Kola stared at me as his eyes held mine. I swallowed my saliva million times, I think my salivary gland dried up for that moment.

"Did your hand touch my hair?" He asked.

Oh good heavens! What kind of voice is this?

I slowly nodded before I opened my mouth. "Sorry" I murmured slowly.

He looked at me for a few seconds before dropping his head back on the couch.

Babe, what the hell just happened? Or do you have some explanation to what just happened? My subconscious asked.

"I'll go and drop her at her hostel" Paul said as he picked up the car keys from the table.

"Buy her food at chicken rep oo" Mayorkun said.

"Sure” Paul replied swinging the car keys in his fingers.

The boys except Kola also stood up and followed us outside. We got into the car while Felix and Maryorkun opened the gates.

"I'll be ready for you next time" David yelled as the boys burst into laughter.

"You better practice well" Paul replied as he started the car and reversed.

I waved at the boys as Paul drove into the streets. He turned into another road as he sped along the tarred road. His right hand went to the turning switch in the car as he put on the radio and a song by Naira Marley started playing. I rested my back on the chair as the AC blew on my face.

"What was Kola saying to you?" Paul asked.

"Huh?" I asked turning to Paul.

"It looked like you were eye fucking each other" Paul added as he burst into laughter and I grew red.

"What's your problem? Can't you just stop using that word?" I asked whining.

"C'mon, it’s not like I can't use another word but that was what you guys we're doing" Paul said cackling into laughter.

I shrugged in reply as I increased the volume of the music in the car.

The Chicken Republic Mayorkun was talking about came into view as he drove inside. He parked the car and we got down.

"Paul!" someone called out.

"How far nah?" Paul greeted as some boys started walking towards us.

"My geeeeeee" another guy drawled pulling Paul for a bro hug.

I stood by the side as Paul greeted some boys. The boys faces, dressings and attitudes screamed;

"Who be this fine babe?" One of them asked.

"She's my cousin" Paul replied.

"Your cousin?" One of them asked his eyes wide.

"Yeah she is" Paul replied proudly.

"She's so fineee" the guy said with a tipped smile as he turned towards me.

"Showboy, what's your name?" He said stretching his hand towards me. I stretched my hand as I frowned slightly.

"Jola" I replied.

"Jola?" Showboy asked to confirm.

"Anjolaoluwa" I replied.

"Whoa!" Showboy said nodding his head.

"Is Showboy your name?" I asked.

"Nope" Showboy replied.

"What is it then?" I asked.

"Tolulope" Shoboy replied.

I laughed slightly as I shook my head. Showboy smiled widely as he watched me laugh.

Yo! FUTA has a whole lot of fine boys.

"What's funny he asked?" Showboy asked.

"Nicknames should come from your names right?" I asked with a small smile.

"Yeah, why?" Showboy replied.

"I can't find showboy in Tolulope" I replied.

He laughed slightly as he released my hand.

"That was cute" Showboy said.

"You are in what department?" Showboy asked.

"CSC" I replied.

"Iwe ooo" the boys hailed as I smiled slightly. (Iwe o- means Book. It’s a form of hailing people who are very brilliant and intelligent).

"SVG" Showboy said with a small smile.

"SVG?" I asked and he nodded.

He's cute alright but he certainly doesn't look like someone who has something upstairs or the capacity to handle such a department.

"I'll see you guys later" Paul said as we walked away.

The security guard pushed the door opened and Paul slapped handshakes with him which told me, he obviously frequented this place. There were all kinds of people inside, talking, eating and making noise.

We approached the counter and I leaned causally on it as brought my phone to my face.

"How far nah?" Paul said to the lady who was at the counter while she laughed in reply.

"How are you?" Paul asked.

"I’m fine" the girl replied.

Hope they are not stressing you too much?" Paul asked with a small smile.

"Paul what do want? The usual?" the girl asked with a bored expression.

"Nah" Paul replied.

"So?" the girl asked again.

"Fried rice and salad" Paul replied.

"Fried rice and salad?" the girl asked.

"Yup" Paul replied.

"Who's eating that? Definitely not your friends and of course, not you" the girl said.

"It’s for my girlfriend" Paul said cheekily.

I shook my head at his sleazy tone.

This one is just mad anyhow.

"Your girlfriend?" the girl asked.

"Yeah" Paul replied with a wide grin.

"Whoa! That’s new” the girl said.

"Woo.... Are you jealous?" Paul teased.

The girl laughed as she picked one of the trays and used it to hit Paul on his shoulder.

"Ouch! That was painful nah. I've told you not to be using that thing to hit me" Paul said as he made a pouty face.

"Then talk to your ever running lips" the girl replied as she packed the food inside a nylon.

Paul smiled, "Well Aunty Joy meet my cousin, Anjola" Paul said.

I almost puked.

Aunty Joy? You sure are kidding me.

"Oh my, how are you?" Joy asked.

I raised my head to look at her and smiled.

"I’m fine" I replied.

"Welcome to FUTA" Joy said as I winced.

Is that the only statement you people can say? Welcome to FUTA, yen yen yen.

