~Emmy~
Beads of sweat dripped down my face and onto the blindfold that covered my eyes, inches away from my dried and chapped lips. My heartbeat increased with each passing second. The sound of wind whirling by the vehicle I knew we were in was the only sound I could hear.
"Hello?" I tried to say, but my words were suffocated by something that had been placed in my mouth.
"That will teach you to bite!" The voice giggled in my head, making me groan. I had woken up to the soft lull of the car as we drove down what I assumed was a highway. We had been driving for at least twenty minutes when the car pulled to a stop, and whoever was in the vehicle exited.
Restraints completely immobilised me. My wrists were encircled behind my back by the ominous cold metal of what I could only assume to be wrist cuffs. Hard metal ran up my back to where a frigid chain ran around my neck. Every move I made had the chains clank together.
My whole body ached and screamed for relief from the position I was in, and there was nothing I could do about it. My thighs were tied together with rope keeping my face down on the scratchy carpet, with my ass up high, thanks to the hog-tied position I woke up in. My only saving grace from this humiliating position was that I was still clothed in the nightgown that Sir had given me.
I attempted to pull my wrists from their restraining prison. My legs longed to absently kick around in the empty air, but instead, they remained restrained to the point of immobility. I couldn't help but panic; I couldn't help but question how I ended up like this and why. I was nothing, a nobody, it made no sense.
The last thing I could remember was the buzz of my ears ringing and the intoxicating smell of my so-called saviour overpowering my nostrils. Now, I lay bound and dressed in a blooded gown in the blinding nightmare of this car. Blindfolded and hopeless, I tried to look through the strained fabric but could see nothing but endless darkness.
Could my saviour really have just left me here? I tried screaming out for help, but something was stopping me from opening my mouth any wider, and my mouth ached like a mother fucker. My throat was so dry it slightly resembled sandpaper.
"I felt utterly scared and alone." I moaned to myself.
"Alone?!" That voice inside my head reminded me. "Meaning no one is here to stop you from.."
"Calling for help!" I finished my crazy voice sentence, hating that I had accepted her place in my mind, but honestly, I was so alone that I would take any companion over the endless darkness I had right now. I thrashed my arms around, hoping the chains would make enough noise to attract some type of attention. But I slowly gave up, sinking down into the warmth and comfort of the carpet beneath me, tears beginning to spill from my eyes, blinding my already impaired vision.
I don't know how long I have been here. I knew it wasn't that long, though I couldn't help but compare it to forever as I wallowed in self-pity. I lay helplessly and wholly defeated on the floor of the car when suddenly, the sound of distant footsteps drew closer, much closer. My body automatically shot up as far as I was able to and began attempting to scream and shout for help as loud as I could manage, though this was already deemed pointless when every sound I made was muffled through the bloody gag in my mouth.
I prayed and prayed that this person would come to save me, but as soon as the footsteps got close enough to be outside the door, they carried on by leaving me alone yet again. I looked in the direction of what I had assumed to be the door, which I was unable to see in the ridiculous darkness of the blindfold.
"HA! You should have shouted louder!" That voice taunted inside my head, making me sigh.
"Really helpful!" I snarled at it, ignoring the laughter that echoed around my head.
Footsteps once again came closer but, this time, stopped at what I assumed to be the door to the car. I guess if I wasn't mere moments away from suffocation as my head buried back into the filthy carpet, I would be currently holding my breath, but that was not a choice. I turned towards the door, waiting for it to open, to receive rescue or any clue as to why I was here.
The door clicked open. I squinted my eyes, desperately trying to see who it was, but the darkness of the blindfold stole any chance of me knowing who stood beside the car when the door opened. It could be my so-called saviour, but honestly, at this point, I realised it could be anyone. I didn't know of him or his dealings, but I did know that buying girls at auctions made you a bad person and bad people tended to do bad shit to people like me.
"Oh, a wolf can hope!" The voice bounced excitedly around my head.
Wolf? Now I know I am going insane!
Moving my head on the carpeted floor, I sighed softly, feeling the material shift a little, giving me a little bit of my blurred vision back just as a car light illuminated the male by the door. All I could see was a faint silhouette of the figure. The height alone caused me to believe it was the male who had brought me, causing me to only calm down slightly. Even though I hope I know who it is, there is no guarantee I am going to be given the use of my arms and legs again.
