Asher's Point Of View

Ryker and I were moving fast, racing through one of the forests in Seattle. This was the fastest route to get to Beacon Fall. It was almost the outskirts of Seattle.

We had obviously wasted so much time already, scouring through every nook and cranny of Redmond, searching for Cirilla, with no luck at all. Theo, Julia, Malia, Carl, Eric, and warriors from the Crescent Moon Pack had already spread out to other cities, in case she was no longer in Redmond. But that wasn't the case. She was there. A vampire informant had reached out to Cameron. We had no idea how she was even able to track the place, but she was there. Even as we were moving as fast as we could, I wished we could go faster.

Our gargantuan paws hammer into the earth as we sped by trunks, and leaped over obstacles. I felt so close to finding her, yet still so far. Restless and angry and felt an anguish I had never felt before.

As the sun bloomed over the horizon, I knew Theo, Julia and the rest of t

CARSON CITY, NEVADA.(WISCON PALACE)Cameron's Point Of ViewIt didn't work.I was standing right in front of her with my hands clutched around the bed frame and my eyes closed. I only pulled my eyes open when I heard the footfalls of the witches and Benjamin retreated down the hall.My dark gaze lifted to my mate. We had moved her to one of the rooms at the witches’ quarters in Wiscon, and unfortunately, her condition has not improved one bit.The only constant change was the unsteady glowing crystal right next to her that belonged to that bloody witch, Cyrene. With a rough exhausted exhale, I reached for the windows to close them when I caught a faint outline of tonight's full moon and the mighty power radiating off it.I was jolted from my thoughts by the ringing of my phone. As soon as I saw Asher's name on the screen, I brought it to my ears."Talk to me," "Jace was right. She was here in Beacon Fall," There was a string of bitter emotion in his voice, and soon it found its way

Cirilla's Point of ViewThe magic around me caught my attention, and a blurry light covered my vision. As soon as the light died, silence filled the air. I was still in the temple, but there was no Kali, and I was staring at what seemed like a thousand years ago. There were several women around, all dressed in strange clothes and chanting in a language I couldn't understand. A woman with a small, strange mark on her wrist was performing some kind of spell on the woman in labor. But the magic that bled in the air was powerful. As I moved around, they couldn't see me. It was an ancient memory of how it all started. The cries of babies startled me as they filled the cave. Twins. A baby boy and a girl. And then the surroundings changed. I didn't know where I found myself, but I was in the middle of a meadow where several dead bodies of children lay on the ground with the pyramid symbol etched on their foreheads in blood. Like in my dreams. Before I could move a muscle, my surroundings cha

Davina's Point Of ViewThis place, Ardgal, was already in utter ruins. The smell of blood and death soaked the earth, desecrating every essence of pure magic. All I could feel was the darkness rushing within them. A few of our warriors, Theo and his team, and Asher and his were here already fighting against the dark ones, but I couldn't find her. I filtered through the chaos around, searching for her until I felt the powerful, yet familiar magic like I once did eight years ago when I got my magic back and it carried a painful scream.Immediately, I dashed off at speed and arrived in the middle of a disaster. The destruction in the earth was spreading fast like vines everywhere and throughout the whole of the town. It wasn't hard to find her, she was almost in the middle of this madness. Broken. Lost. And completely alone. The sight completely broke me.There was a sharp painful tearing in my chest. It was deep and hurting. It was worse than I had experienced for the last eighteen year

Cirilla's Point Of View“Are you sure you are feeling a hundred percent alright?” Came Lyra's voice, and the same question almost everyone in the room had asked me, including Julia. That was shocking. But not as shocking and nerve-wracking as what I was currently feeling.I was at the Crescent Moon Pack. Right here in the home of the Alpha King and Queen. Exactly what I wanted. To get answers. But unfortunately, I don't feel the satisfying feeling. It felt like everything had gone wrong. Kali was dead. Mason was out there, alive. Inevitably searching for his powers and I was a second from having the worst panic attack of my life about to face the Alpha and his mate. The man I'd always seen in the picture that was hidden in Jasmine’s drawer. The man I had resented for abandoning me, and the woman I had always been in my dreams. I had known her before even realizing who she was to me. They were my parents. That word sent a strange emotion to stir within me and my eyes were now drenched

Cameron's point of viewAs I watched Asher leave my office, I felt more at peace. And I was thankful that he was the one the moon goddess had chosen for my princess.“That went well,” My favorite person walked in, her blue eyes sparkling with relief as she shut the door behind her.She sauntered around the desk and settled into my lap. “What did you think I'd do?” I wrapped my arms around her waist, burying my face in the crook of her neck. I could never get enough of her scent.“For starters, scare him to death.” She chuckled softly, and it was a sound of music to my ears while she ran her delicate fingers through my hair.“Believe me, I tried. But he didn't budge. That kid has changed greatly.” I had felt that earlier, but I couldn't figure out exactly how until now. And I wasn't talking only about his new Alpha aura. His other half has awakened.“How's our daughter?”Davina inhaled, pulling away only a little to meet my gaze. “She's with her friends. Rhona and Dr. Vera had checked

