Riana was glad that she would leave the rat hole Abel rented for her. She started imagining a good bath. She also thought about having a peaceful sleep in her comfortable bed.

“Okay, I’ll do my best to negotiate and come to an agreement with Mr. Douglas,” Riana said. Peter let out a sigh of relief. Elizabeth smiled and held her daughter’s hands.

“I am glad you agreed to meet him. Thank you so much, Riana. You are a blessing to this family.”

Peter did not argue with her. Riana has helped their family a great deal, but that would not make him choose her over his son Lucas. After all, the family has done so much for her, too. They brought her home and took care of her all these years, so why won’t she repay their kindness?