The car moved as he stepped inside, his scent filling the car, making the voice in my head groan needily. It was my kidnapper. I would recognise that scent anywhere! It was like freshly cut green grass and city smoke, my two favourite things.
"Are you ready, Sir?" A voice called from the front of the car, making my head snap around towards it; it sounded like the small male from the auction, but I couldn't be sure. He must have answered with a nod because the car began to move, sending vibrations through my knees and face.
"Hello." I tried to say through the gag but was ignored and rewarded by my blindfold pulled back in place and a pair of cushioned headphones being placed over my ears, not letting a single sound pass, deafening me and taking away another precious sense of mine.
I lay in complete silence, hating not knowing what would come next and wondering what would happen tonight. The time seemed to slow down again; I flinched every time I believed I heard a sound or thought I saw something, though both were obviously just my imagination.
"You're so jumpy!" The voice chuckled in my head. "Doesn't it turn you on knowing you are utterly vulnerable and at that handsome man's disposal?" She asked, making me sigh
"I am a virgin." I snapped at the voice, which felt stupid. It was my brain talking to me, and I knew I was a virgin, but I felt like I needed to say that. "I do not think being tied up in a car like a fucking hog is sexy." I lied. A part of me did, and I was ashamed to admit that. Silence followed, and I almost wished the voice would talk to me again as we moved along the bumpy road.
The anticipation and puzzlement of what my new companion who sat in the car with me thought as he watched me rock back and forth in the centre of his car was dreadful, though slightly delightful, and I could feel myself getting wetter and wetter.
"And hornier and hornier. I need a release, and I need it now, or at least a slight bit of attention to our pleading pussy." The voice interjected, making me regret every yearning for her.
"I am not horny!" I snapped back moodily. What did she think? I was some kind of sicko that got off on this kind of shit!
"Yes!" The voice giggled before disappearing again.
Emmy***Three weeks earlier*** "Can I go out tonight?" I asked my Ma for the fourth time this hour; I knew what her reply would be. Yet I hoped she would say yes, anyway. I could count the number of times my mother had let me out on my own on one hand. You wouldn't think I was seventeen months old! Not seventeen years old!"Eighteen soon!" The quirky voice whispered in my head, making me frown softly, forgetting for a second my mother was staring at me. "What's wrong?" My mother asked quickly, her eyes scanning my features and scrutinising my facial expressions carefully like she always seemed to of late. "Nothing!" I snapped, crossing my arms over my chest with a pout. I knew if I told her the voice was back, she would shove another pill down my throat, and then I definitely wouldn't be allowed out! I knew her concern was coming from a good place. No one liked a crazy female! Not even us gypsies! But it didn't make it any easier to swallow; I wanted my freedom out of this damn wo
~Matteo~"I don't think this is necessary!" Blaze whinged while he watched our mate over the top of my laptop that sat on my lap. He had moaned the whole car journey, to the point I wished I had gagged him too. He had been a silent passenger since our previous mate's death, pretty much leaving me to run the show. At times, I had wished he would come back to take some of the weight on his shoulders for the life we led, but if this was how things would be, I would have to speak to Samuel about a supernatural way to mute him. "I don't care what you think!" I snapped as I typed away on the keypad that sat on my lap. She has been babbling to herself on and off for an hour before finally giving in to exhaustion. I suspected she had been talking to her wolf, although I didn't understand why she wasn't doing it internally. Something I would ask her when I got her back to the penthouse. Maybe Gypsies did things differently to the rest of us. A smirk slipped over my lips, hearing her moan in
~Emmy~Waking slowly, I yawned softly, my body stretching out on the softest bed I had ever slept on. "Damn, did I die? Am I sleeping on a cloud?" I mumbled as my eyes opened to see I was surrounded by crisp white linen. Snuggling back under the sheets, I closed my eyes again before they shot open as memories of the last few days danced across my mind. Kidnapped, auctioned, restrained, and ... Nothing after being restrained, only foggy memories of a conversation I knew had to be a dream. "I was beginning to think you would never wake up!" A serious voice announced from somewhere in the room. I wanted to bury myself under the sheets and pray it was all a dream, and I was about to wake up in my mother's wooden caravan on a bed made of lumps and bumps. But hearing the footsteps head my way, I braced myself for the cold reality that none of it was a dream. The sheets were pulled from me and thrown back; light blinded my eyes from an open window. Seizing my chance, I jumped and slammed
