Meet again II

He had just finished his appointment and surprisingly in as much as his day has been taking a wrong turn the deal had turned out to be perfect. Sighing as he walked down the street his mind wandered off to what had taken place some hours ago.

That face, those pale grey pupils, why had it been in front of him?? Picking up his designs he had fled. Seemed like his nightmare had be worse for him to start imagining that face in person, yes that had to be it. Picking up his phone he called his supervisor and told him how the deal went and how he had gotten a little bit sick and couldn't come back earning himself a half day leave

Hailing down a cab he headed home as his mind was still filled with so much worry and doubt. What if it was real?? How could he get it over with??? What could he be doing here?? That's if actually he wasn't hallucinating. He had been trying so hard to forget that incident seven years ago and just when he thought it was finally happening that face had to appear again!!! Through out the ride he was absentminded and didn't even know when he got to his apartment.

Paying and entering he saw Kelly was already back as the door was unlocked and her shoe was already at the door side once you entered. Heading to the kitchen to get a cup of water he saw her preparing lunch and smiled. To others they looked like a perfect couple with him sitting on the long stools with a bottle of water which he had already drank from and she cutting vegetables on a board

"I heard the news with your company, geez that's do impromptu. You look tired and stressed out don't tell me you got sacked" she asked after glancing at him and continuing to do her thing

"Well worst than that, I've started to imagine things too"

"What's it, what's wrong? What are you imagining???"

"That face" he muttered and she froze for some seconds before dropping her knife, washed her hands before turning to look at him

"What happened?? Did you take your drugs at all this morning"

He nodded and explained everything to her and she sighed massaging his hair and hugging him

"You might be imagining things, it's been years plus he's continents away from here it might just be stress from overworking yourself. I'll get you a glass of milk after taking it go take a nap, you have dark circles and air bags under your eyes, I'll call you when food is ready. Mum called we'll talk about that when you've gotten enough sleep" she stated before going to get him a glass of warm milk.

When he woke up it was already late, groaning as he rubbed his eyes gently he left bed and heading outside. Kelly was walking on a document in the living room and he sat right beside her pouting as he looked at the soap opera showing on the television

"You said you'll wake me up what happened to that?" He asked and she rolled her eyes

"You were sleeping like a pig, you know I can't tolerate that... So leaving you was the best option" she replied before closing her laptop then turning to face him.

"Did you sleep well?? Do you feel hassy?" She asked and he laughed

"I'm twenty two not a kid,stop treating me like that. Anyways I'm good thanks to that sleep my mind seems a lot clearer"

"That's great, I was waiting for you to wake up though before we can eat. I made spaghetti with vegetables and meatballs"

After eating they talked about a lot of things like his day, the new department and how they were going to keep retaining them including his parents who had called to ask when they will visit

"That will be next month though, I'll talk to mum later before going to bed" he replied and she nodded and showed him her recent designs she was planning to launch for the clothing line they both owned... She owned, ever since high school she's had the dream of an entrepreneur he was a major shareholder who contributed to little things like this

"The color is not right for males , make it a darker shade of green that's suitable" he added and she nodded noting it down while he kept correcting a lot of things, after a while they watched television for a bit before he bade her goodnight and went back to his room.

Calling his parents and talking with them for a little while he ended the call and went to bed because he was feeling a bit tired

Days had gone by very quickly and soon it was time to welcome their new boss, they had renewed their contract with the new boss some days ago and had even received a huge tip for it. Seemed like their new boss was considerate and kind. Even the whole company couldn't wait, there has been lots of rumors going about concerning the new owner not that he cared though as long as his work wasn't affected whoever owned the company didn't matter and currently he was typing furiously when the noise became much outside. Seemed like the new boss had arrived because he could hear whispers and shouts of how young, handsome and charming he was, that's humans for you always making a hill out of nothing

Let's welcome our new CEO MR Machelin Kale" the manager shouted drawing the attention of everybody in his department and he could hear the gasps and silent giggles

Seems like the new boss was already inside his department, he wasn't bothered but wait!!!... That name sounded familiar, it actually ringed a bell in his head 'Machelin'

Looking up from his computer he saw the face he dreaded so much, his worst nightmare... Handsome yet devilishly and brutal. He hadn't been dreaming or imagining things when he first bumped into him days ago, one of the reasons he dreaded his high school days and memories... Machelin Kale!!! He was actually present and he wasn't imagining it.

Staring into those pale grey pupils he could feel his heart pounding, the fear was becoming vivid and his whole body was almost covered in sweat. He was starting to panic and needed fresh air immediately.

"Boss I'll introduce you to the main brains behind every design, as you know this is the most important body of this company" His supervisor stated

"That's not necessary we'll be here together for a long time and I'll take things gradually. Nice to meet you all, your new faces are beautiful and I hope we continue to give it our best shot and please do call me Machelin I'm not old"

The smiles and laughter showed he had won the hearts of almost everybody. How could they love a monster??? Someone who was responsible for all his misery and pains. He could vividly remember how they met the first time like it was yesterday just as he was watching that face his memories went back to seven years ago to the events that led to them meeting each other.

Seven years ago he had woken up to hear the most shocking news of his life, being a regular sixteen year old boy he had washed and dressed up for school only to get the most shocking news of his life while eating breakfast. Sitting down at the dinning with both of his parents present was weird then because one, it hadn't happened in forever and two because he knew he was in get some bad news and he had been right it was all about them moving to another state.

He remembered getting angry and shouting at his parents before stomping off to his room but in the end they had moved after getting his school papers arranged that very day and that was how his nightmare started. Sometimes he wondered if they hadn't moved if things would have been better than it had actually been for him but then again he wouldn't have met Kelly or possibly wouldn't have been close to his parents as he was now so... Everything happened for a reason right?? Except for him all the good things he experienced came with a price
