As Genevieve laughed at something the guy said, she felt a shift in the air and turned to see me striding toward her. My eyes burned in rage and I felt my vein throbbing in

Her eyes widened in surprise, and the guy, noticing the change in her demeanor, followed her gaze. My glare was icy, and the guy quickly backed away, realizing Genevieve wasn’t available.

The guy went away and I turned to Genevieve. She seemed to be so drunk but tried to hold her consciousness. I let out a deep sigh and grabbed her arm, my grip firm.

"We’re leaving,"

I said, my voice low and controlled. I was not in the mood after seeing the guy and she flirting. How could she ?

Suddenly Genevieve slapped my hand away, her eyes flashing with anger.

"Get your hands off me!"

she shouted loud enough to gain the attention of the bartender. I gave him a stern look and he started focusing on his work.

"Go back to your fiancée, and leave me alone!"
