The jumbled words welcomed Tremont into the kid's room, seconds later tiny feet ran towards him.

He caught Ryan mid-air as he jumped, bringing forth more squeals and laughter. Ryan's laughter was contagious, Tremont found himself grinning as well.

"Someone missed me eh? "

"Me didn't miss you! " Ryan spoke, a scowl forming on his face as though he had just remembered he had to be upset.

"Is someone telling a lie? "

"Me didn't!! I'm angwy with you " Ryan spoke, scowling at his father, even though his words were still quite jumbled and childlike, Tremont could understand very much well.

In a few months, his son would turn three, he had grown so big that even he hadn't realized when Tremont could still remember the first time his miracle had been placed in his arms, that day would never be forgotten.
