Sue had us dropped off by a private airfield which greeted us with champagne and snacks. I was about to ask them for a non-alcoholic beverage when I remembered that Olivia was not Kiara. Luckily, I stopped myself in time. I had gotten so used to having Kiara around that I now had habits set in place to make her comfortable and be considerate about her.

“To a lovely time in the Philippines!” Sue cheered as we clicked our glasses together. I watched as Olivia sipped on the champagne and felt the aeroplane starting to move. I had never been in one before… heck, I had never even left the country. Now I had a 20-hour flight ahead of me…

“Nervous flyer?” Olivia asked as she sat down next to me. I nodded and wished I could tell her it was my first time, but that would blow my cover. I was Jason Porter to her.

“It’s okay. You just gotta breathe and try to relax your body. You’ll get used to it.” She added and placed her hand on mine for comfort. I was grateful that Olivia was here, there was

“Hi, Jason right? Anyway, the rest of the group wants to blow this joint and have some fun. We booked a yacht to take out us so we can party on the water. There’s going to be hot chicks, music, booze… drugs. You in?” One of the gents asked. His name was Raul if I remember correctly. His family was big into the export of different types of oil. I ran my eyes over his cheeky smile, perfect brown hair and tanned olive skin. He was the type of guy that all the women wanted to be with… a suitable match for someone as beautiful as Kiara.“We would love to join,” Olivia replied next to me.“We’re leaving in an hour, so you both can go change into something more decent. See you soon.” Raul winked at Olivia and then walked off. His charms had affected her because when I looked at her face it was bright red and she was smiling… a lot.“He’s just a ladies' man,” I stated and couldn’t help but frown.“Yeah, obviously. I’m not looking to date him just have some fun. Why? You jealous?” She laughed

“Yoh, Jason. Bro, take this shot.” Raul stated and shoved a shot glass into your hand which messed over. “Woah, sorry, bro.” He laughed.“Here let me.” Some girl winked and took the shot from you. Honestly, I expected her to wipe it off with something but instead, she pressed my hand to her mouth and licked the liquid off. Her tongue was soft, warm and wet. She even took my finger into her mouth and sucked before smiling at me and walking off.Why did I find that hot? I wiped my hand on my shirt to get rid of her spit and looked at Olivia confused which made her burst out laughing. Gosh, rich chicks were crazy.“Don’t look at me.” Olivia shook her head. I smiled and got some more shots for Olivia and me. It was time to put my feelings aside and have some fun.We danced with the group and fuck, these women were so horny and high. The one poured a bottle of alcohol onto herself and almost fell overboard, but luckily I grabbed her hand. Gosh. I stopped drinking after that and decided to

I froze. Olivia was attracted to me? How didn’t I notice? I honestly thought she was just being friendly. Don’t we behave as normal friends do?“You are?” I asked and I could hear the surprise in my own voice.“Yeah, you’re so sweet and handsome. I had a crush on you since the first day.” Olivia smiled then continued, “When I found out about you and Kiara I was so jealous.”“Olivia, I’m sorry, I had no idea.”“Why are you sorry? You have a girlfriend that you love. I can’t be sad because you’re happy.”I also turned onto my side to face her and moved the hair out of her face. She had helped me with Kiara and been a good friend all while I didn’t even notice she was in pain. Maybe I felt like I wanted her for a reason… maybe my earlier thought about wanting to be with her was real. Fuck, what was going on with me?“I don’t want you to hurt. You’re a gorgeous woman and anyone man would love to be called yours.” I smiled and touched the side of her face.“But not you.” She sadly laughed

“I thought…” I started to say but decided not to complete that sentence. I needed to learn how to keep my mouth shut and not upset Kiara.“Where else would I be? I haven’t seen my boyfriend in 3 days and he’s been ignoring me since we fought.” Kiara replied and walked over to me. She went onto her tippy toes and placed a kiss on my lips.Shit. Maybe she didn’t hate me… yet. I still had to tell her about Olivia. Fuck, this is probably the last time I’ll be able to kiss her.I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me. My hand went to the side of her face and I pressed my lips against hers. Kiara smiled as I kissed her then kissed me back. Our lips danced together while our tongues caressed the others. With that kiss, I told her how much I missed her, how much I hated being away and how sorry I was for causing our fight. Kiara’s hands went beneath my shirt and our kiss became more heated.“Wait, love… we have to talk first,” I whispered as I pulled my lips off of hers.

