Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at Sheena wondering what might happen when they’ll come to know about who that girl is. They were coming for Emily. They were going to find her and kill her to avenge me by not letting this curse be lifted because they might be thinking that I was going to get that curse lifted by using that girl and become an alpha. “Did – did they tell you who that girl is?” Dylan asked her. “No, and I think they don’t know that yet…” Sheena said and then looked at us suspiciously to add, “Do you know who that girl is?” “No… We are still finding her…” I said to her hastily and she began to nod. “Then please tell me who killed Earl? I am freaking out…” She said and held my hand while I rolled my eyes. “Why are you freaking out, huh? They are going to kill that girl who can lift the curse. They are going to take vengeance on me. What’s yours there to lose?” I asked her in frustration. “They will kill me…” She revealed fearfully with tears welling up in her eyes and
Aiden’s POV: I was in the car with Dylan, on the way to Emily’s house. As I looked out of the window and saw us passing through the Mile road, I recalled every moment I spent with her there. For the first time in my life, I saved a girl on that road who at first meant nothing to me but I was still there to save her and to protect her from every danger. I realized that I could care for someone so much that I would be ready to give up my life for that person. I realized that I was ready to give up something that could make my life better. That could be my only chance to be an alpha of my pack but I was ready to give all that up because I couldn’t hurt her. That’s how much I was in love with her. And after loving her so much and then knowing that I couldn’t be with her and I couldn’t even experience for a moment what it’s like to be with her, was the most painful thing ever. I breathed heavily and gulped down the pain I was feeling in my heart. The pain of knowing the fact that I wasn’
Emily’s POV: I kept looking at him as I had no answer to what he asked. He kept looking into my eyes while crossing his arms against his chest and waited for me to say something while I could feel my heart beating faster as I wanted to know everything but I also wasn’t ready to promise him that I would leave town. “Aid – Aiden…” I started and took a breath while looking away. “Why is your car here?” I asked him again in confusion. “Because I was here…” He replied and then added, “Emily? Are you going to promise me?” “You were here? What does that mean? You were here since when? Your clothes… They are the same from last night” I asked him in confusion. “Emily? What about the promise?” He asked loudly. “Aiden, were you here all night?” I asked him, ignoring his question and trying to buy some time to think about it. “Emily…” He said loudly and grabbed my hand while I quivered and looked at him fearfully. “Are you going to promise me?” He asked again. “No, I can’t…” I said out l
Emily’s POV: There was complete silence as I revealed it to them and they kept looking at me with their eyes widened in shock. I looked up at them and took a breath while thinking about what I was going to say to them. “What?” Melissa managed to speak and then turned to me to add, “What are you saying, Em?” “Are you leaving because of that girl Sheena? Are you scared?” Aria asked me and I began to shake my head to a no while Aria added, “If you are scared then you should know that we are here Emily… Nothing will happen…” “No, Aria…” I said and gulped before looking at both of them. “Guys, I am leaving town because, because I – I want to visit my dad…” I added. “Your dad? He just visited you, Em… And why did you decide it all of a sudden?” Melissa asked me in confusion. “I am just missing him, Melissa and after this Aiden drama… I really want to spend some time with my dad. I want to visit him before our exams…” I told them. “Em, we are here for you… You can share everything wi
Aiden’s POV: I was leaning to the car while thinking about Emily and wondered how I would bid goodbye to her when she would decide to leave town. “How long are you going to stand here in the middle of the road?” Dylan asked and walked towards me while I looked away. “Until Emily tells me that she is leaving town” I told him and look at the sky to see that it was about to get dark. “And what if she doesn’t?” Dylan asked me. “Then I will ask my men to take her away to Boston where her dad is” I told him. “Against her will?” Dylan asked me. “Yes…” I told him while sighing. “I don’t understand one thing, Aiden…” Dylan started while I looked at him. “Why didn’t you tell her the truth? About that curse lifting thing?” He asked me. “Because I didn’t want her to feel guilty while leaving town…” I said to him and gulped. “So you are saying that if you would have told her the truth, she would have left the town? That means she would have ran away leaving you with the curse?” Dylan ask
Aiden’s POV: ****15 Minutes Ago**** I saw Emily standing in front of me, holding the door as she opened it. “You are here” She said and took a breath. “You wanted to meet me. How could I not come?” I asked her while she smiled slightly and bent her face down, blinking rapidly. “Thanks for coming” She said to me and made way for me to enter inside. “It’s dark now… You should leave” I said to her. “Yeah I know…” She said and took a breath before adding, “Um, I just needed to talk” I nodded and walked into the house along with Dylan to see Melissa and Aria in the lounge. As I looked to the side, I saw a bag. “All set to go” I said to her. “Yeah” She said and gulped before looking at her friends nervously. After a minute of awkward silence, they got the hint and Melissa started, “You want us to go, I get it” As Emily smiled at them, Melissa and Aria climbed up the stairs to get to Emily’s room while Dylan also followed them behind. “They are surprisingly quite okay with you
Aiden’s POV: I stood there in Emily’s room, looking around and realizing that she was nowhere. “Emily…” I called out her name loudly but there was no answer. I ran towards the bathroom with a hope that I might find her in there but somewhere deep down in my heart I knew she wouldn’t be there because she was gone. “Aiden…” Dylan’s voice came from behind and I walked out of the bathroom to see him standing near the door with Melissa and Aria who looked clueless and worried. “Dylan” I added loudly and then walked towards him in frustration. “Why did you let her go alone?” I added loudly as my heart began to race faster and I could feel myself getting restless. “Aiden, calm down…” Dylan said and placed his hand on my shoulder while I turned around and looked at her window which was open. I ran towards it and looked down to see that there was no one there also. “What is happening? Where is Emily?” Melissa started from behind. “How did she disappear from her room? Where did she go?”
Aiden’s POV: Dad kept looking at me while I stood there glaring at him. “You cannot fight me for that girl, Aiden…” He said loudly. “Don’t make me, then…” I added sharply. “I knew you would come… Angry, like this only…” Dad said and stepped back before adding, “This proves how much you love that human…” “I do…” I confessed loudly. “I do love her...” I added. “She’s a human, Aiden…” Dad said loudly. “I don’t care…” I shouted and then added to him, “I am not scared of anyone to accept that I love a human. I am not even scared of you…” “You are being crazy…” He added bitterly and then walked forward to add, “The Maesters will kill you. Don’t you know that?” “I know everything but I choose not to care about that because I only care about her…” I argued loudly while my veins kept bulging up. Dad continued to breathe heavily and shook his head in disbelief. “I cannot let this happen…” Dad said and I looked at him. “You were hiding everything from me all this time…” Dad accused.
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
