Chapter 25. SELFISH

(Freya's POV)

"Get away from me!" I shouted, loudly. I tried to push him.

My eyes widened in surprise as I heard someone knocking on the door, I kept trying to push Ash to let me go.

"Are you out of your mind?! Let go of me, you bastard!" I shouted. I didn't want my employees to see it and think badly of me.

Right at that moment, the door opened and my body stiffened with fear and panic. I kept pushing Ash, but he grinned with satisfaction as he saw my face turn pale.

Instead of letting me go, he deliberately kissed my lips. I was frightened and panicked when I saw the door open. Just then, I saw Henry standing in the doorway with a shocked expression.

"Damn it, what have you done?!" he shouted angrily.

I pushed Ash's body roughly and wiped my lips. I ran straight to Henry who wanted to beat Ash up. I held both his hands, trying to calm him down.

"No, Henry. Don't," I pleaded in a trembling voice. I gripped his wrist tightly.