"Police officers are on the search for suspect Calvin Sinclair. A 34-year-old male that has been accused of manslaughter. He is believed to be dangerous..." The lady on the news stated as I paid for the bottle of water at the till. I tried to act calm and hoped the cashier would not notice me; I kept my face down so my hoodie could hide my identity. "Calvin was last seen with this man, Jason Hinral." The news continued and a photo popped up on the screen. "Thank you," I replied as she handed me my change. I glanced at her quickly and could see she recognized me. Fucking hell. I grabbed the water and sprinted out of the small shop by the garage. "Go!" I shouted and jumped into the vehicle Calvin and I had stolen. He started the engine and sped away. Let's start this story in the beginning. Your first high will always be the best. Everything afterwards is just a downgrade. Calvin started taking crystal meth more often after school. He found the smallest excuses to claim the situati

“Hey, Jason.” Olivia softly said and moved to sit on her knees. My heart started to race as I looked away from her.“What’s going on?” I asked Kiara who offered me a smile before climbing onto the bed next to Olivia.“Well, you said you were attracted to her. Plus, you never got to fuck so this was what I thought you wanted.” Kiara replied and ran her hand up Olivia’s thigh. “You never said how sexy she was, Jason.” She added and moved closer to kiss Olivia’s neck.Olivia’s eyes met mine and I saw they were full of lust. My mind was spinning. What on earth was happening? Why did I like this?“How do you know each other?” I pressed on for information.“Well,” Olivia started to talk while Kiara still kissed her neck. Olivia’s voice was luscious and deeper than usual. “We ran into each other after work today. I think she was there to see you but we just started talking… and here we are.”Kiara pulled away from Olivia and came toward me. As her lips claimed mine, I tasted the hint of stra

Being in a 3-way relationship was interesting, to say the least. Olivia and I decided to keep it a secret at work since it was probably against company policies. Plus, Sue would ask way too many questions. We all spent our free time together, went on dates together, held hands in public... slept together. I thought it would have been a lot to handle 2 women but we all helped each other out. Kiara and I had our things, such as gaming, taking her on normal ("average wealth") dates and baking. While Olivia and I did more physical activities together, such as hiking or water sports. Then we had things that we did together. These included movies, bowling, pool games, clubs and board games. I got to know Olivia more and even things I didn't know about Kiara came up. As I was walking past the woman's bathrooms at work, Olivia pulled me in before anyone would notice. "Olive?" I laughed as she pressed me against the wall. "I just wanted to have a few seconds alone with you." She replied a

"Jason, before you go, can I have a word?" Sue asked at the end of work the next day. It was Friday today and I planned to spend the weekend with Kiara and Olivia. We had booked into a hotel near a dam and specially asked for the biggest size bed that they had. It was about an hour's drive from Joburg. "Sure, Sue. What's up?" I smiled and stepped aside to talk to her. "Listen, my boy, the lawyers want to rush along having you take over the company." "Oh. Do you think I'm ready?" "Of course I do. You're proven yourself multiple times. I know you don't believe in yourself but I do. The Porter surname suits you well." She chuckled and held my hands in hers. "When will this happen?" "Monday my daughter is flying over. She needs to be here as a witness. We'll hold a ceremony that Wednesday and then sign everything on Thursday." "I can't wait to meet your daughter, if she's anything like you I'm sure we'll get along." I smiled and placed a kiss on Sue's cheek. "Oh, you little charme

2 years later...I hadn’t spoken to Kiara since that day. I fell into this dark pit where I was so angry but couldn’t do anything about it. I kept my promise to Allan. I didn’t take revenge. I got justice.I gained proof of the warden's illegal ways and the deals he made with the inmates. I found out he arranged the hit since I was taking my time. My lawyer helped me build a case, and together we got the warden put away for the rest of his life.To be honest, it didn’t make me feel better, but I knew it was all I could do.I couldn’t face Kiara. I refused to read her letters, take her calls, or even see her when she came to visit. For a year, she kept trying, but eventually the letters stopped coming. I just needed time alone. I needed to heal, and I did. I found peace.I even had my sentence reduced. Today I was getting out.“Do you have someone coming to pick you up?” The officer asked as he checked me out at the entrance. He gave me a normal pair of clothes, my secret cell phone, a

Allan stared back at me as his eyes darted across my face.“What does that have to do with me?” He finally asked, which made me run my hand through my hair.“I need to talk to Kiara first before I decide anything.” I shrugged and stepped closer to him. “But I do like you, Allan.” I paused and flicked my eyes down to his lips. “You’re gorgeous. I’m intrigued by you. I want to get to know you more, but I also need you to be able to defend yourself. I won't always be here to protect you.” I paused and touched the side of his face. “I don’t know if it’s just lust or if it could be something more. If you’re willing, I’d like to figure it out together.”Allan’s eyes closed for a brief second as he seeped in the warmth from my hand on his face. I watched his chest rise and fall and felt myself totally mesmerised by him. Kiara was the only other person who had that effect on me. So, for a second, I was scared. I wanted to step back and run away from him, but I knew I would always have that ‘w

Allan took a step closer and looked down at my erection, then up at my lips, then at my eyes.“You didn’t finish.” He mumbled so seductively that it made my cheeks go red.“Oh, uh, it’s fine, man.” I said and made the mistake of flickering my eyes down to his lips, trying to get out of his gaze.Allan then closed the distance between us as he pressed his lips against mine. My body froze as his warm lips stayed on mine for a second or two before my brain kicked in and pushed him back harder than I intended. His back hit the wall as he stared back at me.“What the hell, man?” I hissed as I pushed away from the bed and stepped closer to him. “Are you gay or something?” I demanded and grabbed a hand full of his shirt."Y-yeah, I am.” He stuttered as he looked up at me, frowning. “I just thought I could help you get rid of that erection.”Shit, I don’t know if it was the way he sounded so innocent or the way I hated seeing him frown. This irresistible urge to kiss him flooded my thoughts.

