Mirabelle's POV:

I swallowed, my throat dry. "But what if you do?" I asked quietly. "What if you keep working with her? And then you end up getting close to her in a way that I can’t handle? What happens to us then?" I finally voiced my insecurity and didn't act as strong as I did before.

Noah shifted, sitting up fully now, and his expression softened. "Mirabelle, you have to trust me. I've never given you a reason to doubt me, have I?" I stared at him for a long moment. I didn’t want to admit it, but I felt like everything had changed.

"I want to trust you," I finally said, my voice barely above a whisper. "But how can I? I know it’s silly, but seeing you with Natasha—it just feels like you’re slipping away from me."

Noah’s jaw tightened, and he reached out, placing a hand on my knee. "Mirabelle, you need to trust me. Especially after everything we’ve been through." I felt my chest tighten.

"I know," I said, forcing out a smile. "I know you’ve always had my back, and I’m grateful

Noah's POV: “I’ve missed you so much.” I confessed genuinely, fumbling for her bra clasp. “Same,” She moaned, arching her back. “Front clasp,” Mira explained and with one flick of my fingers, her surprisingly perfect breasts sprang forth, even after having three kids for me. Aren't I so lucky? I definitely was. “Turn around,” I said huskily, placing my hands on her waist. “Ohhhhh,” She moaned, as I got on my knees. Touching my lips to the band of her lace thong, I delicately placed my lips and teeth around the fabric and began pulling it down. “Fuck,” She whispered. I found her laying down with me hovering above her. I massaged her scalp with strong fingers, digging in just the right amount while dropping gentle kisses on her lips, neck and shoulders. Her nipples were so hard I was afraid they’d pop off, and while my dick throbbed with need I grabbed the back of her head gently, pulling her closer for a deep kiss. Bending down, I began to worship her breasts with my ton

Mitchelle's POV:My grip on the glass tightened. Mirabelle. Of course this was about her. It has to be about her. “Get to the point,” I said impatiently. “What exactly are you proposing?” Natasha leaned forward, her voice dropping to a whisper. “I want Noah back. And I can’t do that with Mirabelle playing the perfect wife. But you—” she paused, eyeing me carefully “—you seem to have your own issues with Mirabelle. And don’t try to deny it. I can see it in your eyes.”How the hell did she know about my issues with Estella?“Sounds like you've done a research on me, which means you must know that Mirabelle is my sister. So what makes you think that I would want to engage in such conversations with you.” I countered.“Stepsister.” She corrected me. “And yes I did a research and I discovered that you stole her husband, which also means that you don't really have a relationship with her.” She clapped back. She wasn’t wrong. The anger, the resentment towards her, it had been building for

Mitchelle's POV:He took a step closer. "This is different," He hissed. "I know you’re up to something. You’ve been acting strange for weeks, and now you won’t even tell me where you’ve been."I laughed, but it was bitter and hollow. "You think I’m acting strange? Have you looked in the mirror lately, Ken? You’ve been distant, distracted—like you’re hiding something. So don’t lecture me about secrets."Ken’s face twisted and before I could react, he threw the glass he was holding against the wall. It shattered into a thousand pieces, and the sound echoed through the room like a gunshot. My heart jumped in my chest, but I refused to flinch. I stood my ground, even as he took another step toward me, his eyes blazing with rage."Don’t you dare talk to me like that," he growled, his voice shaking. "You owe me respect.""Respect?" I shot back, my voice rising. "Respect goes both ways, Ken. You don’t get to treat me like I’m some possession you own. I won’t be controlled by you, not anymore

Mitchelle's POV:I followed him. “You said that last month, and the month before that! We’re drowning in debt because of you!”Ken turned around, he grabbed a vase from the counter and hurled it across the room. It shattered against the wall, sending shards of porcelain scattering across the floor. I flinched, my breath catching in my throat.“Don’t push me, Mitchelle. The next time it might just be you that will be flung across the room.” He hissed. “I’m doing everything I can, and I won’t have you standing there, acting like you’re some saint when you’ve done nothing but sit around and criticize.”For a moment, I couldn’t find my voice. I stared at him, my heart pounding, and I wondered how it had come to this—how did the man I once loved had become a stranger who only knew how to shout and break things. I wanted to scream, to throw something back at him, but I was too exhausted. I had no more fight left in me.Instead, I turned away, my hands trembling as I grabbed my phone from th

