The huge glass door pave way slowly revealing Jasmine. She had knocked earlier and was ushered in. She took slow strides towards his table with her head down.
She has never seen the boss nor entered his office. The first time she saw him was at the reception, where she works. She has to be in her best behavior, so she won't loose her job.
"Good morning sir". She greeted with a slight bow and he nod.
He stared at her for some minutes while her heartbeats increased with so many questions lingering in her head.
"What's your name?". He finally asked.
"Jasmine". She replied fearfully.
"Do I look like a fierce animal? Or is there any weapon here with me?". He asked and she shook her head sideways.
"Tell me about yourself". He demanded.
Right from when he entered the building, he recognized her to be the girl from the bar and he summoned her presence in his office for some certain reasons.
She stood like a psycho wondering where to start from. She scratched her hair furiously while he took note of every of her movement.
"Were you at the bar last night?". He suddenly asked and she froze.
"How did he know? Was he also present? Will he get me fired if I tell him the truth?". She wondered roaming her eyes around.
She really wants to forget what happened last night when she couldn't remember the person's face but here is her boss questioning her about it.
"No sir". She replied and he raised a brow.
"Really?". He asked again and she nod.
"Nothing happened right?". He asked.
"He didn't see that or did he? God! Why is he asking me this embarrassing questions? I don't want to loose my job". She cried inwardly
"Leave!". He muttered leaning his back on his chair with his eyes closed.
She bow slightly before running out of his office, she got outside and released the breath she never knew she was holding.
She raised her head only to see all the workers eyes on that floor piercing her skin. She maintained good posture and left avoiding their gaze.

Davis came in almost immediately Jasmine left, Tristan with his eyes closed sighed deeply.
"Boss". Davis called to notify him of him presence.
"That girl! Gather every information about her before the close of today". Tristan ordered with his eyes shut.
"On it boss". Davis said and walked out of his office.

Jasmine returned to the reception and they flooded her table grinning. She picked a book and covered her head with it to avoid silly questions from her co-workers.
"Did you guys do anything fun". The fourth lady asked and that made her drop the book.
"Really? Is that what you have left in your brain? If he had proposed that to you, would you give in?". Jasmine asked almost yelling.
"Why not? He looks so hot to take anywhere". The fourth replied shamelessly.
"You're unbelievable!". Jasmine snapped before taking her seat.
The rest of them threw many questions at her but none of their questions did she reply. She has her own problems to solve and answering them is a very stupid thing to do.

Jasmine stretched and yawned tiredly as she arranged her table. She picked up her bag and left without saying a word to any of them to so as to avoid their silly questions.

Davis rushed in with a blue file and met him standing before the glass staring at nothing in particular with his hands in his pocket.
One could get a clearer view of the surroundings from that spot and various light from different buildings made the street very colorful.
"What took you so long?". Tristan finally asked without turning to look at him even though curiosity is eating him deep.
"I'm sorry boss". Davis replied scooting closer to him.
"Here is her details". Davis said handing him the file before leaving the office.
Tristan hurriedly opened it to feed his eyes with it scaling through every page. He smirked and walked out with the file.

Jasmine got home pretty late, she jammed a huge traffic while returning and that gave her stepmum reasons to nag at her.
"The last time I checked, work ends 5pm". Her stepmum fired.
"There was a terrible traffic while returning". Jasmine replied in a soft tone.
"To whom does that explanation concerns?" She yelled but Jasmine said nothing.
"Who do you leave the night meals for? This is your f**king responsibility!! How many times do I have to tell you that!!!!!!". She screamed on the top of her voice.
"But there are maids in the......"
She was cut short when her step mum landed a resounding slap on her face. She staggered backwards holding her face tight. She winced in pain as the slap stung her.
"The maids has nothing to do here. This should be the last time I'd remind you of your f**king duties!! Poor thing!!!". She spat and stormed upstairs.
Jasmine dropped her bag and scurried to the kitchen to prepare dinner for the whole family.

