CHAPTER FIFTY SIX

Tremont massaged his temples slowly, he had not been able to get a wink of sleep last night. He had sent Georgina to the hospital last night and had left only when the doctor had assured him that she was in no great danger. 

He felt guilt towards her but it had to be done, he could only hope that she would soon move on with her life and find the happiness that she deserved.

The sun was already bright outside was on his second cup of coffee when he decided to go check up on Ryan. He expected Ryan to still be fast asleep, he did not expect to find the room empty.  

He followed the sounds of laughter and found himself in the kitchen. Aurora seemed to be laughing at something Ryan said, she suddenly looked more youthful and enchanting, Tremont realized that this was the first time he'd seen her looking so carefree, she didn't look as though she had the burden of the world on her shoulders. The beautiful s
