CHAPTER SIXTY TWO

Aurora had put Ryan to sleep some hours ago but sleep evaded her. She couldn't help thinking about Tremont, today must have been very difficult for him.

She pushed aside the covers, thinking about him just wouldn't help, she thought as she slipped her feet into the flip-flop, she might as well check up on him.

She walked past the dimly lit hallway until she stood in front of the door of his bedroom. She continued to stare at the closed door, unknowing of what to do. For some reason, her heart rate increased and the hand which she raised to knock was trembling with nervousness.

What was wrong with her?

It wasn't as though she had other intentions but to make sure that he was fine.

She inhaled deeply before allowing herself to knock softly.
