Kiara stepped into the bus, with the phone still attached to her ear. “Did he call you?” The person asked. Kiara’s phone pinged with another incoming call interrupting the ongoing one.

It was the third time her phone had buzzed. The first two times she was busy with the conversation, so ignored the calls. But the caller seems persistent.

Annoyed at the interruption, she asked the person to wait.

She pulled her phone away from her ear to check and the name on the screen turns out to be the man of her troubles.

‘Mr. Adams’ flashed on the screen. Kiara rolled her eyes and replied to the person.

“Talk of the devil and the devil appears!”

“Huh?”

“Means he is calling. Please disconnect the call. Let me see what Mr. Devil has to say now?” Kiara answered in a miffed tone, clicking her tongue.

As soon as the person disconnected, Kiara received Viaan’s call, and the first thing she heard him say was not any taunt or threat, but a possessive question.

  • CEO's Hidden Marriage   A month later!

A month later:- Viaan reached his penthouse, and as soon as he stepped out of the car it started raining. Luckily, he was in the parking area so no chance of getting wet. He was more worried about the papers and his laptop which was in the bag he fetched out of the car. He pressed the button of elevator and waited for some minutes until the elevator came down. Getting into it, Viaan punched his floor number and took out his phone from his pocket. He turned it on and checked a few notifications. Finding nothing important, he canceled them all and kept the phone back in his pocket. He looked at his wristwatch which was showing the time 8:35 at night. The elevator made a ding sound as it reached his floor. Taking his laptop bag came out of it and proceeded towards his apartment taking out the keys. Opening the door he entered and like always took off his shoes and kept them in the shoe rack. He stepped inside, took off his coat, leaving himself just in shirt and pants, and washed h

  • CEO's Hidden Marriage   Am I so important to you?

One month later:- Viaan’s POV:- Life is so unpredictable. You never know what is waiting for you on a new day or a new phase. I just never thought it would be so exciting to come home. I never thought I would look forward so eagerly to getting back home at the earliest. And, I surely never thought I would be feeling so crazy about a girl. A girl who is completely the opposite of me. On top of all this, I am actually amazed at how I talk so much with her considering I am a man of few words. I can’t speak more than required. I don’t like speaking much. So, what I often do is listen, observe and take action. That’s all! But, since the day Kiara and I expressed our liking towards each other, I have been talking more. It’s like I love hearing her voice and keep saying some or another thing to her. Somehow my heart feels the conversation must go on and on whenever we are together or alone. And, not to forget the extreme urge to touch and feel her every time whenever she is around me. E

She licked her lips, feeling nervous about hearing his answer. Viaan stared at her anxious eyes, waiting for an answer. And they did not hide her apprehensions from him ever since he started reading them intently. “Did my actions not tell you yet?” He held her close, looked deep into her insecure eyes, and asked sincerely. Though he asked a question in return, he had no idea why she was so insecure every time these days. He was already regretting his initial behavior with her. Now that everything is going well, he doesn’t want anything to create more problems in their life. Two nights ago, when they kissed for the first time, Viaan had felt so special, as if he had got all the fortunes of his life. Then how come you joined me here today?” She looked at him suspiciously, with her eyes squinted to a curved line. Yesterday, when Hunter had come to GRACE after a gap of two entire weeks, it elated him to meet Kiara. For the past two weeks, the man was extremely busy with the campaigns and some critical projects that had great importance for Brown Corporations. “Robin was right. I am busy, but as I always said, not for you, Pretty Lady. Besides, when you told me that you had planned to come here today, I couldn’t help but invite myself. This seemed a good break from the hectic schedule, plus I got to spend time with my special friend.” Said Hunter, bumping his shoulders with her. Kiara giggled, just like she always did after his playful actions. Hunter was again lost in her beautiful smile and chirpy aura. He couldn’t help but think how lucky he was to meet a pure soul like Kiara. Yesterday when he

How long more would you keep it a secret?” Her eyes wrinkled at the corners while her nose flared in annoyance. Her anger didn’t seem to affect Viaan a bit as the man chuckled loudly. “As I said, it is a surprise, Maa. I’m not telling you to spoil the fun already.” He refused to reveal, making his mother smack his arms from the backseat.“You have become too naughty these days.” She said through her gritted teeth, only to get a burst of hearty laughter from her son.Huffing, she crossed her hands across her chest and s

Writer’s POV:-“Did Viaan tell when will he come?” Leena asked Kiara who was serving her breakfast. Her hands stopped in the air and she raised her head to her mother-in-law. “No, Maa. He had just dropped the text last night that he wouldn’t be coming home tonight as he had an urgent meeting and some important work. So, he is perhaps staying at the penthouse itself.” Kiara sighed, continuing to fill Leena’s plate.Leena nodded recalling the text Kiara showed her last night. Viaan had specifically mentioned to tell Leena about it, he himself didn’t text her thinking she must be asleep by then.It was around eleven in the morning. Didn’t he and his lawyer want time?” The question triggered his mind, he inquired in a disbelieving tone. The frown went deeper on his face; his eyeballs moving constantly as he tried to figure out Viaan’s step. One thing was crystal clear neither Viaan nor his lawyer saw this proposal as a simple invitation to get rid of legal troubles. Hence it was very much acceptable for his rival to seek time to agree or even deny. That’s why, even when this frustrated Hunter, he was ready for any secret investigation Viaan did on him. But little did he expect, that his acceptance would come this early and fast.He heard Daniel huffing from the other end and came out of his thoughts. “I have no idea, Sir. You can’t avoid it any longer.
