CHAPTER 91

Luka's POV

"Luna Crystina is missing, Alpha," A loud resounding screech resonated in my ear. My feet stood rooted at the spot and I didn't move. My eyes were so wide they could run out of their sockets if I widen them by an inch. A cold sweat broke out on my forehead and for the first time in my life, I was terrified. Nothing made sense anymore, not the people around me, not the words being said, or even the atmosphere.

I knew Baba was talking but at the same time, I couldn't hear what he was saying. It was almost as if that loud noise found its home in my ear and brain. Words failed me. I closed my eyes to take at the moment and when I finally opened them, my eyes landed on the warrior that was supposed to protect Crystina.

I grabbed him by his collar and pulled him closer. That sort of got the attention of everyone on the ground floor. He swallowed hard as he couldn't stare at me.

"Where is Crystina?" I demanded. I'd given him strict instructions to not let her out of his sight.
