Chapter 81

As Henry ate in the restaurant, he wasn’t so happy with himself. If he claims to love Clara, then why was he always bringing peace between Clara and Alex?

It was meant to be the other way round, he was supposed to take Clara away from him but he was always being nice.

He assumed this was his price to pay since he needed to make up for how he treated Clara in the past, he had to genuinely support her.

But if and only if Alex doesn’t value her, he would then make sure he takes Clara away from him. As Henry thought about all these, it began to rain.

Alex drove slowly in the rain happily, he arrived home a few minutes later.

Annie was beginning to get worried because she knew that Alex doesn't keep late nights but he wasn't back till this time.

She remembered Mrs. Peters's statement to her, to be on Alex’s side until the wedding.

“Young master,” Annie ran towards Alex to hug him the moment he stepped in a little bit drenched but Alex pushed her away.