I smiled before replying. "Thank you"

"Hope you enjoy your stay" Joy said with a sincere smile.

"I will" I replied as I collected the food nylon.

"So if any guy brings her here, be sure to bill them" Paul said with a crackled laughter as I glared at him.

"Noted" Joy said as she walked towards the ice cream machine and put ice cream into a cup.

"I didn't say I want ice cream" Paul said while Joy ran her eyes up and down his body and made a face "When did I say it’s for you?" Joy asked.

"Jola darling, take this, It’s my welcome gift" Joy said with a smile.

I smiled at her trying to stifle my laughter as I collected it.

"Thank you" I thanked her sincerely.

Paul was still frowning as he stretched his ATM cars towards her.

Joy pushed it back to him "Never mind, since the food is for her; bills on me" Joy said as Paul made a face.

"Ha! You never treated me this nice nahh" Paul exclaimed and looking at his face, I burst into laughter. I just couldn't help it.

Joy smiled as she pushed Paul out of the way.

"You are not the only customer here" Joy said.

Paul smirked as we started walking out. He suddenly turned and called out:

"Aunty Joy!" The latter turned only for her to see him blowing kisses to her which made her and others laugh.

We got into the car as I shook my head.

"You've got plenty lose bolts Paul" I said laughing.

"Can you fix them for me?" Paul asked as I shook my head.

"I’m busy" I replied.

He laughed as we pulled out of the parking lot.

"I wonder what you will be doing for the next two weeks" Paul said as I glanced at him.

"Why?" I asked.

"Two weeks is met for reg week but your almighty dad, the one with the biggest connections, your red ranger finished it for you in 40 minutes" Paul replied.

I laughed heartily.

Yeah. Paul knew I addressed him as my Red Ranger. Infact, his contact name in my phone is Red Ranger❤.

"I'll watch films" I replied.

"Rather, come and help at the cafe" Paul said.

"Cafe?" I asked puzzled.

"Yeah. We have a shop at the shopping complex. We print and photocopy documents and register and bla bla bla" Paul replied as I raised my eyebrow.

"Whoa!" I said.

"What?" Paul asked with a smile.

"I’m surprised you have a business" I replied as Paul glared at me.

"Jeez Anjola" Paul replied laughing.

"Is it always crowded?" I asked.

"Yeah. There are five computers, you can use one. Kola's face keeps bringing everyone there" Paul replied.

I didn't even know I had a smile on my face.

"See how she's smiling" Paul teased.

"Shut up!" I said playfully.

I smiled as I pressed the chair to the back a little bit and closed my eyes. I heard Paul's phone ring but I didn't open my eyes as he picked it. I opened one of eyes as I heard a girl's voice.

"Hello" a girl said.

"Babe, how are you?" Paul asked.

"Fine, you've met your cousin?" the girl asked.

"Yeah, she's with me" Paul replied.

"Wait Paul, you are driving?" the girl asked as her tone turned motherly.

Paul laughed as he turned into the road of my hostel.

"She's here, do you want to say hi to her?" Paul asked.

"Ohh, hello dearie" the girl said.

"Hi" I replied mouthing to Paul asking him who this was but he was just grinning like an idiot.

"How are you dear?" the girl asked.

"I’m fine" I replied.

"Welcome to FUTA" the girl said as I rolled my eye balls.

"Thank you" I said.

"Ohh sorry, my name is Florence. I’m a student of QSV, 400 level" the girl introduced.

"Whoa! That's nice" I replied with a smile.

"You are in what hostel?" Florence asked.

"The new one with no name" I replied as she burst into laughter. Her laughter sounded like she was singing.

"I stay at Jadesola but I have friends in your hostel, I'll call you and see you when am around" Flrence said as I smiled.

"Okay. Thank you" I said.

"Now back to you goat, how many times do I have to tell you not to call and drive?" Florence asked.

"You called remember" Paul said laughing as we reached the front of my hostel.

"Whatever, where are you?" She asked.

"I went to drop Jola at her hostel" Paul replied.

"Drop by my hostel" Florence said.

"Of course" Paul replied parking the car but not turning the ignition off.

"Flash me when you get here" Florence said.

"Okay" Paul replied as the call ended.

"Who was that?" I asked curious.

"My school mother" Paul replied as my eye widened.

"School mother? Do you have that shit too in university?" I asked in puzzlement.

Paul laughed slightly as he turned the ignition off and turned to me,

"Your choice actually" Paul said with a shrug.

"I see" I replied.

"I'll see you tomorrow" Paul replied.

I glared at him as I picked up the chicken rep nylon and opened the door.

"Where's the cafe?" I asked.

"You'll get lost" Paul replied as I glared at him again.

"Seriously Paul?" I asked.

"Okay, its opposite the senate building" Paul replied laughing again.

I hissed out loudly as I got down.

"Shop?" I asked.

"4" Paul replied.

"Goodnight, do make sure the bedbugs bite" I said laughing.

Paul laughed "Na, I'll like the girls’ hands on my dick instead" Paul replied.

I slammed the door as I hurried down the lane. Another minute with him. I'll get corrupted too.
