"Damn it, I forgot! Bro, I just saw your princess down the hallway." Boom... The jewelry box’s lid slammed shut with a thud.

"What did you say?" The way he shouted made Peter jump in fear, suddenly nervous. He was about to explain when Benjamin’s assistant emerged with the box, confirming Peter’s fear of retribution from his brother. Benjamin was notoriously protective when it came to his "princess."

"Yes, when I arrived, I saw her down the hallway." Peter was certain he hadn’t seen anything wrong.

"Are you sure it was Miss Princess and not someone else?" Daniel questioned. Rose would never visit such a place, he believed, knowing her better than himself. But he realized he might be mistaken. Even if she had come to a club at this hour, Alexander would have been informed first. Yet Alexander’s reaction suggested otherwise.

"Who was with her?" Alexander’s cold, intense eyes fixed on Peter, warning him not to say something displeasing, as if his very life depended on it.

"I think it was
