Butterfly and the CEO
Chapter 31
Ellie’s point of view.
It’s Friday morning, and Zac and I are waiting in my hospital room for the nurse to bring my discharge papers, so we can finally go home. We decided to go back to Zac’s apartment for a few weeks rather than his house, as there are no stairs once we are inside. There is a knock on the door; as the nurse pops her head around the corner, she smiles as she looks at us both before she says.
“Here you go, Ellie; I think that you have everything that you need. I've arranged a follow-up appointment for

God, I hate these things.Zac looks at me with a concerned face as he asks.“Are you okay, Baby?”I groan again, keeping my eyes closed as I say.
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 33Zac’s point of view.I wake up early in the morning with Ellie in my arms, we have her follow up appointment at the hospital today, and hopefully, she can have the cast removed. I’m so proud of this woman throughout the last couple of weeks. She has not complained once, even though I know there were days when she has been in agony.I decide to make us both breakfast before I wake her up, heading off into the kitchen before returning with a tray of food; Ellie smiles when I walk back into the bedroom as she says,
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 34Zac’s point of view. After Ellie is given the all-clear from the hospital, we spend the afternoon making love; I've missed her body; it's not just the sex I’ve missed. It’s the connection. When you get as close as two people can possibly get to the one you love, It’s the best feeling in the world. When I slip inside her, and she looks at me, it’s almost as though she can read every single thought of mine, and we are one in body and mind. Not so long ago, that would have scared the shit out of me but not anymore, not with Ellie. I fucking love it.

I have arranged for Mrs Austin to order the biggest bouquet of flowers that she could find for Erin's first day back. I've missed her not being here with me.I walk her to her office, leaving her at the door with a sweet kiss on those perfect lips. I hope she likes her surprise. I leave her there before I make my way to my own office. I would much rather have Ellie in here with me, but I know she's right; I can't wrap her up in cotton wool fo

I just want tonight to be perfect for her.I took a deep breath before I opened the doors of the restaurant. I noticed that Sarah had closed all of the blinds so that Ellie couldn't see inside when we pulled up.“SURPRISE.”
