The cabin had a single bedroom with a metal frame bed but no mattress. There was an old painting of what the cabin originally looked like when it was first built. The room also had an ancient chest of drawers which had a hole on the side and was missing the drawers handles.

The bathroom was a metal bath with a toilet. A cracked mirror hung against the wall, and I remembered JB broke my accident when he shot me with his slingshot. The cabin used to have running water, but now the pipes were dry.

The lounge/dining area and kitchen were all one room. There was a small wooden table with a broken chair. Then another painting of a car that I hung up. JB also painted a tree on the wall, which was pretty well done. The kitchen had a few cabinets with an odd plate or cup in them. There wasn’t much, but the cabin was like a dream home for two young boys.

While we were in the lounge area, I removed a loose floorboard. This was our secret stash spot in case someone broke into the cabin. There were blankets, candles and stuff to start a fire in the fireplace. I just had to collect some wood from outside. Luckily, I stuck a machete under the floorboard as well.

“I can see why this is your favourite place,” Kiara stated. “You can go collect some wood while I make the place a bit more comfortable.”

“Okay. I’ll be back soon.” I nodded and was about to walk off when I looked back at her.

“What?” She asked and tucked her hair behind her ear. She was so gorgeous. It was like my mind refused to accept that I was here with her. I, Jason, a nobody that disobeys the law like I deserve a free pass for growing up poor.

Kiara… she was intelligent, exotic and hard working. She was… perfect. How was I this lucky to be alone with her right now?

“You take my breath away,” I said and walked over to her. With one hand wrapped around her waist, I pulled her closer to me. Our lips found their way to each other, and I gave her a passionate kiss.

She felt so warm pressed against my body. I wanted to stay inside and cuddle, but the cold breeze that blew in from the open door reminded me to get wood. Kiara giggled as I pulled away and lightly tapped her ass. With a wink, I quickly walked off and collected some wood.

Kiara had laid out some blankets on the floor and lit candles as the sky started to grow dark. She smiled at me as I walked back inside and showed off her efforts. Her eyes lit up, and I smiled at her. It was like she was happy that I accepted the way she made the place comfortable.

“Brrr, it’s chilly.” I laughed and started the fire. I placed the door back in its frame to block out the cold air, and soon the old cabin warmed up.

Kiara placed a blanket over both of us as I sat down next to her. For weeks, all I wanted to do was speak to her. But now… it seemed like my mind hit a blank.

“I’m sorry about your Dad. When did he pass?” Kiara asked innocently and placed her hand on my leg to comfort me in case it was a sensitive topic.

“It’s okay. He passed in my last year of high school. He was diagnosed with cancer about 2 years earlier, so it didn’t come as a shock. JB and I tried to prepare ourselves, but it still hurt when he did pass.” I shrugged. I wanted to be open and honest with Kiara from the start. So, I pushed past the pain from that memory and felt safe enough to share it with her.

“He was your Dad. It’s normal to have hurt. What about your mommy?” Kiara said.

I smiled at the way she said, mommy.

“You’re so cute when you say that. Mommy.” I laughed. “I never knew my mom; she passed away before I was born,” I added to answer her question. “What about your parents?”

“My mom and Dad divorced when I started primary school. So, I was constantly travelling between homes. My mom eventually remarried and moved overseas. She left my Dad alone to take care of me. He didn’t find another woman and grew into a bitter old man. I swear I’m the only one who can make him smile.” Kiara responded.

“Are you and your mom still in contact?”

“Nope. I haven’t spoken to her for years. She doesn’t even try to reach out to me, so I’m not even bothered.”

“I’m sorry. What about siblings? Do you have any?”

“I’m an only child. Is it just you and your brother or…?”

“Yeah, just JB and I.” I nodded. “When we first, er, met… you said something about an ex. Did the ‘no dating’ rule happen because of him?”

I instantly rejected asking the question as Kiara frowned. It was perhaps a bit too personal. She crossed her arms across her chest and glared at me.

“Why do all men assume that the way I live my life is because of them?” She snapped. “Can’t I just be happy on my own? Why do I need a reason to stay single?”

“I’m sorry, Kiara. I didn’t mean to offend you.”

“Yeah, well, you did. Being with someone else is just so much unnecessary stress. At any second, that person could do something to hurt me. I don’t want to live my life like that. I’m happy by myself, okay. Now let’s just drop the subject.” She muttered, and we fell into an awkward silence. The fire cracked as it burned in the fireplace.

