JULIAN'S POV
I was stunned. Staring at the man I hadn't expected to ever see in my life again, I had no idea what to feel.
I stood by the door, my eyes fixed on him as the scene of what happened between us last night played in my head again.
The cries, the moans, and even the moment he touched my__ butthole to apply medicine.
Ugh!
My cheeks turned red, and I wished I could just run away.
But then, why was he here?
"Mr Julian?"
A voice beside me called, and only then was I able to compose myself.
"What?" I asked, giving the waiter a questioning look.
The waiter revealed a professional smile as he gestured for me to move forward, "You should have a seat, sir," He said.
Wait,
"Have a seat? Why? Didn't you tell me earlier that Mr Xavier is waiting for me? Why do I have to sit with someone else here?" I felt confused.
Maybe the handsome stranger bribed the waiter to bring me after he saw me enter? Although I also wanted to have a talk with the stranger, to at least know his name but this wasn't the right time, and I wasn't in the right frame of mind either.
The waiter looked confused, too. He looked toward the handsome stranger as if begging him to interfere and a frown settled on my face.
What sort of customer service was this?
The handsome stranger looked on casually; his eyes that settled on me looked incredibly cold; it was chilling. "Mr Julian?" He called, and my brows raised.
"You know my name?" I was surprised. I remembered we hadn't shared our names a day before.
He crossed his legs and tilted his head, his dark eyes filled with mysterious glint, "Is there a reason not to know you? I'm Xavier Creed. Come over, and let's talk," He said, pointing to the seat in front of him.
My lips parted, my eyes widened, and my feet got rooted on the ground. I suddenly felt like the world had gone crazy because how could so many ridiculous things happen to me in just two days?
I shook my head, hoping to wake up if everything was a dream, but things seemed too vivid to be just a dream, and my heart raced like crazy.
I dragged my feet toward the handsome... Xavier, my waist itching the closer I got to him.
I couldn't help but feel troubled. The way Xavier looked at me was scary. It was as if he was disappointed in me for what happened last night, or maybe he wasn't happy about this marriage, too.
I shook my head, not wanting to think too much about it. Whatever his decision was, I would be glad to follow it, in as much as we don't have to get married.
I sat in front of him and tried my best to compose myself. I was an actor after all, so acting to be calm was as easy as pie.
"Hi, we meet again," My voice was especially thick due to my anxiety.
Xavier looked at me without saying a word. His eyes were fixed on me, but there were no emotions in those eyes at all.
I laughed dryly, feeling embarrassed and awkward at the same time. "I didn't expect to see you again so soon. Who would have thought you were Xavier Creed? It's really surprising, you know?" I laughed while stretching my hand to pick up the wine cup on the table.
My throat was so dry that I needed something to moisten it.
"Yes, it's surprising," The cold voice rang in the room, and my body froze. "I didn't expect you to be Julian Everly either," He replied.
I raised my head as a frown settled on my face, "Why do I find it hard to believe that? For someone as powerful as you, finding out everything about your arranged partner is very easy..."
"So?" His lips curved, revealing an amused smile.
"So, you intentionally agreed to enter a room with me yesterday because you knew I was the one!" I spat, suddenly feeling annoyed.
I felt like I had been played by a wolf!
Xavier chuckled. His dark eyes bore into mine as he leaned toward me, "So? Would you prefer to enter a room with someone else then?" He questioned, his eyes showing undisguised maniac.
I moved backward, feeling uncomfortable under that gaze, "I... I..." I stopped and rolled my eyes. My anger surges even more. Why was he trying to oppress me with his aura?
Just because he was an Alpha? Fuck him!
"Why do you want to marry me?" I changed to the right topic. It would be better to escape from a lunatic like him earlier...
Xavier finally sat back, and his expression turned cold again. "I don't want to get married either," He mused and turned his head away.
I frowned, "Then, why?" Why are you doing this to me, scum?
Xavier picked up the cup of wine in front of him and sipped it. His movement was filled with elegance. "My grandmother wants it," He responded, his tone cool but distant.
"Your grandmother?" I was surprised.
Someone like him didn't look like someone who could be controlled...
