The Rain

I sat motionlessly on the blanket with nothing to do since Axe had left within an hour. I felt lonely, silent, and empty as I thought about the problems in my life that had unknowingly brought me this far-an experience that was so dramatic and priceless.

Honestly, I never imagined that my wedding day would be the worst day of my life, that I would have to go through all sorts of miserable obstacles. Especially when I almost lost my life, as well as almost losing Axe. Truly, it was all chest-thumping. Just thinking about it makes my heart feel like it's being torn into tiny pieces.

And Axe...

Don't ask me about him, I don't want my longing to get worse. Yes, the more I kept thinking about my problems with him, the feeling of wanting to meet suddenly surfaced. I should have realized that I was the one who asked him to leave, now I can't blame him for not being beside me.

Never mind...

I sighed in resignation as I stared out the window with the curtains partially open, showing the rain
