LIAM
We thought we had a fucking lead, but the rain fucking washed it away. By the way the marks were left along the far side, it was clear a body had been dragged along the northern side of the forest. What fucking confused me was that it was almost as if the person knew exactly what angles the cameras were positioned at. Which made me even more pissed off. It meant there was a high chance that the killer was on the inside of the IT or surveillance department.
I had told Zack and Damon that I wanted to question every fucking person again, but they had been against it. I was fucking tired of being told how to run my pack.
Coming back to my room, seeing Raven sitting there in my bed telling me how I might not even live past the next fucking blood moon was the fucking icing on the damn cake.
If that were the fucking case, then what was the point of all this? What was the point of hurting her by keeping her around me? What was the point of keeping a good
Thank you for reading!
RAVEN "This isn’t what it looks like!" I squeaked, pushing Liam off roughly, my eyes falling to his hard-on. Goddess, kill me now! Let the earth open up and swallow me whole! Is this karma for all the times I’ve seen Uncle El and Aunty Red making out and made fun of them! We both got to our feet and Liam quickly sat down on the bed, grabbing the duvet and pulling it onto the bed before very smoothly draping it over his lap. I stood there staring at Aunty Red, who was smirking despite the clear confusion in her eyes. She crossed her arms under her big plushies and looked between us. I knew she could smell Liam in my room, which meant she knew he had been here for a while… "So… I guess I disturbed you guys." She said, clearing her throat. No matter how smooth she was behaving, she was clearly surprised. She now looked at her son, who was running his fingers through his messy locks. That just made him look so sexy... His chiselled
RAVEN "Well first of all, you all acted stupidly. I’ll start with that idiot of mine." She shook her head. "I get that he doesn’t want to share. Then, instead of running away, he should have stayed here and come up with a solution, but he’s always been the passive one… Even when they were younger and both he and Kiara wanted something, he’d let her have it. I guess in this situation, he couldn’t really just give you up but also didn’t want to cause damage, and so he left. I personally think seeing that you two didn’t even move on probably just confused him even more, and he now thinks Damon has lost his chance so has decided he will take what he wants. What irritates me is that you aren’t an item." I remember Liam saying; ‘you two can do whatever you want’. That’s a good point. He did give us a chance in a way… Even if it was in anger and bitterness. "Damon, his heart is in the right place, but by playing the lenient passive one he’s giving both you and Liam
RAVEN I pushed open the low white fence that surrounded the graveyard. Not all children were buried here, as some would be buried with their parents, but there were still many graves. It was strange to know that I had a brother that I had never gotten to meet. I looked down at the grass that was sprinkled with daisies and buttercups. Scattered between the small graves were several cherry blossoms. I walked through the graves, scanning the names for my brothers, stopping when I saw a young woman bending over, placing an orchid on each grave. She turned, sensing me watching her, and gave me a small smile. It took me a moment to realise she was the Omega who I had seen in the kitchen the other night. "Sorry…" She said, stepping away from the grave. I waved my hand. "Oh, don’t apologise! I'm just searching for a grave…" I said, giving her a small smile. "Whose?" She asked. "I might know, I visit often." "Oh… Renji Jacobs."
RAVEN Damon and I quickly rushed downstairs, not wanting to disturb Aunty M with Dad’s shouting. I pulled open the front door to see Dad standing there, his eyes blazing as he glared at me with such hatred that my heart skipped a beat. "Who told you about him?" He hissed, advancing towards me. I stepped back, flinching, a vague memory of long ago flitting through my head. Dad had never hit me, had he? Subconsciously, something didn’t feel right. He stopped a few feet away, holding out Sparks. "I SAID WHO TOLD YOU!" He thundered. "What the… Calm down." Damon said warningly. Placing his hand on my back comfortingly. "I’m talking to her." Dad hissed back, shaking Sparks in front of me. My breath hitched, my chest aching as I stared at Sparks, a plushie that meant a lot to me. I had made him when I was a child, all by myself, with needle and thread. I had pricked myself a hundred times that day, but
DAMON"Let go of me, Nicholson!" Raven’s dad hissed.Yeah, I don’t think so. Not when he gave shit like that to Raven. I had mind linked Liam, who told me to bring him in, he fucking needed this.Entering the headquarters, I dragged the growling and shouting Haru Jacob’s to the room Liam was waiting at. I don’t think addressing him as Mr Jacobs feels right anymore, especially after all the shit he’s clearly given Raven."If I were you, I’d stay quiet. I'm sure your reputation matters, and if you continue like this, the entire pack will know you’re here." I growled icily, pushing open the door.Liam was sitting on one of the two chairs, his legs up on the table, crossed at the ankles, playing with a small knife in his hand.He looked at us, his glare on Raven’s dad with a glint in his cold blue eyes."Nice of you to drop by, do take a seat." He said with a cold mocking smirk."I wi
