CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT

Alexia's POV

I am glad I dismissed Jeff after he dropped me off. I didn't know how long my talk with Stacey would be, and I hate to keep him waiting.

The maiden brook turned out to be more like a relaxation center. The environment was cozy and quiet. I even heard there is a swimming pool at the edge of the property. I chose a table beneath one of the bamboo trees, content with enjoying the feel of nature.

One of the staff placed a bottle of wine on my table. When I stopped him to inform him I had not yet ordered anything, he told me it was in the house, as it's their custom to give a first timer a bottle of wine.

I was surprised, what amazing customer service they have going on here. I am beginning to love this place just a bit more. I thanked him and decided to pour myself a glass of wine.

As I lift the glass to my lips, I see Stacey striding towards me, looking as beautiful as the last time I saw. She didn't even apply any makeup, yet she looks glamorous in her long flowery gown w