"My grandmother has to undergo surgery, but she won't do it unless I marry into your family first. I don't want to marry your sister, so I decided to marry you instead," He replied and dropped the cup. "Let's get married, Julian. I promise it won't affect you at all," He expressed.
"We will keep it secret. We don't have to fall in love with each other, and I won't interfere in your private life either. You just have to be my partner under law, that's all," He proposed, staring at me.
I swallowed, feeling troubled. "I..."
"You need me too, Julian. You've lost your virginity, making it a must for you to have sex every month. Do you want to go around asking men for one-night stands?"
"You!" I was furious.
How dare he mention that?
"It's none of your business!" I yelled at him, feeling annoyed.
"Well... It is, Mr Julian, because I've marked you already,' He said with an amused smile on his face.
"You are mine now," He declared.
JULIAN'S POV "This room is good," He said, his eyes on me. I couldn't help but wonder what I was doing. This wasn't right_ This wasn't me.I watched as the stunningly handsome man placed his card on the door and the ding that came after, indicating that the door was unlocked. I swallowed again, my hands a bit sweaty. "Ain't you coming in?" His dangerous yet cool voice rang in my ears as he stared at me with his pairs of deep dark eyes. He was so handsome that he made me feel jealous at heart. How could a man be so handsome? We are both men, but he has so many things that I dare not even dream about. Look at that broad chest, look at that pale and sharp face, look at that waist that made him look manly___ I lacked them all!Although I identified as a man, my beautiful features, flat belly with no ounce of abs, and tiny waist made me look a lot like all those fictional fairies, making it impossible for me to brag about being "manly" at all. JULIAN'S POV Opening my eyes, I yawned loudly and wiped my face. My fingers went down my sore waist, and I frowned from the pain that came from there. I searched the room with my eyes, wanting to see the perpetrator, but surprisingly, he was nowhere to be found. I sat down in bed, a frown settling on my face as I tried to endure the pain that came from my movement. Did he really leave? I knew it was only a one-night thing, but did he have to be so heartless? He just left the moment he woke up!I shook my head, feeling bad for those who might have fallen for such a heartless man, and right then, my eyes fell on the paper that was on the pillow beside me and I raised a brow. Picking up the paper, I was surprised to see very good handwritten words, which I immediately knew were from the handsome stranger, and a smile unknowingly formed on my face. "I already ordered breakfast for you; just notify the waiters when you wake up, and it will be delivered to the room. Also, don't forget
JULIAN'S POV"Why would you accept that? Have you forgotten that Fred is the male lead of the drama?" Abel seemed surprised. I let out a deep breath, rubbed my sore nose, and smiled, "I know. But I also have a good feeling about that drama," I lowered my eyes slightly. "I want to make it in this circle, too. Let the director know that my father will invest in the drama, and all they have to do is let me take the second male lead role," I added, having made up my mind. Convincing my father to support a drama for me was a very easy thing to do. He would gladly do it, too...Abel shook his head, "You can't. You really can't accept that role. Have you forgotten? Fred is a scum. He would stop at nothing to suppress you. Taking that role is the same as delivering yourself to his doorstep. Don't do this, please," Abel pleaded. "In this circle, only I know who your parents are. The film crew will surely side with the popular Fred and ignore an unknown 3rd rate star like you. You really can
JULIAN'S POV I was so shocked that I nearly lost my footing if not for my mother, who held my hand. "Ma... Marriage? With the Creeds? How? Why? Didn't you tell me then that it might be canceled, Why are we discussing it now?" I found it hard to comprehend what was going on. "I thought so, too, son. That was my initial thought until the first son of the Creeds, the new head of the family, sent a letter to us a week ago. He said he would like to get married to you in a month," My mother went on, and my mind went blank. What kind of joke is this?Marriage? With a stranger__"How, Mum? How do you want me to marry someone I don't even know? What if he bullies me after marriage?" I felt like crying. Getting married wasn't that much of a big deal, but how could I marry someone I hadn't even seen before? This person might even be uglyFor a face-con, having to be with someone ugly was the harshest punishment, and I would have to be with the man forever. My mother patted my head gently,
