Emily’s POV: I kept looking at Aiden in shock while trying to get my breathing back to normal which just got irregular.“Wha – What?” I asked him and gulped.“Yes…” He replied and I couldn’t believe him. I kept wondering about how my life was at risk after coming to that party.“But why?” I asked him.“Em…” Melissa called me out and I turned to look at her being held by Dylan.“Why aren’t they letting my friends come to me?” I asked Aiden in frustration.“Because I need to talk to you alone” He replied back in frustration and I gulped.“Aiden what is it?” I asked him anxiously. He grabbed my arm tightly again and pulled me closer to him while I could feel his fingers pressing my skin as if piercing through it and I groaned in pain.“You don’t listen to me, Emily… I told you my father is not the one to be trusted and yet you are here attending his party” He said bitterly.“But why will he hurt me only? We are not together, Aiden… Then why would he want to hurt me?” I asked him in frus
Emily’s POV: I kept looking at Aiden wondering what was bothering him a lot and why he was behaving like this. “Dad this isn’t necessary” Aiden said to him and he smiled. “Of course, it is Aiden… I have this party in your honor too. And Emily, she is your partner, so she deserves to be here too” Mr. Kevin replied to him while Aiden looked away in frustration. I held that glass in my hand and kept looking at it in confusion wondering what that drink was and if it had alcohol in it. “Here take your glass too” Mr. Kevin asked Aiden and he grabbed the glass and sighed. “So, here we are raising a toast to these two amazing talents in front of us” Mr. Kevin said and then added, “I hope everyone has their glasses with them” The crowd cheered and raised their glasses up in the air. “Cheers!” Mr. Kevin said. As I moved my glass up to my mouth to have a sip from that drink, we all heard someone speak up on the mic, “Stop” I looked up to see who was speaking and saw Sheena walking towa
Aiden’s POV: As they kept looking at me, I prepared myself to tell them the truth now. Taking a deep breath, I started, “Look…” Suddenly my phone began to ring again and I took it out to see who it was. “Is it your dad?” Dylan asked me and I looked at him and took a breath. “No, it’s not dad” I said and walked away from there to answer the call. “What is your problem?” I answered and walked towards the corridor. “I told you to stay there. Nothing’s going to happen to you… I’ll come there when I’ll get free” I said bitterly and hung up the call when I realized that my friends were standing behind me. Rolling my eyes, I turned around to look at them and sighed. “It was her, right?” Dylan started and then added, “It was Sheena” I looked away and took a breath while he added further, “You knew she was going to do this? Right?” “Aiden why don’t you tell us everything? Don’t you trust us?” Mason asked me and I looked at him shaking my head in disbelief. “I couldn’t… I wanted to k
Aiden’s POV: They kept looking at me while I revealed everything to them. “Aiden… Why didn’t you make her leave town before all this?” Mason asked me. “Because I had a hope. I hoped to make everything okay. I hoped to keep her protected and not let anyone find out about her. I hoped that I would be able to keep her secure here in this town and keep her near me because I couldn’t let her go but now I think that I cannot control everything. I have to make her leave town” I told them. “But Aiden will she leave?” Dylan asked me. “She has to, Dylan… Look, I tried to keep Sheena away from the truth that I love Emily so that she couldn’t tell this to Nathan and so I lied to her but I have no proof with me. What name am I going to take?” I said. “Mine… Because I did that. Why would you sacrifice everything for what I did?” Dylan argued. “No Dylan, shut up… They might kill you” I said. “I don’t care” He said loudly. “Well, I do…” I got louder. “And what do you think will happen when
Emily’s POV: I kept looking at him in shock as he wanted me to promise him that I would leave town. I couldn’t. No matter how hard I try to stay away from him or think that nothing can happen between us but I still end up sticking to what my heart feels. My heart wanted to be with him all the time. It wanted him to stay around me forever but it seemed that he wanted something else. I couldn’t believe him. I wanted him to tell me how much he loved me and how much he wanted me to be here with him but unfortunately he was saying the exact opposite of all that and I couldn’t help but let my tears down on my cheeks while he began to breathe heavily and gulped. I could see how hurt he was to say those things and to see me cry but still he was doing that I wanted to find out why. And when he was ready to tell me everything, he also put forward a condition which I couldn’t even think of agreeing to. “Emily, please, calm down…” He said and held my hand while I looked down and tried to hold
Aiden’s POV: I moved the car forward after Melissa went inside and we got to Emily’s house. “Wait there” I told her and got out of the car to get to her. Opening the car door, I offered my hand to her and she looked at me before reaching out to place her hand on mine and getting up. “Do you need my help?” Dylan asked me. “No… I’ll manage” I told him and placed my other hand on her waist to hold her tight and helping her to stand up properly. “Thanks” She said and looked at me while I didn’t reply and made her walk slowly towards the door. As I entered inside, I saw a broken vase near the door as one of my men told me. “So it is here…” I said and began to look at it. “How did you…?” She started and then bit her lip to stop herself from speaking any further. “You were going to ask me again…” I said and she nodded. “Yes but I suppose you don’t want to answer any of my questions” She said and sighed while I didn’t say anything. “Let’s get you to your room” I said, ignoring eve
Aiden’s POV: She kept looking at me in horror and I knew she had many questions in her mind but I couldn’t answer them until she was ready to promise me. I couldn’t tell her anything before being sure that she would leave the town because it wouldn’t be safe for her. “Aiden…” She managed to speak and got down on her bed, thinking about something. “Emily, you don’t need to be scared…” I said while walking towards her. “You are…” She breathed heavily and then added, “You are telling me not to leave my house and to keep the windows close and then you are suggesting to not be scared? Aiden, all this…” She looked around and shook her head while adding, “This is scary… And I am scared now” “I know but Emily, you need to understand one thing…” I started and held her hand to continue, “As long as I am alive, nothing will happen to you, I promise” “Is something going to happen to me?” She asked me nervously. I kept looking at her and then left her hand before stepping back. “Just leave
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at Sheena wondering what might happen when they’ll come to know about who that girl is. They were coming for Emily. They were going to find her and kill her to avenge me by not letting this curse be lifted because they might be thinking that I was going to get that curse lifted by using that girl and become an alpha. “Did – did they tell you who that girl is?” Dylan asked her. “No, and I think they don’t know that yet…” Sheena said and then looked at us suspiciously to add, “Do you know who that girl is?” “No… We are still finding her…” I said to her hastily and she began to nod. “Then please tell me who killed Earl? I am freaking out…” She said and held my hand while I rolled my eyes. “Why are you freaking out, huh? They are going to kill that girl who can lift the curse. They are going to take vengeance on me. What’s yours there to lose?” I asked her in frustration. “They will kill me…” She revealed fearfully with tears welling up in her eyes and
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