I grunted as I turned around and slid back onto the bottom bunk of the bed. Allan wasn’t my problem. He needed to stand up for himself.Nothing else was said that night. Allan climbed onto the top bunk and, after a while, softly let the tears fall. He thought I was asleep and did it so quietly that no one else would hear. That was the first secret of his I kept.***Weeks turned into months, and I barely spoke to Allan. He stopped sitting at my table, only said a word or two to me in the cell, and was rejected by all the gangs that he started spending a lot of time with the ladies. It made things worse for him. Inmates picked on him for being a bitch and humiliated him whenever the opportunity rose. The kid just took it. It was like he thought he deserved to be beaten up. I tried so hard not to care and just let him be, but shit, a piece of my heart went out to the kid. I couldn’t watch it, so every time I just walked away, I saw the aftermath later on when Allan turned in for lights

The cafeteria was like a stereotypical jail-style cafeteria. Officers stood around while the inmates on kitchen duty served the rest of us on a plastic plate. It smelled of dirty cooking oil and rotting food that was stuck between the planks of the tables. Whoever was on cleaning duty never cared enough to clean properly, but heck, we were in jail. No one puts in that much effort. Everything was given the bare minimum.Klip and I grabbed our plates and stood in line, a spoonful of what looked like vomit piling onto the plate. Boiled cabbage stew first, then rice on top. I glared at the inmate serving me, and he quickly stood up straight and apologised. Fuck, who added rice last, this fucking idiot? I rolled my eyes and walked over to the table closest to the door."Uh, Jay isn’t this…" Klip asked behind me but decided to rather shut up as I sat down.He hesitated but sat down next to me as well. I mixed the rice and stew together, then glanced up as footsteps approached. Donnie stoppe

The first few months in jail were the worst. The inmates tested me. I was beat up; I beat some of them up... I had to prove myself and show how tough I could be. Eventually, I knocked out enough inmates to make the others back off and stop messing with me.I had so much time to just think about everything and sort out my mind. I started reading, working out, and even got a tattoo of Kiara’s name on my chest. I quickly had to learn how to bargain and do certain favours for the wardens and powerful inmates. There were a bunch of gangs formed in the jail, and all of them tried to win me over, but I refused all of their offers and kept to myself. I made sure I was respected by everyone and even made friends with the officers. I liked being the middle man.For two years, I had my own cell and was mostly left alone to do my own thing. From all the working out, I had muscles and grew super strong. I looked great and was no longer that skinny, awkward man that Kiara fell in love with. Heck,

3 days later..."Jason, you have been linked to multiple thefts and charged with possession of an illegal firearm. Not to mention that the judge still needs to decide if killing Ricardo was self-defense. We're looking at multiple life charges already." The lawyer sighed and shook his head before he added, "I suggest you agree to plead guilty." I looked away from him and out the window, where I saw Kiara impatiently waiting on the engine of her car. I had been held at the local police station since the whole Ricardo shooting incident. 3 days and 2 nights without sex. Shit. Kiara would come visit every day and demand that I be released. She caused such a commotion that she was not banned from entering the station while I was being held. I could have left... I was offered bail until the court date, but I refused to let Sue, JB, or even Kiara pay it. Maybe I wanted to punish myself for all the crimes I committed. The real punishment wasn't sleeping on a bench or staying in a cell; it wa

I felt my feet hit the hard dirt and could hear the other two vehicles speeding towards us. My neck hurt, and my head was pounding. I tried my best to walk forward, but I stumbled, which made Kiara wrap her arms around my waist to help support me."Come on, baby." Kiara said as we started to walk away from the crash. "I don't know where we're going, but I know we just need to keep moving." "Wait, wait." I stopped her and looked back at the crush. "My gun is under the seat. I need to get it." "I'll get it; stay here." Kiara demanded and left me to run back to the van. I bent down and put my hands on my knees, which helped stop my head from spinning. Soon Kiara was back and handed me the gun, which I slipped into my pocket. "Okay, let's go." I grabbed Kiara's hand, and we started jogging off.I kept looking back as the car stopped and the boss and his men ran after us on foot, as there were many large boulders and trees, which meant they couldn't take the vehicles. It was also getti

The sky was lit with colours of pink, red and orange. A soft breeze blew and stirred up dust into the air. The land was filled with small shrubs, cacti, dry grass and sand. It was like everything around us went in slow motion. I had time to describe every detail of Axels face, and how his body hit the ground. He landed face first with his eyes still open while his blood seeped into the sand. His arms were at his side and his knees bent to the side. He didn't breathe, he didn't blink, he didn't move. Even when Kiara screamed his name and wind flew dust towards us. He wasn't bothered. He just lay there. Then suddenly everything went back to normal speed as another shot went off and hit one tire of the van, making it sink down to the rim. My body jerked into motion as I grabbed Kiara and pulled her behind the side of the van, incase the sniper tried to shoot us. "Stay here, Kiara!" I yelled and looked from her tearing eyes to peek around the door to see where the sniper shot from."
