"Are you ready to go home, Ari?" I stroked my girl's hairs lovingly.

Our plane was ready to take off. Arianna looked around the coastal airstrip. I assumed trying to live her last moments on the land where she grew up.

"We have beautiful beaches in the States too. We can spend our vacations there." Sebestian picked her in his arms and kissed her.

"Really, Dad!" She smiled widely.

"Yes, you can invite your brother Noah on the trip. Charlotte told me that you miss him." Sebestian talked to her in order to distract her from being sad.

I looked down at my boy and picked him. I didn't want him to feel neglected. He had been pampered by me as my only child.

"I think your Dad chose his favorite child." I kissed him and climbed up the set of stairs to enter inside the plane.

"Dad loves both of us equally, Mom. He's only trying to make Arianna feel welcome in our family. She lives with her other family and it makes her sad to leave them." He responded as I expected him.