~Matteo~Sitting in my seat, I sensed Blaze moaning that she was out of sight and smirked; he was so whipped already! Although I expected nothing less! As I walked by her, I could see the clogs turning in her head and knew she was about to do something reckless. That most likely would end with me not being able to eat my fucking breakfast before my meeting started because I had to teach her a damn lesson.. again! I remained silent but motioned for the chef to bring the food forward; I watched him pick up a tray filled with pastries only to freeze as his eyes lifted beside me. A soft blush crossed his cheeks as he lowered his gaze and looked at the floor, clearly trying to show respect. Closing my eyes as her sweet scent drifted by me, I sucked in a breath to silence Blaze, who was howling like a dog in heat. Opening my eyes, I looked in the direction I sensed her and found myself frozen just like my chef, seeing her stride past my seat as naked as the day she was born, her skinny l
~Emmy~I wanted the ground to open and swallow me alive. I had bared my body to him, hoping to get a reaction, yet the only response I got from this smug bastard was amusement. I guess he is used to seeing naked women, and my body doesn't interest him. "Oh, it does!" The voice countered. "He is just more stubborn than you!" But these men who had joined us, although not looking at me directly, gave me the impression that they wanted to do more than sit at the table with me. They wanted to look but undoubtedly were trying to be respectful of their host! Perhaps respect is what I should have shown him in order to get what I wanted, but then I never did things like most people! "Probably why you are in so much shit!" The voice I was trying desperately to block out laughed, making me wince. I really was starting to miss those purple pills because she was starting to become a constant companion, One I did not want nor as for."How was the auction Matteo?" A male at the top of the table a
~Matteo~I felt the muscles in my jaw tighten at her blatant disrespect, but it was more than that; as much as I tried to push down the possessive wolf in me, the fact she was flaunting herself to get my attention rubbed me the wrong way. I may not want her, but that doesn't mean I want anyone else to have her! Or even look at her! As fucked up as I knew that was! But what was grinding on me was the nerve of the men around this table, who were employed because of me! Who had risen in this world because of me and what I offered them! And I do not recall offering Emmy to them. Yet I watched Ricky's hand slide up her thigh towards a pussy that I owned and couldn't have stopped Blaze from reacting even if I wanted to. Seconds it took me to round the table and grab his head, pulling it back by the roots of his hair. I held it there and watched as his eyes frantically darted towards me- Pleading for mercy. Grabbing the mug from his free hand, I smashed it on the arm of the chair carelessl
~Emmy~My skin felt like I had a million little insects crawling over it as I sat at the table where he had left me. Those he had called to his meeting were cleaning up the dead body that lay on the ground by my seat. I wanted nothing more than to pull my legs up and hug them to my shaking body. But that would be a weakness, something I knew these men would exploit. I just had to sit here in silence for a few more minutes while Matteo got ready and left, and then I would be heading out the door, too... back to my family! Somehow!I eyed the male at my feet as he rolled the still-warm body up in a plastic sheet someone had brought up from their car. There was no gentleness in his actions despite the respect he kept claiming to have for the dead male."I liked Ricky! I will miss him!" The male I knew to be called Ryan grunted for the third time, eyeing me angrily. "Shame he died over a piece of ass!" He added with a scowl that made me nervous; despite that, I felt the need to say somet