I could hear the soft running water of the river in the distance and an owl that flew past the trees outside of the cabin. My brain was debating on what I should say or how to make Kiara feel better. After a few minutes, I opened my mouth.

“I wish I could be happy alone,” I stated, and Kiara looked at me. “You’re happy with yourself and who you are. That’s amazing. Usually, everyone is their own worst enemy, and you somehow found a way to accept that. I find it admirable.”

“Why don’t you like who you are?” Kiara questioned and moved her arms from her chest. She seemed to be in a better mood, at least.

“Well, for one… I’m a criminal. I steal for a living and run from the cops. You can’t get lower than that. Plus, look at me. I’m awkwardly tall, have no real purpose in life and am pinning over someone that is way out of my league.” I shrugged. I wasn’t trying to sound depressing but just being honest.

“Don’t talk like that, Jason. I’m sure you have great qualities as well. You’re a good driver. You’re kind and really good at sex.” Kiara remarked, which made me laugh.

“Thanks, I guess.” I smiled, and she touched the side of my face.

“I hope you learn how to be happy by yourself.” She stated and stared into my eyes. For a moment, I found myself lost in her deep brown eyes as she just stared at each other silently. It only lasted a few seconds, but to me, it felt mesmerizing.

I leaned in closer to Kiara and rested my forehead against hers.

“Maybe you can show me how to be happy,” I whispered before I pressed my lips against hers. Kiara’s fingers curled around my neck. Her fingertips were cold, but her mouth was hot against mine. She moved and sat on top of me with her pussy pressed against my dick as we kissed.

That amazing scent of coconut drifted from her skin, and I moved my lips down to kiss her neck. My hand caressed over her back and grabbed her ass cheeks. Her hips started moving, which made her grind against me. Her mouth tasted sweet and like soft peppermint. Being with her reminded me of the first night we spent together.

“I’m really wet,” Kiara mumbled in my ear. “I can feel how hard you are. I want your throbbed dick to be inside of me.”

“Fuck, Kiara. You are so fucking sexy.” I groaned and tugged her shirt off and over her head. She had on a sexy red lace bra that cupped her breasts firmly.

“Get undressed but keep the bra on,” I ordered in her ear, and she quickly climbed off of me. I also got undressed while she obeyed. I pulled her back towards me and claimed her mouth with mine. We made our way back down onto the blanket.

“I want to get on top,” Kiara stated and shoved me to lay down. Her wet pussy rubbed against my hard dick as she quickly dug in her bag and pulled out a condom.

“Do you just carry those around?” I laughed as she squeezed my dick with her hands.

“Obviously. Better safe than sorry.” Kiara smirked and tore open the condom wrapper. She then proceeded to put it on and knew exactly what she was doing. I got to lay back and relax.

“Your so fucking bad, baby.” Kiara groaned and leaned down to kiss me. She bit onto my bottom lip and pulled it into her mouth, which made me want more. I smacked her ass as she kissed me and twirled her tongue around my tongue. She even sucked on my tongue, which was slightly painful but sexy as fuck.

“Have you been bad, Jason?” Kiara asked as she pulled away and positioned her hips. I caught on that she was into some sort of role-playing, which I found hot.

“Real bad. Are you going to punish me, Kiara?” I huskily replied and squeezed her breasts.

“Yes.” She stated as her hips thrust forward, and I slid inside of her. We both moaned as she did so and then started moving, so I went completely out and then back in. Her pussy was tight around my dick as I slid in and out of her.

Kiara moved my hand to her neck while her hips moved magically on top of me. She stared at me as I moaned while she fucked me and smiled. It felt so good to be inside of her. I thrust my hips up and tried to fuck her faster.

“Yes, baby. Keep doing that. It feels so good.” Kiara mumbled and moved her hand down her body. Her finger rubbed her clit while I fucked her pussy. Her sexy moans and deep breaths filled her air.

“Come for me, love,” I begged Kiara as her mouth flew open. Her body trembled as her vagina walls clenched. As she orgasmed, warm moisture flowed down my shaft and made me grip onto her ass. I cumed as Kiara rammed her hips hard against me.

“Fuck, love.” I groaned, and she burst into giggles as she moved her hips, so my dick slid out. Kiara sat on my legs as I sat up and took off the condom, which was full of white cum. She tied a knot in it and then handed it back to me.

“Thanks.” I smiled and kissed her before tossing the condom aside and pulling her naked body closer to me so that we could cuddle. I also covered us with a blanket and made sure she was tucked warmly in my arms.

