Two women could be seen seated on a lavish imported couch.
One of them was Susannah, while the other was a lady dressed elegantly and fashionably.
Beautiful stoned shining heels were displayed on the table. Judging by the stone diamonds, one could easily tell that that piece of accessory was crafted using the highest quality materials. A diamond heel like that was worth more than a million.
Natasha had deliberately brought that item to pay her respects to her future mother-in-law.
Susannah wore a friendly smile as she mutters, “You’re so thoughtful, Natasha. I wasn't expecting such an expensive gift from you.”
She sized up Natasha admiringly. Natasha is the daughter of Luckman a highly capable businessman and the face of the socialites in this city. Natasha's career has recently thrived, and she has successfully upgraded her status to an A-list celebrity Model. She’s beautiful and equipped with great etiquette. All of her excellent traits fulfilled the standards of the daughter-in-law Susannah had in mind.
In contrast, Susannah had been displeased her only son isn't married yet and with his sickness, she became overly exhausted.
“Mrs. Zachary, did you say Tristan is having an allergy to women?” Natasha asked surprised upon learning about it. She has waited so many years for this moment.
Susannah flashed a meaningful grin, patted the back of Natasha’s hand, and whispered, “You don't have to worry dear, he has received treatment overseas so I'm sure he's cured of his illness. Tristan doesn’t have any issues getting intimate with a woman now.”
“That’s good news!”Natasha's beamed as her hope had been rekindled.
Natasha couldn’t help but feel the gods were helping her.
Susannah could tell the thoughts going through Natasha’s mind, so she suggested, “Why don’t we head to Tristan's home, so we could all have a meal together? It’s been so long since you two last met. You can seize this opportunity to catch up and improve your relationship with him.”
“Sure, Ma'am!” Natasha grinned from ear to ear.
Her heart fluttered when she imagined reuniting with the exceptionally handsome Tristan.

There was a knock on the door, the housekeeper quickly opened the door when she noticed it was Mrs Susannah.
"Good day Ma'am" The housekeeper greeted.
"Where's my son?"She asked sassily ignoring her greetings.
He's in the main living room, Ma'am." The housekeeper replied with her head bow
Susannah and Natasha entered the living room, Susannah was extremely shocked to see her son clinging to an unknown Lady. She couldn't hold in her anger as she shouted angrily, "Who's this, Tristan? Mrs. Susannah yelled at her son.
"Mom I don't get why you came to my house ranting.
Mrs. Susannah was Gobsmacked.
“who's this shameless woman? Why are you here?”
Jasmine was immediately alarmed. She sluggishly got up from the couch as she shifted away from Tristan's embrace.
“Why am I here? Ma'am, I think you should ask your son that question.” Jasmine uttered politely as she tried exiting the house but Tristan held her back immediately.
"What do you think you're doing, Tristan? How can you mingle with this low-life bi*ch?" Mrs. Susannah yelled furiously. She just can't believe her son would stoop so low as to have something with a poor, dirty girl.
"Mom, I won't have you come to my house and rain insult on my visitor! what gave you that right to feel you'd come here and rant?" Tristan growled as he stared daggers at his surprised Mom.
Mrs. Susannah couldn't come to terms with the fact that her son would speak to her in that manner just for a lady.
"Tristan! How dare you? How dare you speak to me in this manner all for this cheap girl? I'm your mother and I deserve some respect!" Susannah yelled pissed off.
"Yes! you deserve some respect, same implies to My visitor. You have no right to lay abuses on her when you know nothing about her!" Tristan yelled his voice sounding so intimidating.
Natasha watched the mother and son exchanging words as she smiled inwardly. It was a great sight to behold and she didn't plan to intervene. At least, Her soon to be mother in law should help her fight into her son's heart.
"What's there to know about her, Tristan? Can't you see her cheap clothes and disarranged hair? Isn't it obvious she's a poor gold digger? She's only here to reap off your money and I won't let her succeed! I'm your mother and you have to listen to me!" Mrs. Susannah said in disgust.
