I stood in front of the mirror, droplets of water still clinging to my skin as I wrapped myself tightly in a soft white towel. The steam from my recent bath swirled around me, the warmth lingering in the air.

I could feel Roman’s gaze on me — intense and unwavering, like a tangible heat on my back. I didn’t have to look to know that he was watching my every move.

The feeling made my heart skip a beat.