“You are so beautiful,” I mumbled and placed a kiss on her forehead.

“Thank you, handsome. Did you enjoy yourself?” Kiara asked and nuzzled her face closer to my neck.

“Yes, fuck yes.” I nodded and squeezed her ass.

“I like you.” Kiara softly said that I almost didn’t hear her.

“I like you too,” I replied, and her cheeks shot red. She placed a kiss on my chest and wrapped her arms around me.

“Can I be honest?” She suddenly asked and lifted her chin to look up at me.

“Of course.”

“When you are near me, I feel… safe. I don’t know why.”

“That’s good, love. I swear I have no bad intentions when it comes to you.”

“Maybe I do trust you a tiny bit.” Kiara smiled and shrugged her shoulders. Her warm body was so close to mine, and she looked gorgeous with her messy silver hair sprawled out on my arm.

“Are you busy tomorrow?” Kiara suddenly asked, and I shook my head. “Good. My Dad’s having a Sunday luncheon, and I know he wants me to invite a plus one. Would you like to join me?”

“You want me to meet your Dad?” I asked, shocked and stared at her.

“I guess so, but only as a friend.” She firmly stated.

“I would love to be your plus one.” I smiled and placed a quick kiss against her lips.

Kiara and I spent the night getting to know each other more by talking. I learnt things such as her favourite colour (which is red) and if she studied at university (the answer was yes). Kiara went to the University of Pretoria, aka Tukkies. She studied business management and told me stories of how she went to tons of parties. Kiara messed around on a pole at a club one night, then decided to join pole dancing classes. After that, she perfected the art and now can move in ways I’ve never seen before. She told me how her Dad always called her his angel, which is why she acts as the perfect daughter for his sake. I asked her if she ever wished her Dad could know the real her, but Kiara said she prefers to keep her life separate. She feels freer that way. I just sat there and listened when Kiara spoke. I could listen to her for days upon end. Her voice was beautiful, and she sounded so happy when she spoke about her Dad. They were really close, and she loved him with all her heart. Kia

I offered him a small smile while I shook his hand. Mr Van Kline had dark brown hair that was riddled with grey strands. He had a neatly trimmed grey beard and stern eyes that shouted ‘business’. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr Van Kline.” I gulped and could feel Kiara staring into my skull. “I heard whispers that your grandmother will leave her company in your name. Is it true that she is thinking of finally retiring?” Mr Van Kline asked. “We all know how stubborn my grandmother can be.” I awkwardly chuckled and hoped I was right. Mr Van Kline nodded with a small smile. “I know it’s time that she retires, but I think she’ll work for as long as possible,” I added. It was scary how easily lying came to me. “Uh, yes, that is true. I hope to see you around more often. It appears my daughter has kept you hidden.” He stated and looked at Kiara. “Sorry, Daddy. Mr Porter here claimed to not enjoy such functions,” Kiara replied and looked to stare at me. I felt a drop of sweat on my fore

I felt this anger build up inside of me. Not at her, but at whoever or whatever made me feel like she can’t be loved. I was also angry at myself for not having more patience. I shouldn’t have kissed her or asked her to dance or slept with her again at the old cabin. I made my way back inside to fetch my suit jacket and tried to wipe off as much water as possible. I still looked wet when I walked back into the grand hall where the luncheon was taking place. Mr Van Kline walked over to me when I grabbed my jacket. “Uh, Jason.” He smiled and placed his hand on my shoulder. “Sorry, Gregory. Kiara said that I should let you know she wasn’t feeling well, so she went home.” I explained to let him know what was happening. “Uh, I see.” He nodded and removed his hand. “My daughter ran away, didn’t she?” He suddenly asked, and I felt my body freeze in place. “I saw the way the two of you look at each other. I once looked at Kiara’s mom the same way. I think Kiara can’t accept that she can be

We had just finished a meeting with Mr Van Kline and a few other major businessmen. Mrs Porter had invited them over to her company to announce that I would take over in the next upcoming year. I had a whole presentation with new ideas and changes which Mrs Porter really liked. It felt like I was at school again and being graded. The men seemed to enjoy what I said, so it went well. “Thank you, Jason.” Sue smiled as I sat down. “As you can see, gentlemen, my grandson is more than capable of taking over my company. You will be in good hands.” “I agree.” Mr Van Kline added. “It will be my honour to work with you.” He smiled at me, which made my heart feel like it was glowing. Having Mr Van Kline like me was amazing; even though he didn’t know the entire truth, it still felt really good. The rest of the gentlemen shook my hand and congratulated me. As everyone was about to depart, Mr Van Kline walked over to me. “Gregory.” I smiled as he stopped next to me. “I would like to invite yo

