Merlina's P.O.V
After driving for another 10 minutes the car soon came to a halt, signaling we were at a gas station. My nerves started taking over me making me second guess my self, but I knew if I didn't get away now it would be hell for me later. The doors to the van slowly opened revealing Dylan behind it. He reached over me and unchained my wrist and ankles from the cold metal, allowing slight winces of pain to leave my lips. My ankles and wrist were both bruised and bloody causing a stinging/ burning sensation as it became exposed to the oxygen. He took my arm and helped me out of the car, but as soon as my feet hit the floor a loud screech left my mouth. A terrible amount of pain rushed through my legs as I tried to apply my weight on them. I looked up at Dylan and his expression showed no remorse or sorrow once so ever. He just yanked me back up and continued pushing me forward. "Don't do anything stupid." He spoke as I limped into the gas station. Me escaping isn't stupid, it's smart. As we entered the doors of the building I immediately looked around scanning the entire place looking for something that could help me. But sadly the only exit door was the one we came out of. I looked around searching desperately for a plan B. "Go to the fucking bathroom." Dylan rushed. I quickly looked at the cashier and looked back at Dylan mouthing the words 'help me' to the lady as I limped into the bathroom, Dylan following. "What are you doing, you can't come in here." I said as I put my hand on His chest preventing him from going any further. I closed the door and locked it before he could say anything. As soon as I turned around I made sure to run the water on the faucet to help block out any noise. I analyzed the small bathroom and noticed a small window just below the ceiling. A burst of pure joy and happiness rushed through me as I started climbing the stalls. But which each step I took more and more pain ran up my leg. I almost gave up but my mom always taught me otherwise so I decided to push through the pain. "Hurry the fuck up." I heard Dylan yell as he started banging on the door. I looked back at the door as I placed my foot on the toilet paper dispenser. I pushed myself up on it, having it break, resulting in my instantaneously making contact with the floor. "Merlina!" He shouted through the door as he hit his fist against it harder than he did before. I stood up and slowly made my way to the door, disappointed in failure attempt to escape. "Took you long enough." He huffed. "Sorry I had to shit." I said blankly as he snorted. As we were walked out the door and back to the car near the woods, the woman at the cash register ran after us. "Sir, I'm going to need you to let her go I've already called the police so you mind as well go while you can." She said as she grabbed my arm. Dylan took a step back as he poked out his lip and nodded his head as he continued walking, without me. Happiness took over me as I celebrated the fact that my plan worked. I looked at the woman beside me and and wrapped my arms around her body. "You're my her-" before I could finish my sentence the sound of a gun went off and her body fell to the ground. A piercing scream erupts from my lips as I look down at her in shock. Before I have the chance to bend down and save what little bit of life might be left I feel a large hand wrap around my hair as he abruptly pulled it, dragging me towards the car. Tears leave my eyes and scream escape my lips as my body is still traumatized from what had just occurred. "You fucking killed her!" I yelled once her put on the shackles, tighter than he did before. "That's what I do babygirl, and that's exactly what's gonna end up happening to you." He said as he shut the door and sped off. I took deep breaths and tried to control my breathing as I rested my head on the wall, falling asleep soon after. 4 hours later My eyes shot open as the car jolted forward as it came to a complete stop. The doors slowly opened, and I was expecting to see Dylan's face but instead it was Justin with a wide smirk spread across his lips. My hands started shaking as my nerves and anxiety got the best of me. "Welcome home princess."Merlina's P.O.V "D-dad." I stuttered not knowing what else to say. "What you don't miss me?" He asked opening his arms expecting for me give him a hug. "How could I? You faked your death, letting me and mom suffer financially and emotionally. You made me think you were gone! I prayed to you every fucking night and your alive?!" I yelled as tears started to well up in my eyes. He opened his mouth to speak before I cut him off. "No stop! On top of everything you put a bounty on me, your own daughter. All for what, money? We are the same flesh and blood and you wanted to kill me!" I yell, releasing all of my anger that I had been holding in. "For better or for worst." He spoke. I stood there silent not knowing how to respond, like what is that even supposed to mean. For better or for worst? He needs to actually shut the fuck up. "Sometimes you just have to make sacrifices in life, I don't expect you to understand." Anger rose within me as he spoke t