Jasmine felt her heart crumbling at Mrs. Susannah's words. Fighting back her tears, She muttered " I'm not a gold digger and would never be one ma'am. Me being here in the first place because I was brought here by your son against my wish. I may look poor to you, but I won't depend on someone else's money. I would love you to take back your words!" Jasmine said in a frightening tone.
Mrs. Susannah chuckled as she found Jasmine's words quite ridiculous.
"The nerves! How dare you ask me to take back my words? Who the hell do you think you are to talk to me in such a manner?" Mrs. Susannah growled and landed a resounding slap on her fair cheap.
"Susannah!" Tristan roared in anger as he called his mom by her first name with his veins pumped out of his skin.
Mrs. Susannah was immediately frightened by her son's roar.
"How dare you lay your fingers on her, Susannah? If this should happen next time, I'll forget you're my mother! Please see yourselves out." Tristan gritted out.
Natasha saw this as an opportunity to speak out. She felt Tristan doesn't recognize her anymore due to the way he had ignored her presence.
"Tristan, I know it's been a long we last saw each other, It's me Natasha and I think you don't have to treat your Mom in such a manner all for a lady," Natasha uttered acting all nice.
"This is my family's issue and I'll advise a stranger not to poke their nose," Tristan said with a scoff. "You both should Get out of my house this minute" Tristan growled trying hard to conceal his anger.
Without saying another word, Mrs. Susannah glared hard at Jasmine before storming out with Natasha behind her.
The moment the duo walked out of the house with Natasha sending a despised glare at Jasmine, Jasmine immediately knew coming to Tristan's house in the first place was a huge mistake."Mr. Tristan, I think I've overstayed my welcome. Please don't come searching for me anymore." Jasmine mumbled as she instantly scurried out of his house before he could stop her. Arriving outside the huge gate, Jasmine let out a breath she didn't know she's been holding. She flags down a cab to the Gomez Mansion. The gatekeeper opened the gate as she strolled into the huge compound ending for the main door to the living room. On walking in, Jasmine's eyes collide with the packed Rolling Box that looks like hers. Taking her gaze to the eyes glaring hard at her, she couldn't help but ask. "What the hell is going on here? what is my luggage doing down here?" Jasmine asked trying not to yell at the six pairs of eyes glaring at her. "What does it look like, Jasmine? Don't you think is the right time for y
Jasmine gazed at him dumbstruck. How could he ask them to get a contract marriage of three good years?"Tristan, I can't have a contract marriage with you," Jasmine uttered after a while of silence between them. "And why can't you, Jasmine? I won't go back on my words if you don't find me worthy of you." Tristan said trying to make her succumb to his offer. "It's not all about you, Tristan! What about your family? Your Mother, she doesn't seem to like me. She called me a gold digger, Tristan." Jasmine Uttered as this was bothering her. "You and I know you're not a Gold digger! As for my mother, you have nothing to worry about. After all, she doesn't live with me which means, you both would rarely cross paths with each other." Jasmine scoffs... "Just because she doesn't live in the same house with you doesn't guarantee her accepting me. I don't wish to make this marriage deal with you, Tristan." Jasmine said sternly and immediately tried walking off but, Tristan was quick to hold
Jasmine couldn't believe she'd just signed in her death sentence just like that. how could she say something so stupid as that? She gave in to his whims so easily and allowed him to bully and pressure her into accepting this nonsense! what exactly is she going to do with her life now? She has no idea, as she sat back in frustration."Uhmm Miss Jasmine, forgive me for intruding and disturbing you but, you should follow me into the guest room, you might want to take a rest," the maid said, as her face fell. she couldn't believe they are already giving her a room in his house."Can't I just stay here instead? I will just wait for Tristan, I still need to speak with him, we are not done yet with our discussion" Jasmine said to the maid, ignoring her offer. She has already made the mistake of agreeing to his rubbish request, and she will only further ruin things if she follows her into the room. It's just the same as accepting to be his wife, but didn't she just agree? She scolded herself