~ Emmy ~ Throwing the PJs on the bed, I stomped over to what I suspected was a bathroom door. I needed to get washed up if I Was leaving this maze of white wash walls and blood-stained carpets! My body screamed for a shower, but seeing the large jet jacuzzi bathtub, I groaned needily. The events of the last few days and being hog-tied for hours in the back of a car had left my body achy and in demand of some bubbles. Turning the taps on, I searched the bathroom for shampoo, conditioner, or anything I could use but frowned when I saw empty shelves and cupboards, not even a towel to dry with. For the guest bedroom, this room was seriously lacking. Turning the taps off, I headed back to the main door, pulling on the handles, half expecting to find them locked. I grinned, seeing them open, the smile falling from my face, seeing the miserable face of the security guy from earlier standing at the door like a creeper. "You know it's weird as fuck that you are just standing there.. what i
~ Emmy ~I awoke with a start, my heart pounding in my chest, my body drenched in sweat. The darkness around me felt oppressive, the dream lingering like a heavy fog in my mind. I could still see my mother’s haunted eyes, and hear her desperate pleas. But what had she whispered? What was it that I wasn’t supposed to know?Rae stirred within me, sensing my turmoil. “What’s wrong?” she asked, her voice echoing softly in my mind.“I saw her, Rae,” I whispered, my voice shaking. “I saw my mother. She was running from something, a creature... and she handed me over to the Ma who raised me. She said I must never know what I am, that I am in danger. But she whispered something I couldn’t hear.” Rae was silent for a moment, processing my words. “Dreams can be powerful, Emmy. They can show us things from our past, our deepest fears, or even glimpses of the future. Whatever it is your mother whispered, it’s important. When we are out of this cave we will work it out, I promise.” I took a deep
~ Emmy ~My feet moved quickly, hoping to find shelter from the prying eyes I felt boring into my back. Eventually, I came to a grand staircase that spiralled down into what looked like a vast hall below. Taking a deep breath, I started down the stairs, avidly aware of the fact I was naked, filthy and smelt like arse. My mind raced with thoughts of what might await me. I had to stay focused and strong. "Emmy, you’ve got this," I told myself. This place, no matter how enchanting, would not break me.As I reached the bottom of the staircase, I found myself in a grand hall that was even more extravagant than the room I had started in. Massive chandeliers hung from the ceiling, their crystals sparkling in the candlelight. Marble floors gleamed beneath my feet, and towering columns lined the room, their surfaces carved with intricate patterns that seemed to tell a story of their own."Someone hasn't heard of the saying less is more." I marvelled aloud as I looked around the rather over-th
~ Emmy ~ Rae had exhausted herself running through the demonic realm and had finally given me control while she slept. We were hidden away in a dark cave, the air thick and heavy with the scent of sulphur and despair. She had commanded me to stay put, to rest, but sitting still had never been my strong suit. "It's just a while longer." I sighed as I looked around the cave. It was pitch black, and the silence was suffocating, I could hear the distant echoes of tortured souls, the cries of the damned: not exactly helping me relax. My heart ached with the weight of hopelessness, and I started to feel despair creeping into my soul."Ahhh, this is killing me." I moaned loudly. Unable to sit still any longer, I began to pace the cave. Every step felt like a rebellion against the darkness that threatened to swallow me whole. My eyes slowly adjusted to the inky blackness, but there was little to see beyond the jagged walls and the occasional scatter of bones. My mind raced with thoughts of
~ Matteo ~ "So, what's your plan?" I requested Evelyn, as I rejoined the group. Wyatt by my side a silent pact had been made between us, and it would stay silent until we had Emmy and Lula back. As if understanding the situation Levi and Hank nodded to Everlyn and the book she had pulled out of her bag."We need to infiltrate the wedding," Evelyn declared, her tone resolute. "We can use the gathering to our advantage. With so many supernatural beings in one place, it'll be chaotic. It'll give us a chance to find Emmy and Lula, and possibly stop Wyatt's father before he completes whatever ritual he's planning." I nodded slowly, the wheels in my mind turning. It was risky, but Evelyn was right. This could be our best chance to strike. "Alright," I said. "What do you need from us?""We need to sneak into the wedding," Evelyn began to outline her plan with a determined expression, her green eyes flickering with urgency. "With Wyatt's father demanding everyone come to hell to show loyalt