Merlina's P.O.V I shift my body so that my back was now facing him and that I could see outside the window. Everything was complete darkness, it was so dark that you could just barely see the shadows of the trees. But the amount of darkness that was there, was nothing compared to what my life has turned into. I'm learning I can't be so trusting and naive. But I just can't help it, I've always been one to put my trust into someone, even if I had just met them. But now, trust...is the one thing that might just get me killed. "How long until we arrive?" I questioned, trying to think of some possible way to get myself out of this situation. "Probably like twenty minutes." He said as he placed a cigarette between his lips and quickly lit the end using one hand. "You really shouldn't smoke and drive, you could get into a reck or start hysterically coughing, causing us to swerve off the road." I said keeping my eyes locked on his pink lips. God they looked so soft, I
Justin's P.O.V "What the fuck do you mean she's missing?" I asked as anger was clearly present in my voice. "Chill bro she probably just went don't to the café or something." Dave said trying to calm me down. "Yea she might've gotten hungry or something." Dylan said having everyone else agree. "Yes! That a fantabulous idea! Let's check there!" The nurse shouted trying to keep us all positive. But if she wasn't in that cafeteria I was going to loose my shit. "Right this way." She said as she pointed to the elevator. We all piled into the elevator as the nurse clicked onto the 4th floor where I assume is where the cafeteria is located. I tap my feet impatiently waiting for us to reach the 4th floor. But it seems like the elevator is moving at an abnormally slow pace. I clench my fist to my side as I can feel my composure start to unravel. How the actual fuck can a hospital loose a patient. The elevator makes a 'ding' indicating that we
Lina P.O.V "So how do you expect to get us out of here if almost all the nurses know what I look like." I question as we walked quickly down the halls. "Because babygirl, I'm good at my job." He said as he looked down at me and smirked causing heat to rise to my cheeks. From the small time frame that I've been held captive here I've come to the conclusion that all the men working in the drug industry and are criminals are extremely attractive individuals. And I'm continuously finding myself in the position were my body starts to unwilling lust after them. It's very odd, but the more I'm around these type of people the more I start to enjoy it. I've never been one to like the bad guys, I go more for the respectable gentleman. But I don't know, something about how everyone is their own mystery and everything is unexpected has me so intrigued. Yes I am absolutely scared for my life and I'm aware that it could end at any given moment, but knowing that, pumps something
Justin's P.O.V "We need to take her to a hospital." I panic as I watched her still body. "Is she dead?" Tyler slurred as he ran his hands through his hair from stress. "Check her pulse!" I yelled. If she's dead then I don't what I'm gonna do. I'm supposed to be protecting her, and keeping her out of harms way. Instead I'm starving her and letting her overdose on drugs. "It's there but it's slowing down, if we're taking her to a hospital we need to go now." Colton rushed as he picked up her small frame. He ran outside the house and placed her in my all black Bentley as we all piled into the car. "I'll drive, just make sure she doesn't die on us!" I huff as I put the key into ignition and pull out the drive way. My foot presses on the gas, soon exceeding the speed limit as I rush to the nearest hospital. The light I was approaching turned red making me cuss under my breath. I look
2days later I stand in my room pacing back and forth deciding whether or not to go downstairs or not. I haven't left my room since the night it happened, since the night I got molested. It wasn't consensual, and ever since then I've been more afraid of them than I ever have. I haven't left my room and I damn sure haven't seen them. I was trying to convince myself that if I stayed up here and didn't see them that they didn't exist. But I haven't eaten and I'm starving. "Maybe if I'm quite enough I could go down, grab some chips and run back upstairs." I whisper to myself before taking a deep breath. My hand slowly twist the door knob as cold air hit my skin causing goosebumps to form. As I took slow steps down the hall I started hearing obnoxious laughter and many different voices engage in conversation. It sounded like 10 different men were downstairs causing me to internally groan. There were more people here making
