CHAPTER 94

Crystina's POV

The first time I opened my eyes to life after several hours of being unconscious, I thought I was blind. It took me a little while to realize the entire room was dark. I whimpered as I sat up from the floor. My entire body was aching, my throat was dry and it felt as if I was drenched in water but I soon realized it was sweat. I was soaked in my own sweat. The room reeked of dead animal stench and it was so suffocating I could barely breathe.

My bones ached and I could feel it deep inside of me how weak I was. I was weak to my blood. I took a deep breath of contaminated air and sat straight. I heard some silent whimpering close to me and I looked to my side.

I couldn't even smell who it was because the smell in the room has overpowered every scent that was supposed to be on me or this person. My brain couldn't process what was going on but the last thing I remembered was being shot at.

My hand went to my neck and I could feel the stinging right where I had been shot. I