LIAM My eyes blazed as those words left his fucking mouth. I grabbed his hair, slamming his head into the table. How could she not have mentioned it? Fuck, didn’t she even think to tell us? Clearly, we weren’t real friends. But I can’t go fucking blame her for shit when I should have picked up the damn signs. "Have you hurt her physically?" I asked dangerously. "ANSWER ME!" "And if I have?" He spat. The anger that was blazing through me suddenly snapped inside of me, ravelling out of my control. All I could see was the darkness closing around us and Haru’s face; it twisted in contempt for my mate, looming before me. "Liam… don’t!" Someone was shouting, but it didn’t matter, all I wanted was to kill the man before me. Was that the smell of blood? Who was screaming? I felt a jarring pain in my back and I was slammed to the ground. Someone was trying to pin me down. I glared up at the man who was on
RAVEN"Let’s have a look around just in case." Liam said quietly. The moment he took my mug off me all three of us stood up. Damon scanned the kitchen before looking at the back door."How did they even get in?" He murmured more to himself than us."The door was unlocked." I said, scanning the ground to see if there were any foot prints or anything."The door was definitely locked, I always check and hide the keys so Momma doesn’t wander out.""You check the kitchen, see if anything looks out of place. Although you are so fucking messy, I doubt you’ll even realise if anything is out of place." Liam remarked."I cleaned the kitchen today…" Damon almost sounded like he was complaining."Hard to believe." Liam replied, looking around the fairly clean kitchen. "I’ll take a look outside."It was almost like old times with their friendly banter. I just hoped that this could become permanent.
DAMON I left the house, mind linking Robyn to ask where she was. ‘At the packhouse, is everything ok Damon?’ She sounded worried and I felt a little bad, I had totally shut her out since Raven got back and I ended things. Yeah, what I did wasn’t right, but Robyn was the one who got hurt in this equation, along with Raven. "Yeah, all’s good, I just need to ask you something." I asked, breaking into a run. She had a key to our house. Back when she used to house sit and watch Mom, I gave her both the front and back door. I just needed to make sure she still had them, or ask if she had come around today, although I doubted that… "Ok." She sounded hesitant. I entered the packhouse, going straight up to Robyn’s room. I knocked on it lightly and she opened it pretty quickly. I guess she was watching out the window. "What is it?" She asked, crossing her arms. I didn’t miss the fact that she was wearing a fluffy gown ove
Bonus Chapter – Babysitting Our Pups LIAM "Damon, watch it!" I growled as he kicked the thermos over. Yes, it was closed, but it fell, making a loud sound that made Theo, who had just fallen asleep, wake up with a start. "Fuck guys, can you two not even mind six pups?" Zack asked, raising an eyebrow as he stepped into Damon’s lounge from the kitchen area eating a fucking sandwich. "Make yourself useful and feed Carter." He raised an eyebrow. "I don’t know how." Damon, who was currently rocking Artemis and Ares, raised an eyebrow. "Seriously, Zack?" Zack simply smirked, dropping onto the sofa. "I'm only here because Tay said to help you two, but I have no clue about kids." He switched the TV on, only for the volume to disturb the two pups who were sleeping on the sofa. Jayce became completely fresh as he stared around him. Our mates had gone for a spa day out and here we were with these six, plus
Bonus Chapter – Home & Family ROBYN The Westwood quintuplets were born eleven days before our little princess. Artemis Luna Nicholson. She was beautiful, with grey-blue eyes, black hair and lashes that curled up perfectly. My beautiful little baby girl. She was a good baby who slept well, I often had to wake her up to feed her myself. Damon was the perfect partner to have. He willingly took care of her and me, it never felt like he didn’t want to do it or let on that he was tired. Even after a long day of work, he didn’t let it affect his care for me or our baby. Being a new Alpha, there were many on the council who didn’t like it. He was the second non-alpha born to take the title of ‘Alpha’ and it was something he had to prove that he was good at. I know the king didn’t like him due to his involvement with Kiara, however at the council he was fair and just, not letting any of his personal opinions blind his judgement of seeing Damon’s capabiliti