Kiara's gorgeous lips curled into a small smile. Once again, I was struck by how beautiful she was. She could have been Victoria's Secret model or become famous for her stunning appearance on I*******m. How could one human be this attractive? "Why are you just staring at me, Jason? It's kind of weird." She giggled. "I just think you are the most beautiful woman in the world," I replied with a shrug. "You haven't seen everyone in the world, so how would you know?" Her eyebrows slightly wiggled as she asked the question. "I know my ideal woman when I see her, and no one can compete with you." "You always know exactly what to say, don't you?" She asked, but the blush on her cheeks told me she appreciated the compliment. I couldn't help but smile. Being around her made me feel so alive. I changed the topic and told her all about my deal with Mrs Porter while we sat on the edge of the jacuzzi. Kiara couldn't believe that Sue wanted me to continue the act as her grandson. She also ad

We climbed out of the jacuzzi and got dressed. Kiara kept giggling as we sneaked off towards her room. I felt like a teenager that didn't want his girlfriend's parents to know he slept over. "Shh." I softly chuckled as we walked into her room hand in hand. Kiara clapped her hands which made the light switch on. I looked around in wonder. Her room was massive. Long golden curtains draped down over a glass sliding door, which led out onto a balcony. She had an L-shaped desk in the one corner with the best gaming set-up I'd seen. Next to that was a dressing table full of jewellery, makeup and hair accessories that were probably every girly woman's dream. She had tons of pictures on her walls of who I assumed were her friends. Many were with her father, but not one featured her mom. The room was decorated with LED lights and had tons of cupboard space. The bed was massive and covered in teddy bears, pillows and fluffy blankets. Above the bed hung a painted picture of Kiara's naked back

I knocked on the front door of the Van Kline household, and soon afterwards, Mr Sandile opened up. "Oh, Mr Porter." He greeted me and offered me a friendly smile. "Evening, sir. I'm here to pick up Kiara..." I started to say. "I'm here!" Kiara shouted as she ran down the stairs. My eyes devoured the sight of her. She had on a pair of thick grey stockings, a black shirt and a fluffy white jacket. Her hair was put into a high ponytail, and she had on her glasses. "Enjoy." Mr Sandile slightly bowed, then walked off to leave us alone. "Let's go." Kiara beamed and grabbed my hand. Electricity shot through me."Shouldn't I say hello to your Dad?" I quickly questioned as she pulled me away. "He's gone to some charity event." "Oh," I replied and stopped in place. I yanked Kiara closer to me and held her against my chest. She gasped as I did so. I drove Kiara home and then made out a bit in the car before I had to let her go. She felt so warm against me on a cold night. "Stay over again." Kiara smiled as she pulled away from me. "I really want to but I have work tomorrow, love. Plus, I think we should only have sleepovers during the weekend." I winked. "Fine." She rolled her eyes with a small pout. "Wait, before I forget. I should probably give you my number." "Oh, yes please." I smiled and quickly pulled out my phone. Kiara happily put her number in and saved her name with a heart. She then texted herself a kiss emoji which made her phone vibrate. "Perfect." She smiled and kissed me again. The Uber that Kiara arranged for me arrived which meant it was time to say goodbye. After a steamy kiss, I forced myself to get out of the car and walked toward the Uber. Kiara waved bye as we drove off. The drive home made me feel content. Yes, I left her which made me sad. 2 years later...I hadn’t spoken to Kiara since that day. I fell into this dark pit where I was so angry but couldn’t do anything about it. I kept my promise to Allan. I didn’t take revenge. I got justice.I gained proof of the warden's illegal ways and the deals he made with the inmates. I found out he arranged the hit since I was taking my time. My lawyer helped me build a case, and together we got the warden put away for the rest of his life.To be honest, it didn’t make me feel better, but I knew it was all I could do.I couldn’t face Kiara. I refused to read her letters, take her calls, or even see her when she came to visit. For a year, she kept trying, but eventually the letters stopped coming. I just needed time alone. I needed to heal, and I did. I found peace.I even had my sentence reduced. Today I was getting out.“Do you have someone coming to pick you up?” The officer asked as he checked me out at the entrance. He gave me a normal pair of clothes, my secret cell phone, a

