Judith's POV,

As the dusk settled in, I found myself driving to the airport in a state of high anticipation. I thought about the coming moment when Amihan would set eyes on Derrick again, and I could hardly contain the thrill of that imagined encounter. I envisioned the shock and disbelief that would wash over her features, and even as I drove, my hands trembled with excitement at the thought. I found myself caught up in the moment, even as it had not yet come to pass.

It had been a month since I had returned from New York, and I had done my best to act naturally around Amihan, as though nothing had changed. I knew that my second plan, involving Derrick, was the key to my ultimate goal, and it gave me the motivation I needed to behave normally. I couldn't afford for her to become suspicious, so I put on a façade of normalcy. In the meantime, I worked with Derrick to solidify his plans to relocate to the Philippines, all the while keeping my true intentions a secret.