Bonus Chapter – A Miracle LIAM "That’s it, Raven you got this hun." Kiara encouraged, holding her hand, her purple aura swirling around her as Raven breathed steadily, pain contorting her face as she pushed. "And again! Almost here, babe, you’re doing amazingly." My own heart was racing and seeing her in this much agony was tearing me to shreds inside. She was going to have to do this five times? Fuck this wasn’t fair. "I'm ok." Raven whispered to me; her face scrunched in pain before she pushed once more. I caressed her clammy forehead, my other hand holding hers tightly. Her nails dug into my skin, drawing blood, but I wished I could take away the pain she was in. "Almost there, Luna." One of the midwives added. We were in Kiara’s pack, having spent the last ten days here. Raven let out a scream as she pushed with all her might, and the sound of a cry filled the room. I kissed her forehead as her
Bonus Chapter – The Struggle FOUR MONTHS LATER… RAVEN Pregnancy was hard. I felt exhausted, I could barely walk, sit up, or anything. My back ached continuously and I was actually going to be leaving for Kia’s pack in a week or two as I was nearing the end of my pregnancy and everyone agreed I needed her by my side. For her to come here was a lot harder, so Liam and I would go there whilst Uncle El and Aunty Red would run the pack in our absence. News had spread that the Blood Moon Pack’s Luna was going to have quintuplets, and I knew it was more of a spectacle than anything else. I refused to go to events, I didn’t want to see anyone. Goddess! I'm not something to stare at! I looked over at Robyn, with her normal-sized bump, she was due around the same time as me. She was further along than I was, but due to mine being a multiple pregnancy, I was probably going to have them first. "You ok, babe?" She asked me. I nodded
Bonus Chapter – Breaking The News LIAM Two hours had passed, and I was still stunned… I vaguely heard Damon tell the doctor to not pass the news onto anyone, that Raven and I would do that ourselves. I can’t believe I fucking fainted… but it still can’t be real right? Five pups? Goddess. "Are you ok?" Raven asked me, cupping my face as I sat on the hospital bed. The sparks from her touch rippling through me. I closed my eyes, pulling her between my legs and resting my head against her breasts for a moment. "Yeah… Fuck, I mean, I should be asking you that." I looked up at her concerned, my eyes skipping over her tiny frame; how the fuck was that even going to work? I ran my hands down her waist, despite the shock there was a spark of excitement inside of me. Raven and I were actually having a pup together, scratch that – PUPS. I looked up into her gorgeous eyes, raking my fingers through her hair. "How the hell a
Bonus Chapter – Pregnant Or Not MONICA Channing and I had returned to mine, well it would soon be ours. His children and brother were as understanding of our relationship as my son was. It was just Anna who couldn’t stomach it. Yet, she was strictly not allowed on Blue Moon territory. When she found out about Channing’s new position, she wanted him back. Disgusting. I hoped I didn’t have many run-ins with her, I was better off without it. She had cheated on Channing when he was an amazing, selfless man. I will always love Aaron, and just the thought of him made my heart ache, but I was able to love Channing too. Perhaps it would never reach the level of love I had for Aaron, but it was enough. "Want to visit his grave tomorrow?" He asked, pulling me onto the sofa next to him. He was always so understanding. Despite both his legs being destroyed in the battle of Hecate’s Betrayal years ago, he had not let it get to him. This man was strong, bra
Bonus Chapter – A Nicholson’s Family Dinner DAMON It had been six months since Kiara and Alejandro’s wedding, and whilst the king and queen had gone off on a four-week honeymoon, their children had resided at the Black Storm Pack. I heard from Liam that Rayhan had gotten stressed out with Dante just as much as Liam had with Azura when Uncle El and Aunty Red had gone on their trip. Luckily for me, I got to spend time with my beautiful mate without any kids around, but I was still secretly praying Liam had a kid soon. I did love kids. They are damn cute, and when Robyn was ready, I didn’t mind having one myself. My mate, one who was so damn hardworking and organised. Speaking of… She stepped out of the bathroom with a cloud of steam, wearing maroon lingerie and a black satin cap on her head. "Don’t look at me like that, I just showered." She replied, despite her heart racing. I tilted my head, winking at her. "You need to keep yo
Bonus Chapter – A Day Minding Azura LIAM Mom and Dad had been gone for over two weeks already, which meant Azura was here with us. Raven had gone early that morning to Kiara’s pack as they had some shopping to do for the wedding. I don’t get how women’s shopping never finishes, but if they’re happy shopping, what more could I ask for? Anyway, since Raven was gone, so I was stuck minding my adorable little sister. The only problem was that she’s a four-year-old pup who has asked way too many questions and still picks her boogers, although she told me a few weeks ago she doesn’t… Lie. She had been fairly good to be fair, although she gets a bit emotional every time she gets off a video call with Mom. "So Wiyam, what we do now?" She asked, rubbing her nose. I raised my eyebrows, it was past five in the afternoon. "Well, I'm thinking, how about we make a nice meal for when Raven gets back? It will be a nice surprise
