Chapter 82: Moving away

The next morning, Barbara was the first to wake up which is unlike her, she packed her stuff, and she wanted to go away, away from everything, the pain in her heart.

She felt she was hurt seeing Derrick and Claudia in bed but that was just a little of her pain, Dante's betrayal is enough to make her go crazy, she is down but trying her best to be strong.

"You are leaving?" Hazel asked seeing her with bags.

"Yes, I have to go." Barbara's voice was low, yet clear like she hadn't cried herself through the night.

"Did your dad know about this?" Hazel asked.

"Yes, he permitted me to leave." Barbara takes a few step forward and then halt. "Thanks for loving me even if it's not genuine."

Hazel's eyes darken, yet having a smiling face, it turns out that Claudia's plan worked a bit, if all these wouldn't happen Barbara would never leave and how Barbara could see through her all the time is one thing she can't figure out.

"I go on now."

"Say me well to your grandfather." Barbara nodded walking b
