Chapter 63

Tobias squeezed out water from the little towel in his hand and started cleaning the bruise on Avery’s neck. He had prepared hot water as soon as they came back. He stared at the place Abel’s finger wounded Avery and thought to himself.

“If only she allowed me to beat him up”

Tobias frowned his face and dipped the towel into the hot water, then placed it on the bruise.

“Ouch, the water is hot,” Avery cried out. Her face was pale.

“I will add cold water to it,” Tobias said and took the bowl of water to the bathroom. He came back shortly and continued to clean the bruise.

“How could you allow him to hurt you this much, yet you won’t let me handle him,” Tobias said as he put the towel back into the bowel.

“It’s nothing. I’m sure Abel didn’t mean to hurt me in this manner. He must have been pissed off by what happened to his fiancee. What man will refuse to fight for the woman he loves? After all, he loves Riana very much and could do anything for her”

Avery smiled whirly to hide the hurt
