Lifetime commitment

I opened the door and strode down the steps without any light in my hand, as I was already aware of the way out here. I descended with each step, and my breath was getting heavier while my heartbeat was increasing rapidly.

I keep having bad feelings, and I do not know what is wrong. When I walked into the hallway of my secret basement, my heart started to race, and I turned on the lights.

I called her name, "Julia," but she did not answer, which made me even more worried.

"Kitten, I am coming," I told her, but she did not answer. Even the sound of her breathing was gone, and I went up to her room. I was glad to see that she was asleep on the bed when I opened the door.

"I know you can sleep anywhere, Julia, but I did not think you would sleep here. "Wake up; there is something you need to know. When you hear it, I know you will jump up and down with joy, and I want to be the only one there to see it," I told her. Still, she did not move at all, which caught me by surprise.
