uttered, her eyes sparkling with admiration as she admired the young woman standing in front of her. She had indeed grown up, the last time she saw her she was merely a young girl of sixteen. And now she was a fully grown woman and a mom with her own little bundle of j
Two years laterIt was a balmy morning, the sun looking all prepped to embark on its daily journey. Its bright, yellowish-orange light suffused the surrounding environment, illuminating the world from the blanket of darkness that covered it mere hours before. It was another typical Sunday, filled with the sweet sounds of music drifting out from houses to mix with the chatter of children gathered around their tables. Their parents moved about their homes, a single eye on their little ones while the other was fixed on their busy schedules. Some people were already out on the streets, jogging and walking with a smile on their faces. They waved cheerfully at every stranger who passed them, a small gesture of positivity to start their day.On the other hand, some people weren't quite ready to face the day. They snuggled up in their comfy beds, their faces buried in their pillows, savoring the rare respite of having a holiday.Ethan fit squarely into this category as he snuggled into his bi
Dream or reality?Delusional or truth?Imaginary or actual?I don't know. It's like deep within I know it's her and she's in front of me, looking back at me with the most beautiful pair of her viridian orbs but it's just that my mind isn't ready to believe it, like it's not ready yet to acknowledge the truth that lays in front of my own eyes. Why? Maybe because of the pain? The pain of betrayal and agony? Or maybe regret.. or maybe...maybe shame? Shame of what she's thinking of me. Embarrassed of myself that she might be judging me, mocking me. But the heart, it was beating faster and I'm not surprised cause that's how it always functioned near her. Beating like it will explode in any minute, the rush of blood and adrenaline, the unintentional movement of muscles in my face and body, the shivers down in my spine, I'm way too used to them now. From the corner of my eyes I caught my dad and Mr. Sinclair leaving. Good, privacy is what we need the most now.As we stood there looking at
Ethan's povDripping....blood dripping from my hand. Not mine, the blood of the disgusting man who now lays on the other end of the cell with me. Endured....a lot. Tried to talk… a lot. Nothing worked. Some people are like that. They won't understand with words, and those who don't understand by words, shall understand by actions. My eyes are boring holes on the wall opposite of me, glaring back at me. My back pressed against the other cold wall while I slumped against the floor. The video of me spread like wildfire. After I was arrested by the police, dad and Steven took the matter in hands and the video was removed from online. But who was I kidding? The field I am working on is business. No commitments, no attachments, just like the word says, pure business. And the number of rivals who are eager to take the position was too many that they did everything to at least put me inside these four thick walls. The irony? They all unite for this matter. All the rivals together, just wo
There she stood, motionless and unresponsive. Her body felt paralysis-like, and not a single muscle moved. Her sparkling green eyes were fixed on the speeding car heading her way, yet it was unclear if the headlights were mocking her or warning her to get out of the way. The glare was too much to handle, and she was not certain what was happening. She knew she had to act quickly. The stakes were high, as the cost of inaction was not only her life but also that of someone else. She had to make a quick decision because if something happened to her, it wouldn't just be one life lost - it would be two. Not only did she know she had to act quickly, but something was holding her back. A numbness had set in her body and despite the rising adrenaline, she couldn't make herself move. In that moment, she wondered why all of this had to happen to her.Because of Ethan?Could it be that all of this was happening as a result of her choice to ignore everything and be with him? Was this the univers
"That he fucking killed your dear ex-boyfriend, beautiful"Betrayed.. torn.. used.. Those were the feelings she felt as Massimo uttered those words to her and her heart broke within her chest. She begged and begged for Ethan to deny what he said was true, to tell her that whatever Massimo said was a lie. But when she saw his head lowered low and hanging he couldn't even meet her eyes, she knew that this was the end. The tears from her eyes flowed rapidly and her body seemed to shake uncontrollably with every passing second. As his head hung low and he refused to look her in the eye, she knew that the words that had been spoken held a truth she didn't want to accept, and her heart broke all over again at the realization. She wanted to scream at him and slap him, hit him out of her pain and betrayal, but she couldn't move herself to do so. She could only watch as the man she loved and trusted was breaking her heart with each passing instant, and all she could do was cry and beg for him
The muffled sounds of people talking filled her ears, but despite her utmost efforts, her heavy eyelids remained clamped shut, offering no respite from the utter darkness enveloping her. The tiny strip of damp material covering her eyes could not fully mask the thick, noxious stench that filled her nostrils, and her conclusion was that it was none other than her own blood. In this tense and unsettling atmosphere, the muffled voices only intensified her mounting distress and fear. The icy breeze blowing against her unprotected skin made her shiver uncontrollably. Her breath began to quicken as the ice-cold wind continued to blast against her, and her lips turned blue from the bitter cold. The cold feeling quickly spread throughout her body, making it feel like her entire body was immersed in an ocean of freezing water. The thought of getting wet with such frigid water was enough to send shivers down her body, yet there was little she could do to protect herself. The loud, incoherent ch
She felt as if she had been transported to the middle of an endless ocean, the vast expanse of blue stretching beyond her sight on every side. Yet somehow, she was not drowning in its depths, but floating weightless, like a piece of debris. The vastness of the ocean and the immense sky above overwhelmed her, and she felt as if she was totally alone, with no presence of any other beings in sight. The loneliness and isolation were so profound that she felt like a tiny, insignificant spec amidst the vast emptiness. As the loud commotion and noise pulled her out of her trance, Jasmine blinked and shifted her eyes away from the television toward the commotion. Xavier scrambled up from his seat, his tone becoming more frantic as he yelled at the driver to turn the car around while Ella clutched his shirt sleeves. The chaos was becoming increasingly intense as she watched a look of horror on Xavier's face. She felt her legs weaken as she took a tentative step forward, her eyes glued to the s
"The person you're trying to reach is unavailable, please leave a message after the tone."Jasmine let out a sigh as she looked at her phone in her hand. This was the third time she'd called Ethan, yet the calls were again diverted to voicemail. Now that four weeks had passed since he left, the calls and conversations had also become more sporadic and scarce. He had made sure to call her once, but his tired and weary voice was easily recognizable. After cutting the call, Jasmine was left with a feeling of emptiness. She looked out at the balcony, her emerald eyes darting towards the big gate that was safely secured. Every time she'd glance at it, her mind would play cruel tricks on her, giving her false illusions of him walking through that entrance. Whenever she heard a noise, her heart would start pumping frantically, hoping and believing that it was him coming to see her. But sadly, he never came.As she scanned the whole place out of habit, she realized that something else had cha
