Emily’s POV: I looked to my right while breathing heavily when the thing I saw just then, was shocking and made my blood run cold. I looked at Dylan whose eyes were glowing and it turned yellow afterwards. I couldn’t help but tremble in fear. As my eyes moved towards the left, I saw Mason and Lucas with their yellow glowing eyes and I trembled more but as my eyes moved to see the person I love, my heart stopped for a minute there. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Somewhere in my heart I had some doubts on him but deep down, I had a feeling that it might not be true. I hoped that the thing I was assuming doesn’t turn to be true. I hoped that everything stays normal in my life. I hoped that he proves me wrong. I hoped that my love for him stays there because it was the first time I fell in love with someone. I hoped that the person I fell in love with was a normal human being but that wasn’t true. He wasn’t normal. Instead he was a monster. He looked at me with his glowing yellow eyes and
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at her while she moved a little and murmured something which I couldn’t understand. “Emily…” I called her out and tapped on her cheek gently while she turned to her back again. She wasn’t responding to me and I kept looking at her anxiously. “Emily… Wake up” I called out to her again and gently moved her a little to make her open her eyes but she once again stopped moving and fainted. “Emily…” I called out louder when the door swung open and Dylan came in with Lucas and Mason. “What happened?” Dylan asked me immediately. “She fainted again… She was moving for a second and then she fainted again…” I said anxiously. Dylan immediately ran towards us and checked her pulse. “I don’t know what’s happening to her” I added while looking at Dylan. “It’s okay, she is fine… Her pulse rate is a little low…” He said and then turned to Lucas to add, “Luc, please ask Murray to send some juice or lemonade or something here…” “Yeah okay…” Lucas said and then called
Emily’s POV: It was getting dark as the sun was about to set while I walked deep into the woods. I was in search of something. I looked around the tall trees which looked scary and mysterious as if they were hiding some secrets. I walked ahead and saw some large bushes on the side which moved as a squirrel passed through them making me quiver. I took a step back gulping and then continued to walk forward while looking around for something. I couldn’t figure out what I was looking for but my heart was beating faster and I could feel it was something dangerous yet, I still continued to walk forward deeper and deeper into the dark woods when suddenly I heard a howl behind me and I turned around gasping for air. While breathing heavily, I looked far into the woods when suddenly, something jumped up on me and growled, making me scream. As it pinned me down on the ground, I saw up in the sky and moved and tried to get that thing away from me but it wasn’t leaving my hands and my body. It
Emily’s POV: “What – what are you saying?” I asked him anxiously while breathing heavily. He kept looking at me and then dragged me to the bed, making me sit down. “Please tell me, are you going to kill me?” I asked him fearfully while shaking and he held my hands firmly. “I am not going to kill you…” He said to me, looking straight into my eyes while I continued to breathe shakily. “Emily… I can never hurt you…” He added and I looked at him, wanting to believe him and trust him. “But I have to take some necessary steps to keep you, my friends and my pack safe…” He said and my heart skipped a beat when he said that word. I couldn’t believe he was an animal. “I will have to keep you here… Until you understand this that you can’t tell this to anyone…” He said and I began to shake my head to a no. “No, no, let me go…” I cried. “I am sorry…” He said and left my hand gently before walking towards the door. I ran behind him but he was quick enough to lock the door from the outside,
Emily’s POV: He kept looking at me as I said that to him. “What?” He asked me and I looked at him, gulping. “I can’t be with you anymore…” I repeated with a heavy heart. “But Emily…” He started. “Aiden, please…” I started and then sat up straight to add, “I understand that you are… Different… But I can’t be with you because our worlds are different too…” I said and got up from the bed and felt a little pain in my wounds. As I began to check it, he walked towards me and held my hand gently. “Is it still paining?” He asked me. “Um, a bit…” I said and took a breath. I knew he would never hurt me but after finding out his reality, I was feeling a little nervous around him. “Let me check it…” He said and began to look at it while I took my hand away from him, to his surprise. “I’ll – I’ll manage…” I said to him and then felt a little pain on my back. As I began to move a little, I added to him, “Is there a wound on the back too?” “Ah yes…” He said and stepped a little back while
Emily’s POV: I kept thinking about the half-moon tattoo on my back and it was bothering me. I never got a tattoo in my entire life. Melissa and Aria concluded that it was some kind of a birth mark but I had a feeling that it was something else. I took my fingers on my back and tried to touch it while looking at it in the mirror but couldn’t see it properly as it was on my spine. “Em… You ready?” Melissa called out from downstairs. “Yeah, just a second…” I called out loud and quickly got dressed in a skinny jeans and a white T – shirt. Brushing my hair and letting them loose on my shoulder, I headed out of the room and climbed down the stairs to see Melissa and Aria waiting by the kitchen counter. “Finally…” Melissa said and sighed. “What took you so long?” She asked. “I was getting dressed…” I said and shrugged as I reached them. “Let’s go to school” Aria said and I nodded before we got out of the house and hit the road. As we walked further, Aria turned and asked, “Actually,
Emily’s POV: **** Five Hours Ago **** I dragged Eric away from there because I knew Aiden was listening and it must be making him angry to see Eric constantly trying to persuade me. I didn’t want that because I thought he might have his wolf side come up due to that anger. “Emily, please…” Eric insisted from behind. “Eric…” I said and turned to him to add, “I cannot go with you…” “Why, Emily? Why can’t you…? Am I not good enough for you? Is there something bad about me?” He began to ask while I shook my head and sighed while he continued, “Do I not behave well with you? What is it?” “Eric, it’s nothing like that… I do like you. You’re a great guy. There is nothing wrong with you… But there is everything wrong with me…” I told him and added, “I – I don’t date when I don’t feel anything… It’s – it’s how I am… I never go on dates unless I am not feeling anything for that person. I cannot go on a date with you and pretend that I feel something for you. I don’t want to be like that
Emily’s POV: **** Two Hours Ago **** We reached the restaurant on time and met Aria and Oliver there. After ordering some food, we began to talk about random stuff and Eric talked to me like a friend and nothing more. He was good to talk to and funny but nothing in him was like Aiden. I kept comparing him to Aiden while listening to him and felt guilty for doing that. Eric was a good guy but I was being bad to him and this was bothering me. The dinner went great and we all stood up to get something to drink from the bar. While we ordered some cocktails and juices, Eric and Oliver didn’t realize when they got absolutely drunk. Melissa and Aria tried to handle Oliver while I stood with Eric as he was feeling nauseous. “How are you feeling, Eric?” I asked him while holding his hand. He gulped and started while bending his face down, “I – I need some fresh air, Emily…” “Um, okay, let’s go out…” I said to him and we walked outside the restaurant to get him some fresh air. While he w
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
