A week later...

Ruella in a wheelchair appeared in court facing Sofia restrained in handcuffs.

"You might succeed in putting me behind bars but you're coming with me!"

Sofia spat through her gritted teeth before she strode towards the defendant's seat.

Ruella, displaying an emotionless countenance was wheeled toward her seat as the session began.

Oliver, Tommy, and Joseph took different seats in the crowd but their eyes were solely focused on one person who was sitting in front of them with her private nurse by her side.

When Sofia's gaze fell on the man she loved, her eyes watered. He didn't even cast her a glance since he arrived and he seemed to gain friendship with those men whom he despised so much in the past.

She didn't know how but she was certain whom to blame thus she swore to the bottom of her heart that even if she didn't win the trial, she will bring the woman down with her.