The Gomez sat round the dining table with Jasmine who worked her ass out. The doorbell rang and a maid rushed to open the door.
"Who is there?". Mr Gomez asked.
"He is from the Zachary's family". The maid said and their so called daughter, Jasmine's stepsister adjusted on the chair dolling her face with her hand.
"What are you waiting for? Let him in". Mr Gomez ordered and they all stood to their feet while Tristan stepped in looking breathtaking as usual.
He ran his eyes around the sitting room hoping to catch a glimpse of Jasmine. Mr Gomez walked up to him and they exchanged pleasantries not excluding Mrs Gomez.
"Do join us for dinner". Mr Gomez offered but he waved it off.
"I'm in a hurry, I'm here for your daughter". Tristan said and Jasmine's stepsister, Cassandra blushed adjusting her skirt.
"Oh! Here she is". Mr Gomez said pointing at Cassandra.
He turned and met Cassandra smiling at him and he felt disgusted just by her smile.
"Not this one". Tristan said and her face fell.
"Honey, do we have another daughter asides her?". Mrs Gomez asked.
"This is the only daughter we have Mr Zachary". Mr Gomez said.
"Just what I was expecting". He said inwardly with a smirk plastered on his face.
Jasmine was done in the kitchen, she wiped off the bids of sweat on her face and walked out of the kitchen with her food in her hands.
She took few spoons on her way out, she froze when she heard a familiar voice. She looked up and beheld her boss staring at her.
She coughed lightly hiding her food behind her as she stylishly looked away, feeling so nervous. Curiosity has taken over her completely as she wondered what he came for.
"I'm here for her and I'm returning with her". Tristan said pointing at Jasmine who raised her head sharply.
Two women could be seen seated on a lavish imported couch. One of them was Susannah, while the other was a lady dressed elegantly and fashionably. Beautiful stoned shining heels were displayed on the table. Judging by the stone diamonds, one could easily tell that that piece of accessory was crafted using the highest quality materials. A diamond heel like that was worth more than a million. Natasha had deliberately brought that item to pay her respects to her future mother-in-law. Susannah wore a friendly smile as she mutters, βYouβre so thoughtful, Natasha. I wasn't expecting such an expensive gift from you.β She sized up Natasha admiringly. Natasha is the daughter of Luckman a highly capable businessman and the face of the socialites in this city. Natasha's career has recently thrived, and she has successfully upgraded her status to an A-list celebrity Model. Sheβs beautiful and equipped with great etiquette. All of her excellent traits fulfilled the standards of the daughter-i
The moment the duo walked out of the house with Natasha sending a despised glare at Jasmine, Jasmine immediately knew coming to Tristan's house in the first place was a huge mistake."Mr. Tristan, I think I've overstayed my welcome. Please don't come searching for me anymore." Jasmine mumbled as she instantly scurried out of his house before he could stop her. Arriving outside the huge gate, Jasmine let out a breath she didn't know she's been holding. She flags down a cab to the Gomez Mansion. The gatekeeper opened the gate as she strolled into the huge compound ending for the main door to the living room. On walking in, Jasmine's eyes collide with the packed Rolling Box that looks like hers. Taking her gaze to the eyes glaring hard at her, she couldn't help but ask. "What the hell is going on here? what is my luggage doing down here?" Jasmine asked trying not to yell at the six pairs of eyes glaring at her. "What does it look like, Jasmine? Don't you think is the right time for y
Jasmine gazed at him dumbstruck. How could he ask them to get a contract marriage of three good years?"Tristan, I can't have a contract marriage with you," Jasmine uttered after a while of silence between them. "And why can't you, Jasmine? I won't go back on my words if you don't find me worthy of you." Tristan said trying to make her succumb to his offer. "It's not all about you, Tristan! What about your family? Your Mother, she doesn't seem to like me. She called me a gold digger, Tristan." Jasmine Uttered as this was bothering her. "You and I know you're not a Gold digger! As for my mother, you have nothing to worry about. After all, she doesn't live with me which means, you both would rarely cross paths with each other." Jasmine scoffs... "Just because she doesn't live in the same house with you doesn't guarantee her accepting me. I don't wish to make this marriage deal with you, Tristan." Jasmine said sternly and immediately tried walking off but, Tristan was quick to hold
