"What the- Old man!" I shouted seriously and ran to him.

The arrow pierced straight right into his heart. What am I supposed to do? I don't want to witness anymore death in front of me. I can't.

"Old man, hang in there!" I said as I tried to stop the bleeding.

"G-Go... Hurry!" the old man pushed me insistent.

"What?! No! What are you talking about? You need help!" I frowned and continued to stop his bleeding by putting pressure on the wound.

"Kid... Get out... of here... NOW!" the old man yelled as he tried to catch his breath.

"O-Old man." Ken'ichi mumbled as the clouds covering the sun moved that made the sunlight revealed his hands dipped on the old man's flowing blood.

"Oh, sorry about that. I didn't mean to fail hitting two person in one arrow. I must've underestimated my skills." a girl laughed that made me look around.

There, a girl holding a bow was revealed from the opened gates. She is covered in a revealed dark black suit like those men we saw at the Silver Lake last time.

"Wait here, old man. I will avenge you."

I carefully laid the old man's body on the ground and stood up.

"YOU!"

"Shesh! Boy, you look pathetic with that tiny old man behind you." she laughed as she held her bow confidently.

The Pointers.

"I know he is a tiny old man but that doesn't mean you can insult him!"

"Oi!" the old man reacted.

The girl just smiled annoyingly. The old man reacted, he's still not dead. I'm glad!

(Of course not, you brat!)

"You're one of the Pointers, aren't you?"

"Ah, so you've heard about the Organization huh? It's nice to meet you." she smiled and made a bow like a princess.

What's wrong with her?

I thought the Pointers are only hunting the infected ones? Why is she attacking us?

and..

What's with that outfit?

"Y-You...! You killed the old man who made me laugh just a while ago when I was feeling miserable!"

"I'm still alive, you brat!" the old man coughed.

I gripped my sister's spear so tightly that the handle may snap in a moment. I'm mad. I'm mad at people who take lives for granted. As if is like a sport for them to enjoy. It's no fun at all.

"Just so you know, I don't want to hit girls so please stop this." 

Hopefully, she'll reconsider attacking us.

"That's nice of you. But..." she grasped her bow that switch into some sort of sword and begun to attack.

I guess not.

"You're too soft." she grinned as she passed through me like a wind.

So fast! If I didn't manage to notice her pace, she might've slashed my belly already.

If she continues to attack at this speed, she will probably cut me into pieces in just a flash!

"Wow, you're so reflexive I like it." The girl complimented and grinned at me.

"Well, I exercise a lot. Thank you for the compliment. But I beg you to stop attacking us!" I said that caused the girl to laugh.

What a psycho. What's wrong with her? Does she think being bad makes her attractive?

Think of something, Ken'ichi! Think how to escape from this psycho lady! Escape or you're going to die a VIRGIN!

"Hmm... What's your name by the way? I want to know."

I feel like my brain paused for a moment.

Wait, what?

"Huh? You attack someone you don't even know?!" I asked unbelievably.

"What?" the girl glared at me.

Eek! She's scary as hell!

"I-I... I don't know either." I uttered mindlessly not knowing whether to state my name or not.

"Hmph! Then die!"

The girl held her weapon again and charged at an unbelievable speed.

"K-Ken'ichi! My name is Saito Ken'ichi! Saito Ken'ichi is my name!"

As the girl charged forward at an unbelievable speed, Ken'ichi startled and was so shocked that he didn't even know what to do.

"W-W-WAIT!"

Suddenly, I felt someone jump right in front of me.

A man with dark blue hair wearing a traditional clothes holding a traditional sword.

Their weapons clashed hardly that it even made a little spark.

Ken'ichi fell down on the ground as he was saved when he thought he was about to die. (as a virgin...)

"You...! Who are you to interrupt!" the girl backed down.

"Who I am? Hm... Why don't you introduce yourself first. I'm a gentleman, you see. Lady's first." the guy said pointing his sword to the girl.

"Ha! What made you think I would tell my name to someone like you?"

"Then the same rule goes for you, little miss." the guy sarcastically smiled.

I noticed that the girl was so pissed off as she continued to talk with the guy who just arrived.

Just who is this guy?

"Tell me, miss. Am I outdated?" he suddenly asked that made the girl look at him with what-the-hell-are-you-talking-about look.

Yeah, what are you- ah... I get it.

"Aren't you cold with those outfit of yours? I mean, winter is just around the corner but it looks like you just came from a tropical region."

"Oh, damn." I chuckled that made the girl look at me in my direction.

I think I should shut up.

"Excuse me, you just said what?" although smiling, her anger is noticeable in the tone of her voice.

"Sorry, I didn't know you are deaf too."

And there, the girl's head pop out of anger.

Just kidding.

"Y-YOU!"

I quickly hid behind the cool guy to avoid dying a virgin as the girl charged at us.

Damn. If I were to answer Rezu-nee like that, even as a joke, she would make sure I prepared my death bed already.

"RINA! Stop!"

I looked up immediately when someone shouted at the pillar of some part of our house that isn't burned to the ground completely from yesterday.

He is also wearing a dark black suit and has a weapon just like the girl. He's obviously a subordinate of the girl.

Wait, is he a back-up?! 

"It's time to go." he said.

Ah, I guess not. He's just here to fetch this rampaging girl.

"Tch!" the girl glared at us one last time and followed her subordinate.

The other guy paused for a moment then looked back once again. "We shall meet again, Yūgi." then disappeared.

Yūgi? That's that name of this cool man that prevented me from dying a virgin? Nice!

*Sigh*

Thankfully, I'm out of danger. I really thought I would die a virgin out there.

After the Pointers went away, the man named Yūgi walked pass me and kneeled down to the old man.

"I-I'm sorry..." I just apologize not knowing what to say. I don't know who the old man is but it might be my fault why he got shot though.

He didn't utter anything and just silently examined the body of the old man.

"W-Who are you?" I asked out of nowhere even though I heard his name just a minute ago.

He's still silent.

"I-I just want to thank you... from while ago... for saving me."

He took a glance at me then returned his vision at the old man.

"You were targeted by them. Why?"

"I-I don't know." I answered and looked down.

I think I know why the Pointers are targeting me or us but I don't want to tell him that, of course. It is considered a big sin in this country if you didn't report someone infected to be annihilated by the Pointers that's why I don't want to talk.

He stayed silent for a while again but I can feel his intimidating aura circulating his domain. Then he stood up, he brushed his clothes, and walked straight somewhere.

"W-Where are you..."

Only then I realized that he went straight to mother's detached place. It was on great fire yesterday but the rain poured right before the fire ate it totally.

Oh no...