Jasmine walked up to the truck to check whatever it is that is inside, she didn't know exactly what to do but she knows that this is her escape plan for sure, she just need to find a way to get these bodyguards off her back, they are behaving like flies and are starting to really irritate her already."I need a chair, I like it here and oh I forgot to take my phone, I will really like to take pictures, so one of you get me a chair, and the other person should get me my phone and please grab a cup of cold juice from the kitchen on your way back, I really need it I'm so thirsty" she said to them, pretending as though she want to pass out. They both have no choice but to succumb to her command, they should not be on her blacklist, this is a really red flag, she's as bossy as the boss.Seeing that they were already on their way inside, Jasmine looked at the driver and inside the truck as well, it seems to be quite empty, she will definitely fit into this place."Umm Mr, please can you do
Jasmine stood there with her hopes up, finally the train stopped right in front of her, and she stayed in line waiting for her to turn to get in, but then suddenly the train closed it's doors, and some of the authorities came down."We are sorry, but this train will not be leaving anymore, everyone please just calm down, we will return each and everybody's money, we are so sorry for the delay" a woman said."But that's not fair, we have places that we have planned to be, you can't just tell us to leave, this is all shades of wrong" one of the passengers said."Yes" every other person agreed, saying in unison, Jasmine really can't place it, but she feels like something is wrong, and someone is behind the whole thing, how come it's the day that she wants to get into the train, that it stops working. She have a really bad feeling about all of this, she would have to look for another way around this, she can't stay in this city for so long, Tristan will definitely find her.She stepped fo
The next morning, Jasmine woke up to something that looks like a store, they had come here last night, they arrived quite late, she still met the bodyguards that were supposed to be guarding or protecting her, they were still on their knees, begging for their lives. She was still busy, trying to figure out what in the world is going on, when she heard a knock on the door."Come in" she said after making sure that she's not naked, or exposed, she has a feeling that the person knocking on the door, is no other person but Tristan, and of course he tuned out to be the one."What do you want?" she asked him, she really doesn't want to see his face right now, she just wants to be alone."This is my room" Tristan said."Alright then, I will just leave" she said and started to find a way out of bed."Of course that's not what I mean, I just came to see how you are doing, and also pick some things" he said."Shouldn't you be at work?" Jasmine asked"Uhmm no, I won't be going to work today, not
Jasmine is already feeling dizzy from all the preparation that has been going on since this morning.Yes, she vowed that she will not follow Tristan to the so-called ball. But just look at her she's doing the exact opposite.Very soon she will be free from all of these. It's just three years anyways."Can I at least take a seat? I'm starting to feel dizzy." Jasmine complained."Just a little bit more. I'm sure that you can endure. We don't have much time till the ball, we can't afford to waste time if not you will be getting there late." the lady trying out the dress on her said.Tristan had brought the woman here earlier this morning. He said she would be the one to help her with dressing up for the ball. Rich people can be so problematic. She has been trying out different gowns. And the woman is yet to find the one that she likes, how crazy."Stop." they both heard Tristan's voice from the door. Oh, gosh he's so authoritative."I'm so sorry Mr. Tristan. I'm almost done with dressing
Jasmine had no idea what was going on. The next thing that she knew is Tristan standing right in front of her."Are you okay Natasha?" Tristan said defending Jasmine."Tristan you don't understand. This low-life bitch is nothing but a thief, she stole the dress that she's wearing and she did that just to impress you." Natasha complained. She had initially thought that the dress was a fake one. But coming closer, it seems too real to be fake. That could only mean that she stole it.She had no idea how she stole that gown from a high-class store but, that is definitely what happened. There is no way that this bitch has $2 million to purchase that gown."You know you should just go back to your parents and not cause a scene. Don't get me mad." Tristan said, trying his best to keep his voice down."And what exactly is going on here?" Mrs. Zachary showed up. She has been watching the scene from afar and she would not let any opportunity slip by to humiliate this girl. She can't even stand