~Matteo ~I stood in the clubhouse, irritation boiling just beneath the surface. The door had been left unlocked—a careless mistake that could cost lives, especially since we had just been attacked. I was about to rip Levi a new one, despite Hank trying to defend his brother's idiocy, when I noticed Levi talking with a woman. I paused, listening to their conversation. "She is his mate, the witch?" I mouthed to Hank who nodded, a slight glimmer of jealousy shining in his eyes. Which I guessed was down to the fact that she was striking. Her rich, deep auburn hair fell in loose waves down to her shoulders, catching the dim light and adding a warmth to the otherwise grim room. Her piercing green eyes, sharp and intelligent, missed nothing as they darted around, assessing every detail. Except apparently the group of wolves behind her! Regardless they held a depth that spoke of experience and resilience, something that drew my attention. Her skin was fair, almost glowing, hinting at time s
~ Wyatt ~Levi and I travelled back to the club using my powers of teleportation. As we landed, I couldn’t help but smirk when he doubled over, retching onto the floor. It was a sight I had grown accustomed to, one that never failed to amuse me.“Magic doesn’t suit everyone,” I teased, clapping him on the back as he wiped his mouth. “You’d think dating a witch would toughen you up a bit, but here you are, still can’t stomach a simple teleportation spell.”Levi shot me a glare, but his usual retort was missing. He was too tense, too on edge to indulge in the back-and-forth banter battle that seemed to be 'our thing'. I understood why. The club was eerily quiet, a stark contrast to its usual hustle and bustle. Everyone had dispersed, off to complete their tasks, leaving the place feeling empty and hollow.I took a seat at the bar, leaning back as I watched Levi pace back and forth. "What's up squirrel?" I asked as he rounded to look at me."Squirrel?" He repeated his nose screwed up wi
~ Emmy ~ From out of the shadows, the winged beast emerged, its massive black wings unfurling and casting an ominous shadow over the already bleak landscape. Fear gripped me and Rae, our shared anxiety intensifying as the creature drew closer. This time, we could see it more clearly, and the sight was enough to make my blood run cold. The beast was monstrous, its eyes glowing with a malevolent fire. Its teeth were jagged and pointed, each one coated in the blood of its victims, gleaming sickeningly in the dim red light that permeated the realm. The talons on its feet were sharp and shining, looking like they could easily pierce through Rae’s fur and flesh.Rae’s instincts screamed at her to run, but she stood her ground, her body tense and ready to react. I could feel her muscles coiled like springs, prepared to leap or dodge at the slightest hint of an attack.“We have to stay calm,” I whispered to her, trying to steady my own racing heart. “We can’t outrun it, but maybe we can outs
~ Matteo ~ "And who do you think you are?" Mr White sneered, his smirk faltering, replaced by a flash of anger and fear. He leaned forward, trying to regain his composure. In the balcony door reflection, I watched as Samuel leaned in, matching his intensity. "The end of the line for you, I am afraid." He chortled, uncaring for his feelings. "Unless you can give me the information I need," I announced as I turned from the balcony, happy that my pack were doing their jobs. "I am afraid I am going to have to let Samuel here tear you apart..." "He will have to get in line.." Hank growled from the other side of me, a smile splitting my lips. "You all will," Blaze announced through the pack link. "So shall we.." I motioned for Mr White to give me what I needed. As I spoke, I felt Blaze, my wolf, stir within me, a growl rumbling in the depths of my mind. He was as repulsed by this place as I was, and his presence gave me the strength to confront the monster before us. This auction hous
~ Matteo ~Sighing I fought to keep Blaze's temper in check, which was a struggle given that I felt my body humming with his rage. Though I had once participated in these auctions, buying women from him, knowing that he was the cause of Emmy's painful journey into my world, gnawed at me."Matteo!" Mr. White exclaimed, his voice as oily as his appearance. He tried to mask his nervousness with a wide, insincere grin. "Welcome, welcome! And your friends, of course. How is Emmy doing? Serving you well, I hope?" I clenched my jaw, ready to respond, but Samuel stepped forward, cutting me off. "What are tonight's auctions?" he asked, his voice sharp and to the point. Mr. White blinked, taken aback for a moment before regaining his composure. "Ah, yes, the auctions," he conveyed, rubbing his hands together. "Tonight, we have three very special women up for bid." He gestured grandly, as if presenting fine art. "First, we have a young woman from the northern territories. Blonde, blue-eyed, v
