CHAPTER THIRTY

Alexia’s POV

I wake up and do my usual morning routine but as I’m about to leave the house Ethan’s driver stops me

“Good morning, ma’am, my boss said I should be taking you to work and bringing you home” When did Ethan start caring about how I transported myself?

“Then who will drive him?” I ask knowing he wouldn’t give away his driver for me. that’s not how things work.

“I don’t know but I am in charge of you now ma’am,” he tells me. I don’t know how I feel about giving away my freedom but it does save me from spending so much money for Ubers. Now I am starting to feel like his wife.

I sigh but step into the vehicle, no need to argue with the poor driver. He doesn’t seem to like me much though, I guess he can join the queue of people who hate Alexia, the list keeps increasing.

I get to the office in no time, the driver is actually very efficient and he didn’t try to engage me in unnecessary small talk but as soon as I get into the office Bridget walks in.
