Merlina's P.O.V

I shift my body so that my back was now facing him and that I could see outside the window.

Everything was complete darkness, it was so dark that you could just barely see the shadows of the trees. But the amount of darkness that was there, was nothing compared to what my life has turned into.

I'm learning I can't be so trusting and naive. But I just can't help it, I've always been one to put my trust into someone, even if I had just met them.

But now, trust...is the one thing that might just get me killed.

"How long until we arrive?" I questioned, trying to think of some possible way to get myself out of this situation.

"Probably like twenty minutes." He said as he placed a cigarette between his lips and quickly lit the end using one hand.

"You really shouldn't smoke and drive, you could get into a reck or start hysterically coughing, causing us to swerve off the road." I said keeping my eyes locked on his pink lips.
