Chapter 136

Disturbed Annie was losing patience and losing her mind.

She was going to threaten Elizabeth to throw her back into that cell if she didn’t lure Clara like she wanted.

Annie doesn’t really care about anyone. The only person she cares about is herself and making herself the next Mrs. Peters.

“Do you have her now?” Annie asked after Elizabeth picked up.

“Ms. Cooper, you saw the news. Alex and Clara spent the night in the Peters mansion. It wasn’t possible to get her, however, I’m working on making her come soon.”

The fact that Elizabeth mentioned this angered her, and she hung up. She had been doing things on her own, so if they delayed her, she would make moves on her own, no matter who was involved.

“Selene, we do not have time. You said you would make Clara come here right?” Elizabeth said to her daughter.

“Yes, I will.” Even the way Selene spoke to Elizabeth was odd and mannerless. But there wasn’t much Elizabeth could do.