Noah's POV: She felt so small against me, and I held her tightly. “Nothing’s going to happen,” I said quietly. “I promise. You have to believe me. It’s just work.” Her body tensed for a moment, but then she relaxed, nodding her head slowly. “Sure,” she whispered, though her voice lacked warmth. “But you should tell the kids at breakfast that you’re leaving. I won't be the one breaking the news nor would I handle Mika's drama.” ‘Guess I can't skip breakfast then.’ I said to myself. “I will,” I said, releasing her. She started to turn away when a thought crossed her mind, and she stopped, looking back at me with a playful frown. “Wait a second!” She said, tilting her head. “When are you even coming back?” I froze, unsure of what to say. I hadn’t even thought that far ahead. “I... I’m not sure,” I admitted finally. “Hopefully, it won’t be long.” She sighed and shook her head, a small smile tugging at her lips. “Just make sure you come back early, Noah.” I laughed softly. “I promis

Mirabelle’s POV:Sitting at my desk, I tried to focus on the document in front of me, but the words blurred, and I found myself staring blankly at the screen. Noah’s voice still echoed in my mind from this morning, his promises sounding sincere, yet his sudden trip left me uneasy. I had accepted his reassurances, or at least I had tried. When we had resolved our issues, I had wanted to believe him—believe in us—but now I couldn’t shake the doubts that crept into my thoughts. Why did it have to be so soon? Why did this business trip with Natasha have to be moved up? I was tired of doubting, tired of feeling like I was on the outside of my own marriage, but the timing felt too inconvenient. Natasha’s name hung in my mind like a dark cloud. The woman always seemed to be right there, just close enough to make me disgusted.I shook my head and tried to focus again, my fingers drumming nervously against the desk. A knock on my office door startled me, and I looked up to see Claire, a boa

Mirabelle’s POV:The days slipped by faster than I expected, and before I knew it, the night before Noah's trip to Shanghai had arrived. We were in our bedroom, and he was packing his bags, folding shirts, and arranging everything in a kind of way that always made me smile. I watched him from the edge of the bed, my thoughts racing.I kept telling myself to stay strong, repeating it like a chant—Nothing is going to happen. Noah is nothing like him. Noah is not like Ken. Noah is mine and would never hurt me. Yet, despite the reassurance, there was a subtle voice in my head trying to remind me that Noah and Ken both came from the same sperm. There was a part of me that wanted to cling to him, to demand that he stayed and not leave me behind, but I knew better. I wouldn’t let those insecurities rule me.“Are you sure you’ve got everything?” I asked. I hated how fragile I sounded, how small I felt just sitting there and watching him prepare to leave. Noah glanced up at me and smiled. “

Mirabelle's POV:“Daddy, please don’t go!” Mika’s voice was choked with sobs, as she clutched the front of his shirt with tiny fingers. “I want to come with you!”Noah’s smile faltered, and he hugged her tighter. “I know, sweetheart. I wish I could take you with me. But like I said, I need you to be here and take care of Mommy and your brothers. Okay? Can you do that for me?”Mika shook her head, her face buried in his shoulder, but Noah kept speaking softly to her until she finally nodded, sniffling and wiping at her eyes. Tyler, trying to be brave, gave Noah a quick hug and promised to help out around the house while he was gone. Skyler just stood back, his eyes wide and serious, as if he were still processing what it meant for Noah to be leaving. Finally, Noah stood up, giving the kids one last smile before turning to me. “Ready?” he asked, and I nodded. We left the house together, waving goodbye as Jamie led the kids back inside for breakfast before she dropped them off at school

Morgana's POV:FIVE YEARS LATER………“Noah!” I called out, tying my hair back with a band.Where could he be? Suddenly, I bumped into someone. Looking up, I saw it was the cook in her white apron and cap. Sighing deeply, I asked, “Where is he? Please tell me you found him.”“I couldn’t find him, Ma'am,” She replied, her head hung low. “This house is huge; he could be anywhere. I had the maids search everywhere for him. We’ll find him soon, I promise.”“I hope so, Lola. Xavier is on his way back, and he hates it when his rest is disturbed.”“Don’t worry, ma'am. We’ll definitely find him before Sir returns, trust me…”“I found him!” Someone called out, and we hurried toward the voice. We entered the library and saw a maid standing by the door.“Where is he?” I asked.“Behind the third shelf,” She replied curtly. “You both can leave now,” I instructed. “And please shut the door behind you.”I moved behind the third shelf to find my sweet pie crouched down, his head hanging low.“What's

I asked, still struggling with the seal.“Divorce papers!” He replied and my hands froze in the air.“Y-you are kidding right?”“Do I look like I came all the way here to joke?” He asked, sounding all serious and impatient. Tears filled my eyes as I looked at the man I called my husband. “Why are you doing this to me, Simon? What have I ever done to you to deserve this?”“Honestly, I can’t believe you’re asking me this right now,” He began. “Marilyn is stuck in a wheelchair for God knows how long, and she has a severe brain injury that I can only pray she recovers from. And you're asking me what you've done to deserve this when you actually deserve more!”“So this is all because of Marilyn huh?” I asked, staring deeply at him. “I am telling you I didn't push her off the fucking stairs. She fell while trying to push me down.”“Why should I believe you?” He sneered

