“It’s my mother Elizabeth. I don’t need their stress,” Riana said and tossed the phone on the table when it stopped ringing.

“You need to call her back. She must be worried about you”

As soon as Nora finished talking, the phone started ringing again. Riana picked it up.

“Riana dear, please, can you come over to the hospital? Your father has something to tell you”

“I am busy right now, I don’t want to entertain his troubles”

“Come to the hospital. It has something to do with our present problem. Please come, you are the only one that can help our family,” Elizabeth sounded desperate, so Riana had to give in.

“I will be there in a few minutes” Riana’s face was drained of its colors. She suddenly became weak. She didn’t mind what the people were saying online about her, but she was so down because of Abel’s attitude towards her during the whole crisis.

“Please, can you give me a ride to the hospital?” Last night, Riana left her car at Abel’s place, but she intended to go back to get it ba
