60: Who am I?

Layla’s POV

In a heartbeat, Nadia had rushed to my side and she quickly gathered me into her arms and rocked me silently in a bid to calm me. I was certain that she could feel how my entire body was trembling and my body temperature had risen up a fee notches because of how loudly I’d screamed.

My head that’d calmed down earlier had also resumed it’d banging, but as much as I wanted to close my eyes to soothe the aches, I was scared that I’d be assaulted by another unwanted vision of the terrifying she-wolves I’d just seen in an odd gathering.

“It's fine Layla, you're fine” Nadia patted my hair as she held my head against bee chest like a protective mother hen.

I dragged in a deep breath at how calming her words were alongside her motherly gestures.

“I'm sure it's just your has headache, you must’ve slept poorly at night,” She assured me as she rubbed my back tenderly.

Oh, but I knew it’d had nothing to do with my headache but it wouldn't help matters if I shared the horrific sight I’d
