CHAPTER 90

(Freya's POV)

I have been waiting for more than an hour and there has been no news from the operating room. The door was still closed and the red sign was still on. I waited anxiously with Henry while Reece took Violet home. It was Reece's idea because it wouldn't be good to let Violet be there after what happened to them before. And I entrusted Violet to Reece.

“Don't worry,” Henry said, holding my hand. We sat in the waiting room feeling restless from earlier.

I glanced at him, nodding.

Not long after that, the doctor came out in a hurry. And I immediately ran over to him.

"How is my child's condition?!" I shouted while shaking his arms.

"We are still trying to do our best and we need your help," he said, taking a deep breath. "Are you both parents?" he asked later.

"Yes, I'm her mom," I said firmly.

"So he is the father?" he asked, looking at Henry.

"No, I’m not," answered Henry.

He shook his head. “No, we need his biological father. But if you belong to the same group as the patie
