DUKE'S POV

Anaya stared wordlessly at me, eyes burning with confusion and what seemed like fear. I felt my hand squeeze into a ball of rage even though I managed to keep my anger from showing on my face.

How could they be so thoughtless? Aren't they the only ones in our midsts who knew well the dangers of having such a thing around us? So why act so foolishly?
