Her story

Yena was scribbling furiously when Johnny walked in. She seemed to be in a better mood than last night. Johnny must have complimented Sloan.

“What are you writing?” Johnny asked. He put down the leather briefcase and sat down. The chairs here are much more comfortable than those in the foyer. At the same time, sitting in the hospital room also helped her to talk more.

“Dr. Sloan gave me a notebook. Very sweet, isn't it? It's been too long since I wrote anything. I almost forgot how much I loved it,” said Yena. Then she smiled.

"I didn't ask that, Miss Ruiz," Johnny replied, but there was no stinging in it.

She sighed, “I'm…you know. I just want to preserve my memories before I stop believing in them myself.”

Johnny really didn't know what to say except, "That could lead to a subpoena, you know?"

She seemed to be hit hard, the pen in her hand fell down with a 'clack'. "Really? Why did you do that?”

"Nothing," he said easily, "forget what I just said."

She looked at him, then bent over