Cameron's Point of ViewSilence flooded the court as everyone settled in their seats. It was a small circle of friends we had fought side by side and now call family. We had called an urgent meeting within the pack to bring everyone up to speed on the new situation and discuss what to do next.It was barely up to twenty-four since we got our little girl back, but the news had spread faster than a wildfire. Ever since the prophecy leaked out from the walls of the Council, my daughter has become a target for many. The pack borders have always been heavily guarded, and though I knew no one was stupid enough to bring some trouble unless they were seeking death, I still had some reservations about the Council.Everyone was scared, and I didn't blame them. The rate at which more ranking officials have been dying the last few days has increased by triple, but there was no way we could ever beat this darkness if we didn't stay on the same page, and they finally understood that there was no wa

Asher's Point Of ViewHaving to leave her once again was killing me on the inside. I didn't want to be even a second away from her. Not now, of all times, when I just got her back. For the sake of everyone within those doors, this better be worth my time.I heard Ryker growl within the corner walls of my mind, but Azalea strangely kept quiet.I sauntered into the court, expecting to walk into one of the Conclave meetings. But instead, I found only Daemon seated in the Courtroom, going through a pile of files. My eyes narrowed on Daemon at the head of the table, and his obsidian eyes lifted to me. They seemed troubled and worried. This was serious.I walked closer to one of the empty seats at the table.“You wanted me here,” I said, settling on the seat, my voice breaking through the silence.Daemon cleared his throat, his eyes swiftly sweeping through papers in his hands as he dropped them back into the file.“And I'm glad you came. I know you'd prefer to be next to your mate instead

Cirilla's Point Of View There was no way I could stop moving restlessly within the walls of my room. It was a few hours past midnight and I was going crazy with countless thoughts running in my head.I couldn't stay still, nor did I have the capacity to sleep tonight. I needed to think. To clear my head and mind but even that was becoming impossible. I missed Nina now more than ever.Drawing closer to the large bed at the center of the room, I fell on the edge, burying my face in my palms, and once more the thought of Ria flooded my mind. She didn't deserve to die at the hands of someone like Mason. And now that Mason had his powers, everything would only get worse.I was up from the bed, feeling the hotness of the air in my lungs, suffocating me. I needed fresh air. I left the room in a haste, the passageway to the main stairs was completely quiet and empty. I was going down the second floor when I noticed the light coming from one of the large rooms at the distant end. I realized

Asher's Point Of View My heart was pounding in my chest and I took deep breaths to calm it down.“Nervous?” Theo chuckled, placing a hand on my shoulder as we stared down the beautifully decorated aisle where Cirilla would be coming through any minute from now.“Nope,” I lied, my heart in complete chaos as I tried to steady my breathing. “Sure he is,” Wren voiced coldly, “He's a second from losing his shit,”I fought the urge to glare at him. “Get out of my head, demon,” My eyes remained fixed on the blank evening air. “Relax man! Just take a deep breath otherwise at the rate you'll end up having a heart attack the second you see her,” Stefan whispered from my left, and I couldn't tell if that was a warning or a piece of advice.“Enough, all of you. You're being too loud,” I refrained from shouting, keeping my voice low instead, and wondering why I chose all three of them to be my groomsmen. I should have gone with Daryl, Andy, and Cory instead.‘They are right though. Tune it down

Cameron's Point Of View Hastily, I flipped through the papers, going through them, and as soon as I was satisfied, I scribbled my signature at the bottom of the document, sealing a multibillion deal.I gently placed my fountain pen on the table, glancing up to see Trevor's face beaming with so much elation. “Happy now?” I smirked, getting off from my seat, and pinning together the suit jacket of my tux. “Hurry up and don't be late,” I told the smiling vampire, before strutting out of my office at Castle Corps. Today I had no choice but to step into town and close a deal we've been working on for several months now.I chuckled, as a smile stalked my lips. I couldn't just stop smiling. Today was a good day. The very best. I reached the elevator doors and pressed a button. As soon as it opened, I stepped through the door, at the same time, snapping my fingers, and instantly teleported myself to one of my penthouse suites in Louisiana.I glanced around the large suite and instantly my e

Asher's Point Of View“Just a little sec,” Louis yelled over the loud music playing in the bar as he kept shaking the bottle of wine. In one swift move, he flicked the top open and there was a loud popping sound followed by the dramatic mess of the alcohol pouring around.“Woah,” I heard Eric scream from a corner with a random female on his lap, while he kept chugging down one of the concoctions Louis had mixed the second the party started, and without mincing words, they were all clearly drunk.I groaned in frustration, bringing my fingers to block both of my ears as Amy, Shirley, Enzo, and Dorian were murdering Ava by Famy at a far corner which I clearly remembered wasn't even sung that way.I pulled my beer to my lips, taking a sip. I looked around from the dancing crowd and saw Julia and Wren sitting, also looking completely bored while Kayla and Carl were making out in the backseat booth of the bar, and Malia, Daryl, and Theo were unaccounted for.And here I was seated at one of