Jasmine couldn't believe she'd just signed in her death sentence just like that. how could she say something so stupid as that? She gave in to his whims so easily and allowed him to bully and pressure her into accepting this nonsense! what exactly is she going to do with her life now? She has no idea, as she sat back in frustration."Uhmm Miss Jasmine, forgive me for intruding and disturbing you but, you should follow me into the guest room, you might want to take a rest," the maid said, as her face fell. she couldn't believe they are already giving her a room in his house."Can't I just stay here instead? I will just wait for Tristan, I still need to speak with him, we are not done yet with our discussion" Jasmine said to the maid, ignoring her offer. She has already made the mistake of agreeing to his rubbish request, and she will only further ruin things if she follows her into the room. It's just the same as accepting to be his wife, but didn't she just agree? She scolded herself
Jasmine walked up to the truck to check whatever it is that is inside, she didn't know exactly what to do but she knows that this is her escape plan for sure, she just need to find a way to get these bodyguards off her back, they are behaving like flies and are starting to really irritate her already."I need a chair, I like it here and oh I forgot to take my phone, I will really like to take pictures, so one of you get me a chair, and the other person should get me my phone and please grab a cup of cold juice from the kitchen on your way back, I really need it I'm so thirsty" she said to them, pretending as though she want to pass out. They both have no choice but to succumb to her command, they should not be on her blacklist, this is a really red flag, she's as bossy as the boss.Seeing that they were already on their way inside, Jasmine looked at the driver and inside the truck as well, it seems to be quite empty, she will definitely fit into this place."Umm Mr, please can you do
Jasmine stood there with her hopes up, finally the train stopped right in front of her, and she stayed in line waiting for her to turn to get in, but then suddenly the train closed it's doors, and some of the authorities came down."We are sorry, but this train will not be leaving anymore, everyone please just calm down, we will return each and everybody's money, we are so sorry for the delay" a woman said."But that's not fair, we have places that we have planned to be, you can't just tell us to leave, this is all shades of wrong" one of the passengers said."Yes" every other person agreed, saying in unison, Jasmine really can't place it, but she feels like something is wrong, and someone is behind the whole thing, how come it's the day that she wants to get into the train, that it stops working. She have a really bad feeling about all of this, she would have to look for another way around this, she can't stay in this city for so long, Tristan will definitely find her.She stepped fo
The next morning, Jasmine woke up to something that looks like a store, they had come here last night, they arrived quite late, she still met the bodyguards that were supposed to be guarding or protecting her, they were still on their knees, begging for their lives. She was still busy, trying to figure out what in the world is going on, when she heard a knock on the door."Come in" she said after making sure that she's not naked, or exposed, she has a feeling that the person knocking on the door, is no other person but Tristan, and of course he tuned out to be the one."What do you want?" she asked him, she really doesn't want to see his face right now, she just wants to be alone."This is my room" Tristan said."Alright then, I will just leave" she said and started to find a way out of bed."Of course that's not what I mean, I just came to see how you are doing, and also pick some things" he said."Shouldn't you be at work?" Jasmine asked"Uhmm no, I won't be going to work today, not
Jasmine is already feeling dizzy from all the preparation that has been going on since this morning.Yes, she vowed that she will not follow Tristan to the so-called ball. But just look at her she's doing the exact opposite.Very soon she will be free from all of these. It's just three years anyways."Can I at least take a seat? I'm starting to feel dizzy." Jasmine complained."Just a little bit more. I'm sure that you can endure. We don't have much time till the ball, we can't afford to waste time if not you will be getting there late." the lady trying out the dress on her said.Tristan had brought the woman here earlier this morning. He said she would be the one to help her with dressing up for the ball. Rich people can be so problematic. She has been trying out different gowns. And the woman is yet to find the one that she likes, how crazy."Stop." they both heard Tristan's voice from the door. Oh, gosh he's so authoritative."I'm so sorry Mr. Tristan. I'm almost done with dressing
