The rest of the day felt like an iceberg the size of the earth had fallen, the surrounding felt cold with guilt, frustration, and unease flying in the air. Will stared at Zayn seated in front of the cameras while he handled the interview like he hadn't just bursted out in anger some hours ago.

He had managed to push the interview by a few hours, and thankfully that was all they needed. Newton had gotten another car over and they had headed back to the house, Zayn had helped press on an ice pack on his cheek until the redness had faded even when he kept telling him he was fine, and that ice was mostly used for swelling.
