My plan works

I woke up with a renewed determination to make Jaxon pay for the hurt of the previous day and I knew exactly what I needed to do to get his attention. I got into the shower, dressed up and came downstairs only to be welcomed with a lovely smell coming from the kitchen.

Jaxon had made breakfast and with smiles that were capable of breaking any icy heart,he said “hello Ayla,come have a seat dear,I made breakfast”. I was shocked as this was a new Jaxon entirely different from the man I was with last night. He drew out a chair for me and I sat down as he laid the cup of coffee and toast in front of me.

I didn't realize how hungry I really was until I had started to eat and was truly grateful that he had fixed breakfast. “I'll be going out to meet a friend Jaxon” I said to him. He looked at me intently while furrowing his brows. “a friend huh” he asked and I concentrated on my breakfast ignoring him intentionally.