Cameron's Point Of ViewI knew it.There was nothing left inside of me. I was nothing more than an empty shell. I felt absolutely nothing but a pain in my heart. A darkness that loomed over every inch of my mind. Just patiently waiting until it finally took over every piece of me.It wouldn't be that bad to shut it all out. To rid myself of this pain that had filled the cavity in my soul, but one glance at Theo and my mate, reminded me I wasn't the only one suffering through it. They needed me. And I needed them. But I couldn't deny it. I also felt a little fear in the smallest crevice of my heart. We would never be okay. There was no way we would ever survive this loss.It was worse than knowing she was somewhere out there but we couldn't find her.Eighteen long years of never giving up. Of searching relentlessly for our little princess, and in the end she ended up in a coffin. It was the most distraught sight for a parent. It was never supposed to be like this. A parent should never

Cirilla's Point Of View For a second I felt a surge of excruciating pain starting from my chest right where the pointed edge of the phoenix blade pierced me, spreading through my bones, and it was as though my whole soul was being sucked into a funnel. But just when I thought the pain was about to get worse, darkness covered my vision, dominating the light around me. And I felt absolutely nothing. That was when I knew it without a doubt. I was dead.At the speed of light, everything that happened within the last minutes of my life flashed before my eyes and the last image of Asher's teary and broken gaze filled with so much pain and sadness tore me completely apart and without realizing, tears pooled out of my eyes. The hurt in his eyes was heartbreaking.I sobbed silently, and abruptly, the darkness that surrounded me began to fade into a blinding light that I had to shut my eyes.By the time I pulled my eyes open, I found myself in the middle of the worst scene of my life, or rathe

  • CIRI: THE LOST TRIBRID PRINCESS   Chapter 74

Asher’s Point Of View No!A growl resonated within my chest as Mason's words filled my mind. I just knew he was lying. He had to be. There was no way Cirilla's death had to be the end of him. That couldn't be possible. The moon goddess couldn't be so cruel.I did everything to break out from whatever effect Mason's magic had on me, keeping me frozen. But I couldn't. I could barely feel Ryker anymore and even Azalea's strength had weakened greatly from the fucking veil in the sky, blocking out our powers.I could neither connect with Cirilla through our mate bond. Instead, I was forced to watch the broken state she was in and witness her pain I couldn't stop the tears that filled my eyes as her blue eyes moved around and finally fell on mine.“Don't do this,” I begged. Mason was a lying bastard. There must be another way.But the look in her eyes was final. She had made up her mind.No Cirilla! The words echoed in my head but I couldn't get them out. Suddenly her eyes glowed brightly

Cirilla's Point Of View Growling, Nina charged to the surface, and using my magic I dug my claws into the ground creating a magical force of explosion that flung them around, giving those around some time before they would get to them.I glanced over my shoulder at Shirley. She was already in her wolf form and Kayla next to me panicked as these beasts were already bridging the distance between us.Shirley had lunged instantly at one when I heard her panicking cry from over my shoulder.I turned to her just in time to stop one of those things from clawing at her.“My magic!” She screamed, “Something's wrong! I can't use my magic. It's weakening,” “What?”“The boundary spells must be down. It's a veil, it's blocking out our magic, and every source of our powers, but I don't understand why it isn't affecting you,” Kayla rushed in fear.“Back to the mansion!” I yelled, releasing volts of magic at them but they seemed completely unaffected.Shirley and Kayla started for the route leading

Davina's Point Of ViewWe had almost all the ingredients we needed for the spell, including Sheila's blood. I don't know how Asula got it, but Sheila had no idea of what we were about to do. Asula had sent Rowena to retrieve the last piece of ingredients, and she was escorted by Kane and a few of his warriors. We had left the cottage and now followed the familiar trail to the ancient magic cave. Once we entered, she turned to the stone table in the middle, unloading the required ingredients from her basket on the table.“We must begin at once and be done quickly,” She said, scrolling through the Grimoire.“And the last piece of ingredients Rowena has gone to fetch?”“Oh don't worry about her. We have all we need here. I just sent her on a little adventure with Kane. I don't want her here for the spell,”Her words surprised me but I also didn't want her here for the spell, especially with the phoenix stone out in the open.“You have to be careful of the witch. Davina's Point Of ViewWe spent the rest of the night going around the forest. At first, each trail either led us to a dead end or took us through another circle. And Rowena's constant mumbling was a crown on the insane frustration I felt. It took me every bit of self-control not to plunge the dagger in my boots into her chest and I kept reminding myself that I needed her just as much as she needed me to get out of there. Alive. So in the meantime, we were all we had. After hours of going around in circles in the forest, we finally found our way out, bursting out in the middle of a long narrow path, and up ahead seemed like a village. We moved hastily in the darkness, and using the single torch on a stick we managed to light up to see in the darkness. We trekked up the hills and burst into the village. I stopped in my tracks, and as expected there was no single soul in sight. But something else felt wrong. The place felt deserted.“Something doesn't feel right,” Suddenly, I felt a lit