When?’It finally dawned on me, the night Marilyn's divorce was announced in the news and she had contacted Simon for emotional support. He came back home extremely happy and drunk, and that night we had sex for the very first time. The next morning when he woke up he hated me more, he claimed that I took advantage of his drunken state to have my way with him.How did that one night together result in pregnancy?‘Simon needs to know about this, he will come for me the moment he finds out that I am pregnant with his child.’ I thought.“She is awake.” I heard a male voice announce. Morgana's POV:“You are under arrest for attempting to murder Miss. Marilyn Pearce.” Agent Cooper began. ‘Attempted murder? Under arrest?’ My mind suddenly began to race. “Simon, are you aware of this?” I asked turning to face him, there was absolutely no way he would allow these men take me in. This was obviously one of Marilyn's schemes. “All your questions will be answered in court, Mrs. Langston.” Agent Cooper said coldly. “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one, an attorney will be provided for you.” He said, as he moved in to cuff me.“She tried to push me, I moved away and she fell, that's all!” I protested, crying bitterly.“I suggest you cooperate, Mrs Morgana, or you might lose any chance of getting an attorney.” Agent Carter cautioned. And just like that, I was handcuffed and dragged to the police car while my husband stood there staring at me

  • CEO EX-HUSBAND REGRET    Chapter One Hundred and Eighteen.

CHAPTER One Hundred and Eighteen. Noah's POV. The early morning light filtered through the curtains, painting the room in soft hues of gold. I lay on my side, watching her sleep, Mirabelle. My wife. The woman who had somehow managed to drive me to the brink of madness and still make me fall head over heels for her every single day. Her dark lashes fanned against her cheeks, her breathing soft and even. There was a slight flush to her skin, her lips parted enough for me to see that faintest smile tugging at the corners. She looked so peaceful, so beautiful. My chest tightened as I took her in, my heart swelling with emotions that I still couldn't quite put into words. I couldn't help but smile, it has been a year since everything–since the chaos that Natasha had unleashed on our lives. A year since we’d nearly lost everything. But now? Now, our life was a calm that I never thought I would really experience. Filled with laughter, love and the promise of new beginnings. My gaze drif

CHAPTER One Hundred and Seventeen. Mirabelle's POV. The first thing I noticed was the sound–a steady rhythmic beeping that pierced through the haze of my mind. It was faint at first, distant, like an echo calling me from the depths of a fog I couldn't escape. My head throbbed, a dull persistent ache, and my eyelids felt impossibly heavy as I tried to open them. The light was too bright. I squinted, the sterile white of the room assaulting my senses. Everything was blurred, shapes and shadows bending together in a surreal dance. I blinked, my lashes wet with tears I hadn't realised were there, and slowly, the world began to take shape. A hospital room. The faint antiseptic smell hit me next, mingling with the sterile cold air. My body felt alien, like it wasn't mine. My limbs were leaden, my chest tight and a sharp pain radiated from the right side of my abdomen. I tried to shift, sit up, but the movement sent a fiery wave of pain tearing through me, forcing a gasp from my lips.

CHAPTER 116.Mirabelle's POV. He was here. My Noah, my husband. The man who I betrayed but still protected me like I didn't, even though he denied it to himself. He looked panicked when he came in here, but now, his gaze was suddenly cold. His expression was unreadable and it scared me, like the calm before the storm. I knew Noah was going to save me, he wasn't going to leave me to die because of what I did to him, right?I wasn't even sure anymore, I was on the brink of death and thinking stupid things. At least if he didn't save me, I was sure that he would save our kids. “Noah…” my voice broke, but he didn't look at me. His eyes was fixed on Natasha, who stood with that wicked smile on her face, holding all the power. Her eyes gleamed like she was enjoying every moment of this. Of course she was. “You'll regret this.” Noah said, his voice sharp like a blade, cutting through the tension. Natasha just laughed, her head tilting back slightly as those he had told her a joke.“Oh

CHAPTER 115.Mirabelle's POV. A sharp, stinging pain exploded behind my eyes as I slowly regained consciousness, my head felt heavy, and my vision swam, disoriented by the dim, flickering light of the room. The first thing I noticed was the metallic smell of blood. My blood, my lip throbbed, split from what I assume was a blow. As my vision cleared, panic set in. My wrists were tied behind me, the coarse rope biting into my skin. My ankles were bound to the legs of a chair, I tried to shift, but the chair wouldn't budge from the floor. The cold metal pressed on my chest felt foreign, and when I dared to look down, my breath caught in my throat. A bomb. Wires tangled over my body, a cruel, intricate web of destruction. The timer on the device blinked ominously, though it was yet to start. My heart hammered against my ribs. The sound deafening my ears. “No.” I whispered, shaking my head in disbelief. “No, no, no….”My eyes darted around the room, desperate for answers, desperate f