Allan stared back at me as his eyes darted across my face.“What does that have to do with me?” He finally asked, which made me run my hand through my hair.“I need to talk to Kiara first before I decide anything.” I shrugged and stepped closer to him. “But I do like you, Allan.” I paused and flicked my eyes down to his lips. “You’re gorgeous. I’m intrigued by you. I want to get to know you more, but I also need you to be able to defend yourself. I won't always be here to protect you.” I paused and touched the side of his face. “I don’t know if it’s just lust or if it could be something more. If you’re willing, I’d like to figure it out together.”Allan’s eyes closed for a brief second as he seeped in the warmth from my hand on his face. I watched his chest rise and fall and felt myself totally mesmerised by him. Kiara was the only other person who had that effect on me. So, for a second, I was scared. Allan took a step closer and looked down at my erection, then up at my lips, then at my eyes.“You didn’t finish.” He mumbled so seductively that it made my cheeks go red.“Oh, uh, it’s fine, man.” I said and made the mistake of flickering my eyes down to his lips, trying to get out of his gaze.Allan then closed the distance between us as he pressed his lips against mine. My body froze as his warm lips stayed on mine for a second or two before my brain kicked in and pushed him back harder than I intended. His back hit the wall as he stared back at me.“What the hell, man?” I hissed as I pushed away from the bed and stepped closer to him. “Are you gay or something?” I demanded and grabbed a hand full of his shirt."Y-yeah, I am.” He stuttered as he looked up at me, frowning. “I just thought I could help you get rid of that erection.”Shit, I don’t know if it was the way he sounded so innocent or the way I hated seeing him frown. This irresistible urge to kiss him flooded my thoughts.

I grunted as I turned around and slid back onto the bottom bunk of the bed. Allan wasn’t my problem. He needed to stand up for himself.Nothing else was said that night. Allan climbed onto the top bunk and, after a while, softly let the tears fall. He thought I was asleep and did it so quietly that no one else would hear. He stopped sitting at my table, only said a word or two to me in the cell, and was rejected by all the gangs that he started spending a lot of time with the ladies. It made things worse for him. The cafeteria was like a stereotypical jail-style cafeteria. Officers stood around while the inmates on kitchen duty served the rest of us on a plastic plate. It smelled of dirty cooking oil and rotting food that was stuck between the planks of the tables. Whoever was on cleaning duty never cared enough to clean properly, but heck, we were in jail. No one puts in that much effort. Everything was given the bare minimum.Klip and I grabbed our plates and stood in line, a spoonful of what looked like vomit piling onto the plate. Boiled cabbage stew first, then rice on top. I glared at the inmate serving me, and he quickly stood up straight and apologised. Fuck, who added rice last, this fucking idiot? I rolled my eyes and walked over to the table closest to the door."Uh, Jay isn’t this…" Klip asked behind me but decided to rather shut up as I sat down.He hesitated but sat down next to me as well. The first few months in jail were the worst. The inmates tested me. I was beat up; I beat some of them up... I had to prove myself and show how tough I could be. Eventually, I knocked out enough inmates to make the others back off and stop messing with me.I had so much time to just think about everything and sort out my mind. I started reading, working out, and even got a tattoo of Kiara’s name on my chest. I quickly had to learn how to bargain and do certain favours for the wardens and powerful inmates. There were a bunch of gangs formed in the jail, and all of them tried to win me over, but I refused all of their offers and kept to myself. I made sure I was respected by everyone and even made friends with the officers. I liked being the middle man.For two years, I had my own cell and was mostly left alone to do my own thing. From all the working out, I had muscles and grew super strong. I looked great and was no longer that skinny, awkward man that Kiara fell in love with. Heck,

She caused such a commotion that she was not banned from entering the station while I was being held. I could have left... The sky was lit with colours of pink, red and orange. A soft breeze blew and stirred up dust into the air. The land was filled with small shrubs, cacti, dry grass and sand. It was like everything around us went in slow motion. I had time to describe every detail of Axels face, and how his body hit the ground. He landed face first with his eyes still open while his blood seeped into the sand. His arms were at his side and his knees bent to the side. He didn't breathe, he didn't blink, he didn't move. Even when Kiara screamed his name and wind flew dust towards us. He wasn't bothered. He just lay there. Then suddenly everything went back to normal speed as another shot went off and hit one tire of the van, making it sink down to the rim. My body jerked into motion as I grabbed Kiara and pulled her behind the side of the van, incase the sniper tried to shoot us. "Stay here, Kiara!" I yelled and looked from her tearing eyes to peek around the door to see where the sniper shot from."
